No touch disable mode?

There's no touch disable mode since Oreo update.
Anyone experience same problem?

Yes... looking for solution for about a week. We need a hw_XXX entry for that feature to enable it.
It´s like font chooser, which you can enable by adb with this command "adb shell settings put system hw_hide_font_style false".
did you find the solution?

Want my result from P10 Lite EMUI 8 Android Oreo?
I talked to Huawei support on facebook and they told me that:
"Hello, in Android 8 Touch-disable mode is enabled by default and can not be turned off. Best regards"
So i asked is it unavailable to disable it by ADB too:
"Unfortunately, this function has stopped being editable on Android Oreo"
I don't know what to think about this...

I think it is in emui somewhere.. same as honor 7x has DT2W/DT2S (double tap to wake/sleep) mode. It is about to find the proper command to enable/disable it. Same as function to turn on font chooser (whjich was on emui hidden since version 5 or 6). It is still possible to enable the font chooser by adb shell command (in settings/display there will show an option to choose font). Of course it is useless now, because font chooser is in theme app and also accessible trough long press on themeapp icon. but still this function is in EMUI8 and was disabled in EMUI6. So i think all the features of various huawei/honor devices are in all EMUI8 firmwares but we have to find how to enable/disable them.
1- by looking into system/build.prop or system/vendor/build.prop (the old way, not so much used by Huawei these days)
2- by looking and comparing getprop results across various Huawei honor devices
3- by reverse ingeneering the settings.apk and other main apk files (need lot of time for this).
I did this three steps on various models i had and found lot of features that wass disabled/hidden, or was for high end devices and in my device firmware were disabled.
Would be great to have getprop result and build. prop files from a huawei/honor device which still has TOUCH DISABLE MODE option in settings acessibility.

Already got P9 Lite EMUI 5.0.3
getprop result
EDIT #1: Second getprop -> Result
No need for build prop or to be rooted.
I just found the solution. Hallelujah!
Download the Settings Database Editor app on Google Play:
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=by4a.setedit22
In the System Table screen, scroll down to the bottom towards the 'T' section and find "Touch Disable Mode 1". Tap on it and change it to 0 to turn it off and hit save.
Please thank if it works for you ?

EMUI 5/8 Glove Mode Enable Guide [ROOT]

Hello,
I will show you how glove mode is activated in Huawei devices with EMUI 5/8 installed. I found this option by chance.
First, install miXplorer and open miXplorer. Swipe to left and select ''Root''.
product>etc>prop>local.prop open with Code Editor. And find ro.config.hw_glovemode_enabled= 0 to 1.
Finally, save the file and reboot device.
thanks. if i ever decided to go back to stock and stay, i might try that..
it will be helpful to people who opens their phone with gloves because of work.
though it would be great to have an app just for it.. or like an inbuilt feature just like haky's custom rom with COH parts or Code of Honors Extras.

A strange bug: Using XInternalSD can cause Airplane Mode unavailable on Android Oreo

On Android 8.0 Oreo, after enable modue XInternalSD, all the apps like Power Toggles which can control airplane mode and GPS through root all stop working.
As we know, after Android 4.2, apps only can control airplane mode through root by
Code:
su (get root permission)
settings put global airplane_mode_on 1 (Turn off Airplane mode is 0)
am broadcast -a android.intent.action.AIRPLANE_MODE --ez state false
As the same way, when XInternalSD actived, I try to active airplane mode manually by above command also failed. if XInternalSD doesn't actived, it woks well.
And this bug can easily reappear on Android Emulator(SDK 26 x86 image), I tested. And it happened on my phone (LG V20 US996). So I think it happened in all Android Oreo (xposed v90 beta3).
So that means, I can't use XInternalSD and some apps like Power Toggles to control airplane mode and GPS at the same time. And I also no idea why it cause that.
(emmmm, I guess, it seems XInternalSD cause broadcast unable sending or settings vaule unable to write)
And I also check the source code of XInternalSD and I no idea too... Just some hook of storage.
And.... Even I disabled all the features in XInternalSD (uncheck Custom path tointernal SD; uncheck full access to external sd; uncheck Enable for apps..etc; ), just make the module actived, the problem also be caused.
And...This module work fine in Android 7.1 and before. No those problem.
Anybody can help me deal with it?
Finally I found a module called XCoolDroid and it works well on Android Oreo with no that problem.

Hello , to enable VOLTE & VOWIFI , install logkit app here https://www.apkmirror.com/apk/onepl...ase/onepluslogkit-1-0-2-android-apk-download/ and dial *#800# > function switch > Volte, enable > Vowifi , Enable. Then reboot device . It will enable toggle in settings > network > volte , vowifi
Finally , you can uninstall logkit installed version in setting to restore to default version.

I was worried about the same thing, but when I tried this procedure, it seems that SIM ON / OFF was repeated immediately after restarting and it failed, but after about 5 minutes the VoLTE icon is displayed and communication and calls are possible. became.
Thank you!
Model:OnePlus Nord CE 5G Oxygen OS 11.0.1.1.EB13AA
SIM:KDDI(japan) LTE-FDD: B1/3/11/18/
afterwards...
When I put two SIM cards in and operated it, the "system" storage became full in one day, and I couldn't catch the radio waves, let alone normal operation.
When I checked from the settings, it was "system", so I couldn't delete the file, so I had no choice but to reset the terminal.
I couldn't find the ROM for "11.0.1.1.EB13AA", so I tried to activate VOLTE by flashing "11.0.3.3" or "11.0.9.9", but it doesn't work by any method. I could not do it.
The method I tried is the one above, or one that uses "magisk" or "PDC.exe".

so you propose no to use this logkit method? it causes system storage full?

The only condition for VOLTE to be enabled with this logkit was that the OS version must be "Oxygen OS 11.0.1.1.EB13AA".
If the ROM version is 11.0.1.1, it may be enabled with this logkit.

Tasker and Android 12

Hi. I have update my OnePlus to OOS 12... and all tasks I use stop working.
What can I do...?
I have root (magisk)...
But Tasker cant change any system setting anymore.
- can't change display timeout any more...
- can't turn AOD on/off
What I need to change thet to work on android 12... it's all working perfectly on 11
Please help
were you prompted to add back all of Tasker's permission requests? You may need to manually re-allow them (including SU with Magisk).
You can also get a lot of help at the official reddit r/tasker where the developer posts frequently.
I try..m didn't change anything... All tasks are in "green" and all seems to work... but non of system settings change.
On the end I find out it's ****ing Oppo Color OS, that make problem with everything....
If anyone know how to make tasker, and probably other apps working fine ln Colot OS, please help...
