Does anybody know why I can't use fingerprint unlock at Bitwarden? I can only use face unlock for biometric unlock
You have to disable completely the face recognition for it to work. I think it's a bug in the rom. Also when the phone doesn't see your face it switch to fingerprint after maybe 10 seconds of trying to recognize yourself

I have a T-Mobile S6 but flashed Cleanrom for ATT. I noticed that while using the fingerprint unlock method the screen will still require swipe to unlock. In other words, I have my phone set to lock 3 minutes after the screen turns off. Normally if I turned the phone back on before the phone actually locked it would just pick up where I left off but now with the ATT rom it will ask me to swipe to unlock when I turn the screen back on before the phone actually locks. Is there any way to remove this?
That's pretty weird. My AT&T phone doesn't do that.
Did you get anywhere with resolving this? I'm running stock AT&T, not rooted, and annoyed that I unlock with fingerprint and need to also, subsequently swipe.
I found the solution to what may be the same issue you're having - though I am running the stock T-Mobile rom.
You need to turn off all the smart unlock features - trusted locations, devices, etc. For some reason, with those enabled, unlocking (often, but not always?) requires a swipe and fingerprint - but without them it works as you would want/expect.
I think this may be an attempt to give us a lock screen when the device stays unlocked, but if you unlock it with the fingerprint when it is already unlocked, it doesn't bother to even try reading your print, so it misses that you did something that couldn't be in your pocket. Very annoying.
What is different between face unlock and trusted face?
Someone please explain me.
Trusted face is associated with the smart lock-feature which keep the phone unlocked when at home, on the move or when it recognize your face. This all requires that the phone has been unlocked already through usual means, password, pattern or fingerprint.
Face unlock however is when you can unlock your phone directly using just your face.
Hi,

No
Originally I had set up face recognition along with fingerprint reading to unlock my S10. I've been troubleshooting my problematic FPS so I went to disable face recognition however I noticed the lock screen is still expecting it and an error pops up at the top stating "There was a problem with your face data. Register your face again."
I've double checked that face recognition is not enabled anywhere, is there something I'm missing? It seems like the phone still thinks it is enabled even though I have no registered faces anymore
Can anyone duplicate this?
Try switching to security "none". This will delete all your fingerprints and face data. Then enable fingerprint unlock again.

Where can that be done? I tried setting the lock screen to pattern only and deleted my face and fingerprint data.
I reregistered a face a noticed that even with the face unlock off under Lock Screen -> Screen Lock Type, the phone is still trying to use it
I think a reboot after turning everything off did the trick!
Recently, I have begun to notice that when i double tap on a locked screen to watch the time, smartphone sometimes unlocks itself. It's worth noting that I didn't set up face unlock and I didn't touch fingerprint scanner. Does anyone else have such issue? What could be the reason?
Unlocking with a trusted Bluetooth device is also disabled
