Question View phone information without screen - Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra

I purchased a s21u with intentions of trading it. the screen completely does not work but i know the phone powers on. Is there a software that will allow me to view the phone's information to confirm that there is not a FRP lock or any additional information from my pc?

Note 5 Finger Print Sensor Not Responding. Try Again Later

I have the T-Mobile branded version of the Note 5, and the lock screen will often display the message above. The fingerprint sensor will work occasionally, but more often than not, I'm forced to use the pin to unlock the phone. This phone is KNOX tripped, but the firmware is stock across the board, and I haven't been able to find any solution to this problem. Any suggestions other than returning the phone would be appreciated.

Accessing that area can be done on Samsung devices aswell. This is not a security flaw, that area is meant to be accessible from lock screen so if you need to turn flashlight on or similar things without needing to unlock your device.
But if you pick some of the buttons it will request you to unlock the device to do the action. Only some of the buttons can be used while on lock screen.
On Samsung if you touch WiFi, Bluetooth, mobile data and position tracking on lock screen it will then request you to unlock the device to be able to turn them off or on.
After checking my Asus Rog phone 2 I see what you mean now. It seems Asus didn't add such security, which they should.

in my Huawei they totally block using the above scroll bar and add some useful shortcuts on lock screen for flash and so on

P30 Pro and Hey Google on locked screen

I am trying to use Hey Google to trigger some Google Home actions while my screen is locked.
No matter what I do on the settings of Google Assistant, the phone always requires me to unlock the phone before carrying on the requested command ("Sure, but first you will have to unlock your device").
I believe that there should be several Hey Google results / actions that are available with a locked screen if personal results are enabled. So, is there a way to execute Home actions while the screen is locked?
As my plan B I tried to use Smart Lock so that the screen gets automatically unlocked when the smartphone is connected to a trusted bluetooth device. Nonetheless, I am still required to unlock my phone one first time after it connects to the bluetooth device, and after that the screen is no longer locked.
In this case is there a way to set Smart Lock in such a way that the screen does not require a first unlock using the pattern or fingerprint?

Question Phone unlocking in pocket

I often find that my phone is unlocked or pocket dialed in my pocket, occasionally feeling a little vibration when I guess it is trying to unlock.
I unlock with fingerprint usually. My trouser pockets clearly don't have my fingerprints pressing against the sensor.
I've turned on the "pocket mode" option in advanced settings but it still does it.
Is there any way I can fix this? I am not rooted and have locked bootloader.
Thanks

At least they are consistent
I'm using Pocket Lock from Play Store, I set it to lock my phone when it's upside down and the screen is getting turned on.
It's not perfect, but solves the above problem which annoyed me as well as you.
Edit: I've turned off the phone's own pocket mode, Pocket Lock alone is sufficient enough.

Big problem also for me, I've made like a thousand call or multiple WhatsApp forward...
I solved turning off face unlock. Just using the fingerprint or sequence
The most confusing thing here is how on earth does the phone accept the unlock while in pocket? When using my finger it rejects it often enough.. in my pocket my thigh has a higher success rate? I doubt it randomly would draw the right pattern so often.
So all a thief would have to do is put the phone in their pocket and it unlocks eventually!
Use a case/care when placing in pocket and place the back the phone against your skin, not the display.
What's really disturbing is when you find it has opened setup pages you don't even recognize
Has anybody tried Pocket Lock? ASUS' built-in pocket mode is very buggy, it would be more than enough to check the gyroscope if the phone is in mostly vertical position (upside down or vice versa), and when the proximity sensor shows almost 0 distance to something, the screen should stay off and the phone locked. That's what Pocket Lock provides a working solution for - I'm not the developer, so I'm not advertising it, but as somebody who had the same problem as you have in this subtopic, I bought the pro version and the "ghost unlocking" is now gone.

Thanks. And also to the previous poster about this app.
Once installed do you lose access to fingerprint unlock etc?

There's an alternative locking method to keep fingerprint unlocking, but seemingly it doesn't work under A12 - still, you can keep using the fingerprint reader until Pocket Lock has locked your device, which is better than call anybody from your pocket.
BTW, your pocket won't unlock your phone as stated in one of the previous posts, but an incoming call will turn your screen on, and if you're unlucky, on the virtual dial pad your pocket will enter numbers.

Question Watch 5 Updated to AVK6. Some issues...

I just updated my Watch 5 44mm on AT&T to R915USQU1AVK6 and I'm finding out some issues...(or at least one for now). I'll post more when I find more.
If you notice your Back key no longer shows the previous screen when pressed, simply restart your watch. It'll work again.
Some notable improvements...
Before the update, when the Watch is on the charger and screen lock is active, tapping the Watch to see anything (including the time) always brings up the pattern lock or PIN. Now it allows you to see the time and other limited info. To see more info, you must unlock the Watch. You can even wear remove it from the charger and start wearing it, check the time, etc. without unlocking. But of course when you want to access more, you must unlock the Watch.
