[Q] error updating to lollipop (solved)

Details:
moto x purchased from web site, for use on Tmobile
i'm currently deployed. Lucky enough to have WiFi on base and T-mobile so communication home this deployment has been amazing. Saw lollipop came out today. downloaded it. installed it. phone boots up with the regular "TOMMYBOT Mobile" and then the spinning M worlds. then it gives me the password (for the decryption). it took a min and then said some error about corrupt files and that i needed to factory reset my phone. so i pressed the button and nothing happened... so i powered down the phone. and then everything started up the same. but when i put in my password to decrypt it takes a minute and then says starting android.... and then the screen goes black. tried 5 times. longest i waited was 30min. (left it over night now, so 6 ish hours)
i can start my phone pressing the power and volum down and it brings up a fastboot menu? but even from there the factory reset option just boots my phone back up as if i pressed the power button.
any help is appriciated.
thank you,
tom
Edit: followed these instructions (cant link, motorola global portal)
and a matching youtube video and i get stuck at the dead android with the triangle "!" sign mine says "No command." under him and i cant get the next menu to open
asked for help here (link motorola forums help) they suggested verizon assistant app. the program
i've treid 3 times now. each time the start repair makes a command "getvar all" come up on the bottom half of my fast boot screen. and then thats where it stays. the "Repair" button on the right does not become clickable.
Solution:
once on the dead android screen to open the next menu it was press and hold volume up AND power for 3-5 seconds together .
from there i did the data wipe/factory reset and booting up i'm already on lollipop. of course all un clouded data lost but i'm just glad to have a phone again.

PLEASE HELP with my XT1049 won't turn on

My Moto X was working fine until I tried to attach a pic in a message through Chrome and it kept showing me an error that Chrome has stopped working, so I decided to reboot the phone. First, it was rebooting non-stop, after 20 min of optimizing apps it would start all over again. I let the battery drain with that. The phone was off, I turned it on and now it wouldn't go past the starting screen (with Moto logo and graphics), after that it goes completely black. I can access Fastboost mode but after I pick any of it (recover or regular reload or even factory recovery) it shows a logo for a few seconds and then goes black. All I need is to recover my photos and videos from it? Any advice? Please help!

HTC One M7 Bootloop - No Safe Mode

Hello!
I have an issue with my HTC One M7; today it restarted itself and I saw in the display "android updating - apps starting" (or something to that effect, it's in german). I tried to force restart with pressing of PWR-Button but as far as I remember nothing happend (that was just in the crazyness of the workday so I'm not quite sure and didn't have a proper look).
Later then I wanted to charge the mobile again and start it but nothing happened; I just saw the HTC logo on white background and then the Vodafone logo appears, it freezes and restarts again; sometimes is already freezes at the HTC logo.
Just before it went further, it kinda booted, the "android updating - apps starting" appeared again (battery was ~40%); after 30-40 minutes the mobile was off again; starting went as far as the HTC logo and then black again; I connected the charger there were only 3% left.
HBoot / FastBoot / Fastboot USB I can access
When I chose Recovery it takes longer than usual till the menu appears; at first I see a mobile with a red question mark in the display until the menu appears; when I chose "wipe cache partition" it also takes unusually long until after the deletion I'm back in the menu.
A month ago I already some issues with the bootloop; back then it stated far enough that I could go into safe mode; I deleted nearly all apps and since then it worked again. Although I get an error when trying to get into the settings.
Does anybody have an idea? Is it possible to rescue the mobile or the data? (I think I have backed up most but not the recent texts)
Thanks in advance.
Flash proper RUU to check if it is a hardware or software problem. This is the only and the most effective method to repair the phone.

Find Device Closed Unexpectedly

Hi guys,
Suddenly my Xiaomi mi 8 is stuck in an infinite loop.
It starts as normal, I can enter password, and after 3 seconds a message appears 'Find Device Closed Unexpectedly', then the screen goes black and the MIU logo is shown.
And I can enter the password again.
The phone is locked, and I can't unlock it because I can't attach it in the developer options (i don't have enough time, as the home screen closes suddently after 3 - 5 seconds).
Thanks in advance for your suggestions.
So.. finally I fixed it!!
That's how :
Do this loop until fixed:
1. Restart the phone, so you have 3 to 8 seconds available
2. Uninstall an app
Do it again and again until phone works again.
Hope this helps other people!
