Question Reverting my Redmi Note 10 Pro - Redmi Note 10 Pro

My friend changed my OS from Android MIUI to arrow os witch mimics Pixel OS but it's too buggy and it drains my battery soo much quicker and shuts down by itself, does any1 know how I can revert my Redmi Note 10 Pro back to android miui???

Download miflash tool, download latest fastboot zip file from your phone region (remember fastboot, not recovery zip), extract the fastboot zip, boot phone to fastboot by power button+volume down, connect phone to PC and select clean all (or do clean all and lock if you wish to lock the device bootloader once more). This will install the miui stock rom on your device. If you need more guide then watch yt videos about how to flash fastboot rom in xiaomi phones.

Xiaomi mi 3 fastboot help

I have xiaomi mi 3 purchased in 2014. now its in fast boot mode and android os is not loading. I tried to use flash rom tool to flash the rom and install new row.
I used
1.cancro_images_V8.2.1.0.MXDCNDL_20170117.0000.00_6.0_cn_a50bc845d3
2.cancro_global_images_V8.2.1.0.MXDMIDL_20170111.0000.00_6.0_global_d3d0820b62
images to flash rom using their flash rom tool. at the end of flashing tool says its successful.
but it reboots again and again and only showing the mi logo.
thought the above cancro images are very much new for the phone and then i found some older version of the rom from following url : en.miui.com/download-101
There are several older roms avaliable but not possible to use with flash rom too.
what should be my next step to make it useable
Thanks in advance
Hello, try installing TWRP recovery from fastboot method using command
fastboot flash recovery recoveryname.img
Reboot to recovery and install latest MIUI ROM.
If you haven't updated the device to MIUI based on Android marshmallow then possibly you have dual partition.
If you have marshmallow installed earlier follow the steps
Reboot to recovery
Wipe data cache system dalvik
Install MIUI latest ROM
Reboot.
If you didn't update to marshmallow search how to update to marshmallow in MIUI forums and follow instructions
Try to replace your battery. Some short bootloop on Mi3 caused by dead/faulty battery, and after some time it would only enter fastboot.
Test your battery by charging your cellphone normally on turned off state. You can turn it off by press and holding the power button.
Does it able to reach the offline charging screen (the green battery screen)? Does it charge normally? Or does its LED just keep blinking red?

[HELP] Downgrade Back To MIUI from Custom ROM.

I want to go back to MIUI 9 from custom ROM Pixel Experience (8.1.0). My device is Redmi 4X (Santoni)
1st option. (tried)
- I downloaded the MIUI ROM from here. http://en.miui.com/download-323.html
- I flashed this ROM through TWRP.
- The flashing process passed.
- But when I want to boot, it says "no OS. Want to continue reboot?"
- When I boot, it stuck on the boot logo.
2nd option. (tried)
- I downloaded the fastboot ROM and XiaoMi flash Tool from here. http://en.miui.com/a-234.html (Under Redmi 4X Santoni)
- I flash using "XiaoMi Flash Tool".
- XiaoMi Flash Tool detected my device.
- During flash, I got an error "no such file or directory".
So now I'm stuck. I can't go back to MIUI.
Only able to go to other Custom ROM.
Or do I need any other files?
Try this https://androidfilehost.com/?fid=962187416754468805
this is xiaomi.eu rom
try that
http://en.miui.com/thread-621761-1-1.html
Try to flash again without Wipe.
1. Wipe data,chache,dalvik
2. Flash ROM ,dont wipe
3. Try to reboot,( if u have notice no OS try to Flash ROm once more but dont wipe )

Use any miui recovery rom to flash thru twrp or if you dont have twrp recovery the use fastboot rom
Here some steps..
#1 Recovery method
1) download any santoni miui recovery rom(stable, dev, xiaomi.eu, miuipro)
2) go to twrp
3) wipe system, cache, dalvik cache, data
4) install downloaded rom
5) flash root ( supersu or magisk)
6) flash lazy flasher( its recommend for miui roms)
7) reboot
Wait for start (it will take 5-10 min to start)
#2 fastboot method
1) download fastboot rom ( global or developer )
2) move to pc or if you download on pc then extract in drive C: root directory
3) make sure folder dont have any space between name like "roms here"
It must be "roms"
4) install and open xiaomi tool or mi flash tool
5) choose directory of rom ( not images folder)
Main folder like "santoni_global_images_xxxxxx"
6) enable USB debugging (if your phone dont have any rom skip it )
7) then go to fastboot mode
8) choose directory of fastboot rom
9) flash then wait to success
Your phone will reboot after success wait for boot and start its also take 5-10 min to start
From my Redmi 4X using Tapatalk VIP
In Fastboot method where did you extracted the '.tgz' setup file. If you extracted it to other than c drive, repeat the process by extracting the setup file in to desktop.

The solution would be xiaomi flash tool.Flash miui 8 first and then upgrade to miui 9

How are you installing magisk without any official or unofficial twrp???

redmi 8 terp
I am not sure, but on cz.xiaomi page one admin take this link to redmi 8 twrp. I dont try it because i dont have unlock bootloader now.
Sorry i try to take link in here but this stupid server rules... "To prevent spam on the XDA forums, ALL new users prevented from posting outside links in their messages. After approximately 10 posts, you will be able to post outside links. Thank you for understanding!"
Go to miuios.cz to section redmi 8/8A, post MIUI CZ SK ROM + TWRP, you must be loged and in VMach3 post is this link.
I have only tried to boot mentioned recovery, but it was not working for me.
Code:
~/Downloads$ fastboot boot recovery-TWRP-3.3.1-1127-REDMI8-CN.img
downloading 'boot.img'...
OKAY [ 2.107s]
booting...
OKAY [ 2.121s]it
finished. total time: 4.228s
~/Downloads$
After automatic reboot started system. When manualy restarted phone booted to vendor recovery mode. No adb was available and any try to boot to system was failure - phone always booted to recovery mode. To boot to system I needed to select "wipe data" and then reboot to phone (but all previous data/configuration was deleted).
One more try with this Unofficial TWRP 3.3.1-1127 for REDMI 8 by wzsx150, this time it was success, everything was working smoothly.
Install from fastboot mode:
Code:
fastboot flash recovery recovery-TWRP-3.3.1-1127-REDMI8-CN-wzsx150.img
fastboot boot recovery-TWRP-3.3.1-1127-REDMI8-CN-wzsx150.img
my device:
Code:
fastboot getvar product
product: olive
Tested also with rom MIUI 11 xiaomi.eu without issues.

TWRP is language and version (global, china etc.) neutral. You have on first screen by first run button on right side at the bottom where you can select english language.
If you want root your phone with magisk, go directly to canary version. By stable version I got root only by adb, other apps were denied root access and freeze for a short time (for ex. Total commander beta).
On the other hand I was not able to use phone with not encrypted data with none of magisk version (stable or canary) even if I had "Preserve forced Encryption" unticked.
Code:
~$ adb shell getprop ro.crypto.state
encrypted
Tested on MIUI 11.0.4 by xiaomi.eu.
Unable to install official TWRP in Redmi 8, Miui 11.0.7. It installed. and then vanished when rebooted. and then boot looped. Had to flash original recovery and boot img to reboot.
Had made sure that I didn't boot to system after flashing TWRP. and boot to recovery instead. It flashed okay. Could use the root after installing Magisk. But on reboot, all was gone. Boot looped.

Hello,
Did you reboot via button combo or fastboot reboot?
I read somewhere that Magisk is to be flashed before reboot.
Anyway, you will succeed.
I follow you because I am at 100 h to unlock.

mi 8 se soft bricked everytime I install a rom exept the stock rom

hi guys
i just bought a brand new mi 8 se with a unlocked bootloader ! it was running android 8.1 and i installed miui_MI8SE_V11.0.2.0.QEBCNXM_3363abf171_10.0 on it with a old twrp (i think 3.2) because the newest twrp just refused to boot . after installing that rom recovery or the OS won't boot so i installed the newest twrp and both android and twrp 3.5.0 booted no problem !
buy that rom is a china version and it's BS ....
i downloaded miui 11 from xiaomi.eu and attempted installing it ! i did the following :
enabled usb debugging and reboot to fastboot mode and installed twrp 3.5.0 and booted in twrp
then i used advance wipe option and wiped everything but internal storage
so i installed the rom and wiped data with writing yes and rebooted the phone but it shows the fastboot mode and i can't boot into android or twrp ....
so i have to use miflash to install the stock rom and repeat the process and follow every guide i could find one by one but still i'll stuck in fastboot
HELP ME PLS .....
i just want to install the miui 11 or 12 eu on this phone but it doesn't work

Question Camera

Guys I installed the Google pixel experience in my redmi note 10 pro then as the camera was bad I shifted to the previous miui ROM.everyrhing worked well but the camera was Googles and the quality is bad too.anyone have a fix for this Iam really panicking so much.and I did a mistake in flashing after formatting in orange fox I rebooted and forgot to wipe.then I wiped after reboot.later I flashed in the proper way but the camera remains same as Google pixel experience.
You should give us more information about the MIUI Rom you flashed. If you want a clean flash with stck ROM and working MIUI camera, follow the following steps.
1. Take backup on your PC or external sd card of any important data
2. go to fastboot mode and flash TWRP-3.5.2-sweet-Nebrassy.img (use command fastboot flash recovery TWRP-3.5.2-sweet-Nebrassy.img)
3. Hold down the power button and vol+ key until you reboot to TWRP
4. wipe system - data and cache
5. format data (not the same as wiping data, you will have to type yes)
6. reboot to recovery
7. flash latest MIUI stock ROM (you have to download the correct one for your device from https://xiaomifirmwareupdater.com/
8. reboot and you will have a stock rom eperience with the original camera
I flashed miui eu Rom from source forge.net but can it be a problem in the flashing as I didn't wipe before formatting and there is still some apps of pixel in the rom
I downloaded twrp image as u suggested but after flashing it in fastboot mode by CMD it stucks in sending recovery d u know the cause.is it that I didn't delete orange fox or something like this?
Any solution for this
