[Q] Erratic GPS behavior

Hello everyone,
I've had a T-Mobile branded LG Optimus L90 for a couple of months now and have been experiencing strange issues with the GPS functionality.
As an example, the phone will takes minutes to lock on when I am driving, and when it finally does, it will start drifting or tracking parallel to the road. I brought the device to a T-Mobile store where they ran some diagnostics but did not find any issues. They said there were not any known issues with the GPS on this phone.
Since it's difficult to show someone in a store that a problem exists with the GPS, I went for a walk with the LG phone and an HTC phone and recorded my track on both. Then, I used GPS Visualizer to render my round trip on a map. The blue path (HTC) is very much in line with my actual path, the red path is what the LG phone recorded. Both phones had the same GPS settings (high accuracy) and mobile data enabled. LG Optimus was reset to factory settings before the test.
Has anyone had similar issues with their LG Optimus L90 and can offer any suggestions?
My first l90 (405n) did not locked GPS unless I had data enabled. I got it replaced in one week
Show that image and get it replaced
Clear Cache and reinstalling app may work!
Or Maybe Custom Rom?
PS: I'm not LG User!
Demand a replacement. They always say something is not a known issue. Anything for them not to give out replacements....

Xperia Z1 and no compass

Hi All,
I have a brand new Z1 from China.
I had Android 4 something. I have user USB cable and PC Companion to flash the latest system 5 something.
To be honest with you I have not tested compass on the previous system, but the device is not even detected in Service Menu.
I can see that gyroscope is working fine, but compass is like non existent.
I have noticed that first when I could not use my Google Navigation. I thought that it will work using GPS coordinates, but compass seems to be one of the essential components of this software and there is no backup engine.
Please advise what should I do next as this is weird. I have a Motorola Goto and this phone works flawlessly comparing to surprises I have with Xperia.
Thank you

yea i dont think the xperia z1 has a compass, i brought mine like that, i try to go to google maps and the nav arrow dosent show up, only blue dot, i assumed that google removed the blue arrow. even using various testing apps nothing works no compass testers or calibrators work. and even on miui v7 the compass app dosent even move

Thank you for your answer.
In all the specs I have checked it is showing that the compass is included and sensor-wise it is not different from Motorola I have both were released roughly in the same time.
I come across a forum discussion where people say that they lost compass after upgrade from Android 4 to 5 possibly due to firmware issue.

Asus ROG 2 networks (Wifi, data) is not working

Hi there. I have an Asus ROG phone 2, which was dead for some time. But my local servicing guy fixed it somehow, and now my network service is not working at all. If I try to turn on wifi, it takes forever, and then crashes the wifi app. Same as mobile data. Also, the sound, vibration, the microphone is not working as well.
The technician told me that if I can find exact files and flash them, these problems will solve. I mean, he said these files are missing from the rom he flashed. So I need to find those files/rom to flash and fix these issues.
I need immediate help from you guys. Any help would be appreciated. How to fix these issues? Where would I find such files? and how would I flash them?
Thanks a lot for reading and reaching out.
