I have a Captivate (i896) running CM9 (the latest nightly build) and am enjoying CM9 immensely. The only problem I have with it is that the Bluetooth will not automatically connect to devices that it is already paired with.
Here is an example, I get in my car and the car tries to connect to the phone but cannot, even though bluetooth is on and ready to go. It will connect if I go into the bluetooth settings on the phone and tell it to connect. If it helps, it is the Ford sync system in the car. I am having the problem though to varying degrees with any bluetooth device.
Any thoughts?
Bluetooth is very weird on CM11. I have one device (Motorola H730) which would auto connect when I turn it on. But on this other bluetooth device (Flexsmart X3) would not auto connect. I have to remove it from my phone and re-add every time I want to use Flexsmart X3. Anyone know why this is happening? Both devices works fine on my old android phone.
Recently changed the rom of my phone to android 9.0 (tugapower), my phone is the oneplus one. On android auto i have everything working fine, aa mirror included, but today i couldn't make a call. The phone worked fine, the call was made but i couldn't hear nothing and the receiver couldn't hear to. Is there a problem with the Bluetooth of my car? In previous versions of android it worked always without any failures. Is there any configuration that i need to do on android auto or android itself that i am missing? must i connect to the Bluetooth of the car before conecting the usb cable? Is there a way to connect wirelessly?
Thank you for your help.
Hi,
when I start my car, my phone doesn't connect automatically to my car bluetooth (mitsubishi ASX 2012) and doesn't play music from phone like all my old phones do.
If I make or receive a call, then the phone connects to my car, but when the call is over it disconnects again form the car.
I found a solution to this problem: on bluetooth "other setting" I select my car device and turn off "multimedia audio" option and after a few seconds turn on it again. In this way all works well, but I would like fix it permanently without my manual intervention every time.
I have MIUI Global 12.0.1.0. (QFKMIXM, android 10 QKQ1.190825.002) but this bug was already present on MIUI 11.
Any ideas?
Thanks

Same thing for me in my Honda, im on mortal os latest. It worked on stable build xiaomi.eu 12.0.2.0
Now i have to do the same trick as you or use an aosp rom it works perfectly there).
I have similar issue with hotspot turned on - as soon as i turn it on, it repeatedly disconnects my bluetooth devices, and also hotspot client connections.
it was present in MIUI 11, also is present in MIUI12, nothing helped, even full factory reset.
It was last time i bought xiaomi i think.
Try resetting / wiping wifi and BT settings from share/connections.
I have my device in Spanish so not sure how it's called in English

Same issue with my 2012 Mitsubishi Lancer! How annoying.
After trying all the suggestions listed, including turning the phone connection and media connection settings on both my phone and my car stereo off and on in various sequences, I've finally found a solution.
Go to developer options > networking > Bluetooth AVRCP version
The default setting is AVRCP 1.4, change it to AVRCP 1.5
This fixed it instantly for me.
Hope this helps anyone else with this issue :fingers-crossed:
Hi all! The problem is that phone don't search bluetooth devices around and don't connect. My previous phone (iPhone), connect automatically to car audio when I seat in car, I need to search devices manually and connect when use RMN11.
MIUI 13.0.14 (Android 11)
Is there some setting to start search devices? Thanks in advance
