URGENT PROBLEMS WITH MOTO E5 PLUS AND LINEAGEOS 18.1 - Moto E5 Questions & Answers

Hello greetings in advance I appreciate the help you can give me. A few days ago I installed Lineageos 18.1 on my Motorola E5 Plus XT1924-9 Hannah RETCN. From its installation it is presenting some failures that I detail below.
1.- Does not play any type of audio and notifications of any kind through the headphones or speaker. When placing an external device through Bluetooth if it reproduces it (be it headphones or external speakers).
2.- When making or receiving a call, you cannot hear or speak either. I mean, not even with the telephone receiver or the loudspeaker, when speaking the other person does not hear what is being spoken. By placing an external device such as a Bluetooth headset. It works perfect. You listen and the other person listens to what you say. Likewise, when receiving a phone call or when making it in some circumstances, the application gives an error where it indicates that if you want to close or wait. Also when opening the phone application it is the same when trying to dial a phone number it becomes extremely slow.
3.- When playing a sound with the music player, it doesn't play it, that is, it stays static, it doesn't advance for a second, if you put a music or an audio, the all in the Rodríguez doesn't advance and doesn't play anything. If you place an external device such as a Bluetooth headset or speakers, everything works perfectly.
Actually all this is very rare and it is happening to me after installing Lineageos 18.1.
I would appreciate the maximum help and collaboration to solve this problem.

What Rom do you have installed in your device?
I've tried stock KitKat, stock lolliop,Titan prime, cyanogenmod 12.1. Now i'm at stock lollipop. I think it's something like a driver problem. When i go into the service menue oft the moto g by tipping *#*#2486#*#* and test the speaker i cant hear anything. When i want to test the mic i get an error. Any app which needs audio has an error.

headphone jack problem
I come with that problem too. It result it's a conector problem like it is said in motorola formus:
Thank you for providing me this information. I have gone back to our developers and confirmed a couple things. There are 2 different standards for headsets AJH and OMTP: http://recapmycalls.com/faq-page/headset-standards-ahj-omtp/. The most common is the AJH standard. The Moto G 2nd Generation is only compatible with AJH headsets. The 1st generation Moto G was able to automatically switch between AJH and OMTP. The Nokia headsets that you have use the OMTP standard and aren't compatible with the new Moto G 2nd Generation. I hope that clears things up. Please let me know if you have any additional questions or concerns. I'll be here to help however I can.
I'll buy an adapter this week and see if it works. If anyone can confirm that with an adapter work let us know here. thanks

Moto G 2nd generation internal ear speaker not working

Hi guys:
I am contacting you as my Moto G 2nd generation (running android 6.0 with no custom ROMs) internal ear speaker is not working anymore. Until I'm able to find a replacement speaker, I was trying to use the Auto speaker app (sorry, I can't post links) in order to be able to answer calls using the external speaker and that works fine, but any time I get close to the phone while talking, the speaker ceases to work. The app has two ways of preventing the screen to go off when talking, but they are ineffective. Do you happen to know an alternate apps or an app that is able to leave the screen on while talking?
Thanks in advance.
Hi there,
I will move your thread in the correct forum dedicated to Moto G 2nd for more relevant answers.
Good luck

Moto G6 Inband ringtone?

Hello. Does Moto G6 support inband ringtone? I cant get my bluetooth headset to play my set ringtone. All i get is the headsets own low volume beeps. There is an option in developer settings, but it dont stick. Every time i go back in developer settings, its turned off.
Ive tried with another phone so i know the headset support it. Isnt Oreo suppose to support inband ringtone? Thats why i bought the Moto G6, and set my G5 aside. It sucks bigtime... Does anyone know, please help me??
Read this, maybe it will explain your problem to you:
https://www.gizmochina.com/2017/08/11/band-ringtone-support-coming-android-devices-via-android-o/
If I understood correctly then you need to have a Sony headphones with built-in LDAC.
Strange.... The "Marshall bt monitor" headset worked fine whith inband ringtone when i tested it on a Samsung S7. If im not mistaken the LDAC just reffered to the higher bitrate, not the the feature itself. .?
@MrsBabar
Many people have reported this problem on Android Oreo and not just on Motorola phones. I have not seen a solution, I can not turn on the moto g6.
Yes, ive seen that. So its just a bug, its supposed to work in G6.... Hope they can fix it in next update..
How hard can it be? Ios had it for 8 years ....
Thanks for clarification.

Thank you for your replay. I'm trying to stream an audio clip through the system on voice call. Means when I am in phone call talking to someone, I can play a short audio clip that can be heard by the other party too. The project is for personal purpose, it means only me that can be using that option, so I can root my device or make a custom rom, I just need to know how i can do that things
Thank you

you shouldnt need root to have an apk play audio at the push of a button while on a phone call at the same time
I also search for this feature.
The best would be, if it would be possible to play internal Audio directly via the Voice-Uplink (this is the Audio which goes to the other person), and the Speaker.
Is it possible to Mix the Voice-Uplink Channel, to contain the Microphone input (the Voice) and the Media Audio-Channel?
(That's like the "Stereomix" on Realtek Audio-Cards on PC https://www.google.com/search?safe=...i29i30j0i10i30j0i10i203j35i362i39.7TvHA0zwoeQ)

this is what i was expecting android to do automatically, and in many cases it does it seems. I was reading about this a bit last night and saw where people were indeed able to play something on the speaker of their phone and have the very same phones mic and play on the phone call for both parties to be able to hear. It was a native in the phones where users reported this ability. It was even reported to work on some older samsung phones. I still have a S4 and could test it out, if i remember to do it (my license plate says IFORGOT). @AthieN this is the thread i was talking about

So basically, they told me that they used to record uing Tinyalsa library (tinycap exactly), but they couldn't do it with samsung S10, when I search I found that there is not tinyalsa included in that phone. So I was wondering if I can add it directly to the system or I have to make own rom for that ?
I hope @AthieN can give us hint on that. Thank you both of you for your help

That's seems a good idea but idk if applicable to android devices or not
Sorry for the late reply. This used to be possible, but not since API 20 or 21 due to security concerns.
