If you can update, you just have to remove the automatic updates in the play store, and you do not lose Google services

Running stock Vodafone EVA-L09C02B137
Developer mode enabled,
USB debugging enabled
"All HiSuite to use HDB" enabled
connect phone to PC - PC auto-detects phone, installs hisuite etc.
Run hisuite and get "Please authorise your computer to manage your device" with a picture of the phone which says "Allow connection in HDB mode" - which I don't get on the device.
I've been through the forum and uninstalled everything, restarted both PC and phone, installed the APK from the hisuite program files folder, enabled files and photos mode (both work correctly in explorer) but can't get through to hisuite.
Any help would be appreciated.

I have the same problem here....
The Same Here !!
I came back from vacationd and after some updates Huawei did (actually its the latest version), my phone won't connect to computer using HiSuite.
So i went to this site and Downloaded the previous version of HiSuite . https://hisuite.software.informer.com/versions/
Uninstalled the latest version from my mobile and from my computer --> rebooted my phone (no i didn't rebooted the computer.)
I downloaded the version 5.0.2.301 (it's the previous version)
Installed it on computer !!!
When you will be asked to upgrade DO NOT UPGRADE !!!
Follow the rest of procedures and it will work...
I installed one ui on unlocked note 9 exynos variant with 6gb ram and 128gb rom. It had a bug which didn't allow the incoming and outgoing call in LTE/3G/2G(Auto Mode). So, i thought of rolling back to oreo. I deregistered myself from beta participation through members app, then i downloaded smart switch application on pc. Upon clicking downgrade, it analyses and downloaded all required files. When installation was initializing it gave a error "failed to recognize software update mode". I tried it around 5 times, everytime same error comes. I tried reinstalling driver, switching usb port, reinstalling app on pc and even deleting temporary files but problems remains same on every attempt, pls help me!

You just re-registered for the beta and then went through smart switch again?
Interesting sounds like you have to be registered to the Beta before you can downgrade back to Oreo.
hi all,
My P20 Pro in under Android Pie
Model: CLT-L29
Installed Hisuite on Windows 10 Home 64-Bit, but unable to detect/connect phone
How to solve this problem ?
Type in settings's search bar : HDB
Hisuite has become trash recently. It literally won't backup your app data even though it advertises it. Useless!
Have done the HDB on phone settings, yet the software could not detect the phone.
What is wrong with Huawei ?

By the looks of it, everything. They are focusing on the ban instead of fixing hisuite.
Try to go in developer options and enable adb (settings - system - about phone - press 6 times on build number)
@The Restless Soul
Strange, just did a test with an app.
Application and data backup with Hisuite.
Uninstalls of the application and data.
App restoration and data with Hisuite.
No problem on my P20 Pro
I would try reinstalling your device driver on your computer.

Hi, everyone!
Can someone suggest how to connect my phone to MacBook and get access to files on the phone? I
have installed SmartSwitch, but it shows "connecting to your Samsung Note 9" > ".... connected" >"..... connecting" in a loop. And with Windows PC, it works fine.
Any clues?
Try updating your MacBook and SmartSwitch. You may need to install additional updates before it functions properly.

In that case you may have to install the latest MacOS updates onto your mac.
Hi,
I bought dual sim p30 pro and found out that SIM 1 was blacklisted but SIM 2 wasnt. I can use the phone with one SIM only but there is few other things which are not working.
1. It doesnt update. It stucked with firmaware 10.1 and whatever i try it wont update.
2. My PC doesnt recognise it at all, when i connect the phone its charging but nothing else. Hisuite doesnt see it either.
3. Fast charging doesnt work (original charger and cable)
Any ideas how to fix it?
cheers

Hisuite doesnt see my phone. I tried all methods from the forum and no luck.
I've 2 HUAWEI phones and Hisuite is working on both.
Probably you haven't installed the correct HUAWEI USB Driver.
