gcam exynos xml to share? - Samsung Galaxy S20 FE Questions & Answers

Hello friends, I am the owner of a samsung s20 fe exynos model gm 780f, I tried several gcams, many of them are bsg and zcam but I can not have a good xml configuration file. I know that for the front camera you can't get good results and that it works badly. I'm just looking for some xml file to optimize the day and night shots of the main lens. Somebody has ?

there's an FE telegram group that's mainly focused around Gcam and photography. search for Morgenman on telegram.

GCam | POCO X2 | best and stable

As we all know the POCO X2 has one of the best sensor i.e. IMX686 for its main shooter but the jpg conversation algorithm of stock camera is not upto the mark. Stock cam images are slightly over saturated, Little bit warm in tint, and when you zoom in; the details of textures looks like oil painted and not that much accurate and sharp to the edges. Though its completely software dependant thing so can be improved.
Also front camera of POCO X2 is not upto the mark its having f2.2 aperture, due to which details and textures capturing is just average in selfies .
To enhance the camera performance of POCO X2 to get full advantage of IMX686 we can use GCam. As the GCam is modified application for few perticular devices it's hard to find the perfectly working gcam port for our device. (Though as per my observation on several popular smartphones, GCam ports works best on Nokia smartphones the condition is you should have to search a lot for perfect mode.)
For POCO X2 as per posted on Gcam Port Hub there are multiple working GCams available; but the problem is final image production from those modes are different, some are over sharpen, some are to soften, some looks too artificial, some are very good but poor in capturing details, some are good at low-light and some at daylight.
So as i tried gcam ports of almost all top developers on POCO X2; here are some of the versions that i found good in major aspects.
MGC_7.3.020_Parrot043-v2.apk
DMGC_7.2.018_ver.3.15.apk
HyperCam-RaizenA-10.apk
POCOX2_F1v9.6_6.2.030.apk
:
Also some users are using PixelCam_Plus_V2.0.apk and UltraCVM_v5.apk but i didn't find both of this that much good, might be I don't know the good settings for them.
For the 7.4.x version for POCO X2 i tried NGCam_7.4.104-v1.0_gcam.apk which is working fine and images of it are fine.
So if anyone find any other better GCam modes that are working good on POCO X2 then please share it in this thread. Also can suggest best settings, libs and .XMLs here.

Question Google camera port on oppo find x3

I've ported over a version of the Google camera..https://www.cyanogenmods.org/google-camera-oppo-find-x3-pro-gcam/
Google camera 8.1
Below is is an example of the only photos I've managed to take so far. However the Google camera port definitely has a more natural tone. The oppo camera has a more vivid look to it
Have you found a way to support auxiliary lenses ?
I prefer Oppo's colour science over GCam there.
There are a couple of good X3 pro v pixel 5 comparisons out there on YouTube. There is no reason to want the Google cameras.
Part of the joy of android is being able to play around with stuff like this regardless of weather you need it or not, don't you think?
okokok,very thanks
What is the status of GCam port for X3 Pro? Everyone happy using stock camera?
Is this only mod working or we can try many other ports as well?

There's many new builds released like MGC and LMC that work good also without an XML, for MGC you can download the aweme package that can shot with wide lens but have a bug on normal lens, I prefer LMC for normal shot in day light, you can find all simply searching on telegram

Themes / Apps / Mods GCAM for Exynos S21 Ultra

Hi All,
GCAM for S21 Ultra. For Exynos, try BSG or Zoran. BSG has recently updated.
Anybody using GCAM on S21 Ultra Exynos variant? Kindly post here which version and config file you're using.
What's working & what are the known issues with Exynos variant?
Same here
I use ZGCAM based on GCAM 7.4
Zoran: ZGCAM_7.4_V1.03387.apk

Check OP has been updated. You might want to try yourself as others have not replied.
I just checked the BSG version. Main and front lens are mostly not better with GCam. Especially 108 mp mode wipers the floor with anything GCam does in good light. Also dynamic range is better on stock camera. In some cases GCam has better detail than the 12 mp pics from stock, but this is unreliable.
The one thing GCam ROCKS is with the ultra wide lens. MUCH more detail. A completely different outcome. This alone will let me keep GCam as a secondary camera app.
Tele lenses are unavailable. Unsurprisingly so, because not even stock pro cam can access them. Sad. Imagine the 3x cam being as improved as the ultra wide ...

There are no differences, especially with Exynos for now. Samsung on the Snapdragon model allows telephoto to be used, but only with certain Samsung package names. Ruler and Scan3d are real Samsung apps that GCam is pretending to be in order to access the two telephotos.
However, for Exynos, Samsung still doesn't allow access of the telephotos via this method, so you don't need to use the Samsung package names as all of them will work the same.

I thoroughly confirm that this version of GCAM manages to pull out visibly better quality and more detail from the Ultra wide lenses. Both in normal mode and night mode as well.
HRD+ (enabled trough the settings) Also gives pretty good result. However the GCAM app doesn't fix up the occasional fish-eye distortion that comes with Ultra wide lenses. (fixable easily is post) While the Samsung cam does it by default.

Thanks for the information. Im also an exynos user. Do you use a lib or xml file? I look to get the most quality out of photos (detail) . Or any settings adjusted?
I do not use any config file at all

I haven't ebanbled any config at all. Straight up as it is. I only enabled HDR+ control, which makes a an extra HDR button to appear in the on screen camera controls (little down looking arrow on of screen)
Regardless of hdr. I only used the ultrawide camera a few times. I'm pretty satisfied with the original camera for all other modes.
If a good photos is not too well colored or exposed by default, I use Snapseed to adjust it to my likings. Only takes 10-15 extra seconds.
Hi guys, soon-to-be S21 Ultra (exynos) user here. Has anything changed in regards to auxiliary lenses in apps like GCam? Do the telephotos work, or still just the ultra wide? Thanks.

To my knowledge still only UW and UWW, so no telephoto lenses on GCams.... I'd be very happy if someone could correct me, though

Question S21U exynos Gcam

Can anyone help me with gcam for exynos, ive tried many ports but cant seem to find a good config or a port that i can use all lenses of my camera.
If someone could help me that'd be great
Samsung's stock cam is good but everytime i get close to an object it just switches to ultra wide and ruins the whole pic, and i think the tele lenses could improve alot more.
With Exynos there's no way to use the telephotos in GCam without rooting and replacing lib files

Bump.
Does anyone use gcam on x3 pro and is it better than the stock? I can't shoot good photos at night with stock app.
For me stock camera work good in the major of conditions, Gcam shot better during the day in normal light conditions, the shadows are more detailed and all in general. You can try LMC Camera 8.4 for normal shots also without XML, for wide lens you can try BSG Camera with aweme package but have some issues in normal shot, will show a black space at the left of the photo, seem it can be solver finding right session id for back camera, but unfortunately I not find a right value for it.
Both gcam are on telegram, just search for it.
