Official A13 ROM is here: https://www.asus.com/mobile/phones/zenfone/zenfone-8/helpdesk_bios/?model2Name=Zenfone-8
Just pick the correct firmware and follow the instructions.

I just received OTA 33.0210.0210.269 after checking for the update manually.
1. Updated Android security patch to 2023-03-05
2. Optimized System Stability
3. Provide a press-and-hold trash can option to one-time dismiss persistent notifications

A sleepless Sunday night ? Updated!
Sent from ma OnePlus3
Has anyone tried to dirty flash OOS 5 over OB27 ?
Edit : dirty flash works and also magisk 14.3 :good:
Battery seems a lot better to nougat, no more random wakelocks. Not sure I like the quick tiles but otherwise a nice update!
Hey, can anyone please help me with the installation? I cant install it using the latest official TWRP as well as latest BluSpark TWRP.

On the latest bluspark TWRP all is good. Come on.
I went from OB 27 to Stable 4.5.1 just to download the full zip.
After that updated to 5.0.
It's pretty straight forward.
On other news, I have asked about this on the 3T thread as well.
I had already found this quirk on OB Oreo, was truly hopping that the stable would have this as ok as it should.
Can anyone confirm that Google drive backup has this information?
It's under settings/backup & reset/Google account
and it for sure shouldn't look like this.

I tried with the latest TWRP, but it gets stuck half the way. I waited for 20 minutes, it was stuck.
Bluetooth audio codecs can't be changed from Developer options. Oxygenos clean install Oreo
Wonder why
Was on Open Beta 27 with Blu_spark's twrp and r206 kernel.
- Downloaded full OOS 5.0 rom zip
- Flashed stock recovery
- Did local upgrade via the System Update
- reflashed blu_spark TWRP
- SuperSU 2.82 SR5
- reflashed blu_spark's r206 kernel
Profit

I'm on OOS 4.5.1 with TWRP and root. When an update comes out, I usually just wipe cache/dalvik, flash the full updated ROM and flash SuperSU, all using TWRP. Since this is a major update going from Nougat to Oreo, is it still OK to use this method?
What about Android system notification? I can't get rid of it.
Edit: found a "solution". I've Installed an app from G play called Hide running in the backgroud...Apparently, this is an Oreo issue present in any device.
PS: I'm not the developer of that app

Either wait for 8.1 or use an app to hide it.

Can you flash it using akhil narang twrp version?
Download quota for op3 full OTA exceeded
Someone Please put up fresh links for the Oreo 8.0 build, the OP's drive account won't let anyone else download
Anyone knows if this works for updating from old 4.x to 5.x:
1. Flash full zip from within TWRP (Oreo compatible one)
2. Reboot to recovery after flashing OS
3. Flash Magisk (14.3 beta I want to flash)
4. Whipe dalvic+cache
5. Reboot to system
That's how I updated my previous Oos updates (without the things between brackets)... Never had issues before and this way also didn't trigger the dm-verity warning. But I see so many people having issues during open beta I rather be sure before I try...

Welcome to the new thread of twrp flashable stock Android One for Mi A1
There will be only stable TWRP flashable builds of stock with no modifications.
All these builds of mine contain everything which a fastboot ROM does, so it's a complete replacement.
How to install
1. Reboot to TWRP (CosmicDan TWRP is recommended)
2. Wipe system, data, dalvik and cache. (if coming from a custom rom) (you may skip if coming from stock)
3. Install the ROM file.
4. Reflash TWRP installer (if you want to have TWRP installed in your phone later).
5. Install Magisk (if you want to have root).
6. Reboot to system.

Hey, can you share how you get the full source? like from MI official site or from Google directly? Do you mind sharing how you able to find the direct link to the full stock ROM of October security patch for Xiaomi A1 global?
I can't find it in official MI and I like to "Take bug report" to locate the OTA link that it tries to download and manually unpack the payload.bin, but Magisk seems can't patch the boot.img

I just had payload file from official google OTAs which I decompiled using python codes and made a twrp flashable zip that just works well and yeah, I'll keep it up to date. You all will get TWRP flashable stock within a day of OTA release but only for stable versions.

I do get the payload.bin and able to extract the boot.img, but how you recompile into a full version? the payload.bin from Septemeber patch to October patch is 200 MB++ while the TWRP flashable stock you provided is 1.1GB, how you recompile it?

Payload bin from September to October is different from payload bin of October OTA as a full package. Also, I used kitchen + wrote updater script to flash it in A/B partition device (A1 in this case) using TWRP.
Too many people have downloaded the filee?
So you cannot access the file
Showing this on download page!!!

It is fine for me. Same as in other roms. On a side note, if you want more than official then flash a custom kernel e.g moun/franco and manually increase it.

Questions about the official Q Beta Program

Hello everyone! So recently I got a Mi 9 and I have some questions about the Beta Q update, so here I go.
-If I update it via the official website (no flashing or anything like that), will I be able to come back to 9.0 Pie or do I have to wait until the official update?
-Do I even get the official update, and if yes, will it still be stock Android or MIUI?
-Is it worth getting the Beta, or are there still many remaining bugs?
-Can I unlock my phone from the beta and install TWRP?
Thanks for your help in advance!
HI, to install the android q official beta, you must have the chinese version of the mi9 if your phone's bootloader is locked. I
f you install it, it's not recommended to come back to android pie.
If you are in the official xiaomi beta program, you will receive the official miui ota updates. The beta versions are stable, but there are some issues. For example some apps may not work as expected, like magisk that give root access hardly.
You can unlock your phone from the beta and install twrp.
I hope that this will help you.

Hello, sorry for this noob question. For sideloading (TWRP), what's the installation instruction?
I think this version is only for BETA TESTERS because I download and try to flash and I can't, always got different errors, so if you are registered in Mi Pilot sure you can flash, I have locked bootloader ...

GSI Installation Guide?

Since Android 12 Beta 1 dropped earlier today, I was thinking if anyone managed to flash it successfully? Ever since Android 11 Beta last year, I never managed to boot, always stuck in android logo bootloop. I've tried numerous guide but I probably missing a few steps here in there.
Anyone managed to flash successfully please kindly share your step by step guide, thank you very much!
