Hello, I flashed magisk v25 on Redmi note 9s. My android version is 10 and after flashing when I restarted my device and clicked the magisk for installation, its stuck here. Please someone help if anyone faced this before.
Same with me on RM 6s PRO. Have you found a solution?

Try flashing magisk delta instead of magisk

I tried the version 16.7, 17.1, and 17.3.. all of them make me to get stuck in the bootloader ( MI logo turn on and then off rebooting).
The 16.4 makes me boot to the ROM, but in magisk manager it says that I still don't have the root rights.
I'm trying to figure it out for hours but seems that I can't get the root at all.. any of you know how to fix this? Thanks.. :crying:
At least if magisk is not working, there's a version of SuperSU compatible with android 9?

I got the same issue. It is may because we dirty flashed different version.
In my case Xplore apk was disabled from root access without reason. I just uninstalled/reinstalled it and that brings back the root.

Is your device Chinese version and not international??
Title says it all, I can't root my Xiaomi MI8 (dipper) on MIUI 8.11.15 Global with the latest TWRP by wzsx150, I'm not sure what I've done wrong or is it just not compatible? I'm also using the latest Magisk which is v17.3
Things I've tried:
Flash dm-verity first then flash magisk
Flash Magisk without dm-verity
All of them unsuccessful. Please help me on this one, I really need to root my device. Thank you

What's the error message? Tried with 17.2?
If the flashing of Magisk has gone without errors, you may need to download the Magisk Manager apk and install and open it and it will show that you are rooted

I'm trying to install magisk via twrp on my K20 pro China version over Havoc 2.8. I'm getting error 1 when trying to do that. I've read that this as to do with boot image. Could someone hint me on how to fix this?

i have the fastboot ROM "chopin_images_V12.5.3.0.RKPCNXM_20210527.0000.00_11.0_cn_90be99bee5"
after flashing of boot.img via adb tools done sucessfully, after reboot bootloop starts
replace the boot.img with original boot.img file , problem disappeared and phone becomes Ok
ROM i am using is China Original ROM, didn't flash to global ROM
also tried to patch boot.img via magisk v22.0 same problem
heard from someone magisk 7.5.1 will solve this issue , but after installing magisk 7.5.1 there no file patch option
