Hello I want to install an EEA Rom with twrp on my mi 11 pros but that is impossible and I always receive the same errors even to perform other actions, I have tested several versions of twrp but none of them works.
I used the official version of twrp : https://eu.dl.twrp.me/mars/twrp-3.6.2_11-0-mars.img.html and I used this from recovery https://xiaomirom.com/en/download/m...tar-stable-V13.0.7.0.SKAEUXM/#europe-recovery
Has anyone had this problem before or know how to solve it? If yes, how?
Thanks in advance
I had this problem today as well.
It has to do with device encryption in Android 12.
From: V13.0.5.0.SKAEUXM is Android 12 introduce.
Maby someone else can tell how to fix this or need we to wait?

I used the TWRP of SKKK [BOOT]3.6.2_12-Mi11Ultra-Mi11Pro_v5.6_A12-star-skkk_016c95cb, and this worked out for me to decrypted the filesystem.
But I do have still the same issue that the phone continuesly boots into the Recovery (now its boots into the TWRP), after 2 reboots the phone boots normally again... But still occurs when reboot the phone.
Did you managed to fix this with root?

The issue I have is that I am unable to install any custom rom in the phone, I am only able to correctly install xiaomi.eu roms and also miui global roms using fastboot method. Any custom rom I try, like Pixel Experience, but also many others, the phone will boot loop. Tried android 10 and android 9 roms, also tried to flash roms coming from an older global miui rom, just like one tutorial recomended to do, but still nothing. In TWRP there are no errors, rom seems to install correctly, but when I reboot the phone it will boot loop.
Another weird issue is that only some versions of TWRP will install on my phone, right now I am using Orangefox 10.0.3, version 10.0.4 just won't install, I flash it but nothing happens. TWRP versions from mauronofrio won't install for some unknown reason.
I'm at a loss really as to what is happening.

1. Try the latest OrangeFox beta - https://forum.xda-developers.com/mi-8/development/official-orangefox-recovery-project-t4039531
2. If you have any issues with it, then report (with logs) in the OrangeFox thread.
Hi all, today i bought redmi k20 pro (Indian). Bootloader unlocked.
Now, i want to flash twrp but i don't know which one is best? Official or unofficial? And which version?
I don't want custom rom. Need only rooted official miui rom.
Also want to pass safetynet. As of now, not rooted.
Thanks
My K20 pro will reach to me by 2-3 days and I too want to know which version of TWRP is the most stable for this device. The only difference is, I am planning to unlock the BL and flash EvoX or PE as soon as I get my hands on the device. I will try to find out the most stable TWRP for MIUI 12. If I find the answer, I will post here. Thank you.
Update: The official TWRP is the one developed/maintained by @mauronofrio
Link: https://eu.dl.twrp.me/raphael/twrp-3.4.0-1-raphael.img.html (TWRP 3.4.0-1)
You can also use https://eu.dl.twrp.me/raphael/twrp-3.4.0-0-raphael.img.html (TWRP 3.4.0-0)
You can use any of the two on MIUI 12.
For miui, go for orangefox 11, has ota support

Decryption is supported on Android 10 based ROMs I believe. Not sure about Android 11 though. You can ask the developer here: https://forum.xda-developers.com/k20-pro/development/recovery-unofficial-twrp-xiaomi-redmi-t3944363
you can use mauronofroi'twrp, then go to latest ofox.
use my guide if you like https://forum.xda-developers.com/k20-pro/how-to/simple-beginners-guide-to-raphaelin-t4020543
and yes android 11 has dfe support and working magisk
The best "TWRP" is the OrangeFox Recovery, because its based on TWRP, but have many feature, what not contained in TWRP.
Decrypt/encrypt support, theme support, OTA support, force disable stock recovery, so you won't has problem and you will have many customization option.
1. Unzip the zip file what you downloaded through OrangeFox's xda thread and copy the img - which is in the unzipped file - to the adb directory.
2. Remember the name of the .img, because you will write this in the command
3. Follow any instruction which is write down recovery install with adb method
4. When you will write the last command, change the end recovery.img for your download file's name.
Should looks like this, for example:
./fastboot flash recovery orangefox.img
5. Reboot to OrangeFox Recovery, the recovery will automatically reboot again and it will installed.
6. Ready to use when booted up.
well, this is the problem, some time ago I started to flash different android 12 custom roms, but I decided to downgrade to android 11 due to certain bugs and problems, the thing is that now every time I try to flash any android 11 custom from orangefox , it doesn't start, it stays at the logo or it sends me to download mode, but if I install another version of android 12, it starts without any problem, any ideas?

I think you need flash eureka vendor if it not included. Do you wipe product? If wipe flash stock product.

Im on my A605FN right now and i have installed AOSP v222 (treble_a64_bvS-userdebug 10 QQ3A.200805.001 200805 test-keys) as my system. Can someone send me a working android 8 GSI? Android 10 is too much for this device and my 3gb of ram cant take it. I dont have time searching for well working GSI's to this phone. I need well optimized system that will use minimum ammount of resources. Thanks.

Just try that Lineage R mod - it should work fine. However if you want so old builds, then there is best list with Android 8 Oreo section:

When i try to install lower android version than 10 my phone boots in download mode... Yes, regular odin mode, no errors, etc. Please help, i want to get rid of that android 10 no matter what version it is, even LineageOs or AOSP, its still android 10 that use a lot of resources to work smoothly
1. Download this and extract.
2. Go to TWRP.
3. Follow this guide (flash this in TWRP, not in Odin).
It should work well. Older Android versions may require older kernel versions to run or you just chosen wrong builds (it needs to be A/B arm32_binder64 (A64 - not arm64) vndklite).
In case that Lineage R mod is not smooth enough do the same with other GSI's from the list from my previous post (always choose arm32_binder64 vndklite (A/B) builds). Some will be lightweight enough for your needs.
Ye i know build for my phone . I will try the GSI you linked but which gapps should i use to this system?
And i have another great idea, what if i just not install the gapps and run clear CLEAR android
Hmm... Also i can install the most important gapps, I didnt think about that, that should use very small ammount of ram, cpu, etc.

Just use build I linked above. It has integrated Gapps and passes needed certfications out of the box. You can also download vanilla build and flash pico gapps yourself. However option with integrated gapps is just fine and sufficient. Read whole thread - author had the same problem as you and solved it by flashing Lineage R mod with integrated gapps - it's the most simple way.
Idk why but when i flash this GSI with no error and then i try to boot to the system it goes download mode. I think i know how to flash GSI's, I'm doing it 100% right. I flashed it in every possible way. It is getting boring

Well, flash maybe at first stock firmware via Odin to ensure that kernel and vendor partiton are untouched. And then flash GSI in TWRP two times like it was said in guide.
However the most common cause of such effect (booting to download mode) is just wrong build (wrong architecture - you need to always download arm32_binder64 (A64) builds).
I already tried to flash GSI after flashing ROM via Odin3. Still booting to download mode. Im 420% sure i downloaded right build.
Well, I'm out of ideas. However you can still try to resize system partition in TWRP to make it a bit bigger and then try to flash GSI image (two times). You can also just try to play with different GSI's from the GSI list - just look for the smallest images and try to flash them. If some will properly boot then just go back to TWRP and flash rest of your needs (pico gapps, Magisk, etc.).
I will try that in future
