I had the same feeling at the beginning, I fixed it by setting the ignore accidental edge touch option (or something like that) to small area. The problem was that some touches, like the "a" or "q" weren't getting registered.
Same also the back button in navigation panel sometimes is not working
No issues with mine.

Where i can find that option?
My device running MIUI 12.5 also has lag when typing & Same also the back button in navigation panel sometimes is not working.
Do you know how to fix this error?

Maybe we can wait on their update.
If install ROM EU data can be fix the following error?
After updating to the latest version of Gboard software, the keystroke delay has been fixed

Are they for a german ROM also?
If i changed the location on the HTC-Homepage to Europe I see the Hotfixes, on the German Site not
Interestingly, the ROM i use has no curtains, top or bottom, but after the flickering hotfix the top curtain is back.
i have installed it on my original rom (german device) and everything is working fine

that's normal, cause u install the original bar with that fix.htc changed the colors from the bar.reinstall "NoCurtains" should work.but y do you install the patch when u dont have the bar active and removed it with "NoCurtains" ????

I installed the on-screen fix on my WWE ROM device and it works great. So far I have not encountered any side-effects but will keep you posted if I do.
Thanks - I installed only the slide hotfix as I have yet to have any flicker problem.
No issues yet. Does not seem to change anything except the slider sensitivity.

i think he means when you try to use the slider to answer the incoming call the slider isnt as responsive as it should be.
i have a problem though about downloading these hotfixes. i just cant seem to download them. i push the button and nothing happens. even the first hotfix for the HD for the screen freeze problem i couldnt download. does anyone else have this problem and did they find a way around this?

I think i found another bug after installing the flicker hotfix.when u go to the telephone menu (by selecting the hardware key or via software) in the second bar from the top, icons from the topbar appear.for example accu status or bluetooth headset modus.in my opinion these symbols have just to appear in the top bar and not in the second bar which have been changed from htc.See the attachments too see what i mean.
can someone please post the cabs
Few words of caution, perhaps:
According to some in the "Phone dialler - misplaced text" tread, there are also other problems: (1) texts being displayed where they are not supposed to be; (2) can't reinstall the "slider" fix after uninstalling it.

Does anyone faced an issue that the home button stopped functioning? It does not go to home screen nor does it show the recent applications on the long press. I enabled heptic feedback and it reacts when I touch the home icon but it does not do what it supposed to do.

I'm having the same issue. I installed:
cm-7-20121104-NIGHTLY-passion.zip
gapps (gapps-jb-20121011-signed.zip
Home button does not work (but gives haptic response as reported above). There are other problems as well; Play Store won't connect, and the system is generally unstable and reboots fairly often.
Is there a more stable version that I should be using?

So i use the on screen keys on my P10 but one thing that has been bugging me since i have it is the fingerprint sensor behaving like a home key, is there anyway to disable this? it's annoying when i'm on yt and a touch it unintentional and just goes to my homescreen

yeah I don't have any app that uses my fingerprint scanner except to log into PayPal

I really hate this too. I use the fingerprint sensor everywhere possible and this is really, REALLY getting on my nerves. I'd go back to my own Xperia Z5 if this wouldn't be what my employer got me. The Z5 actually has a very, VERY good power/lock button with a fingerprint sensor that actually is usable for something else than screen unlocking. I've used Xperia's for years and after a few weeks I'm really starting to miss my Z5 - mostly because of this. And full waterproofing, covered by warranty.
Is it too hard to add a setting to disable the button completely to use it ONLY as a figerprint sensor? I want to use the default Android navigation bar, not some unique gesture thing. At least Sony's Android has been very conservative for years but this thing is like any Samsung with tons of bloatware and this crappy and useless fingerprint sensor acting as a home button unless you touch it just gently enough. And I'm forced to use this for work. AaaAAaarrgGgh!
Edit: And I have the P20 instead of the P10.

Only solution is t use the offscreen navigation buttons. Then the fingerprint button functions well.
Press once is 1 step back, long press is home.
Swipe over the button to see active programs and change or close them.
When u are used to it, u don't wanna go back.
I found a solution. Install this specific app, enable it, then set all actions to "none".

I have latency on the keyboard while taping on both side of the screen, I "fix" it by resizing the keyboard without touching the sides, but is there another fix ? I even feel it on the haptic feedback... Did somebody else have this problem ?
I have the same problem. Something feels "off" while typing and clicking on the side keys, like a little lag.
Does it only happen with Gboard? Could you try with another keyboard so that we can rule out a touch screen issue?

SwiftKey feel the same
Same here. Even though it's subtle, I noticed it immediately when I started using my pixel 5. Hopefully it's not a hardware fault.

It doesn't seems to have something to do with the side swipe back feature, the lag is still there with the 3 buttons navigations. Could it be something like a "prevent accidental side touch" feature ?
