Helping porting OmniRom to this device (newbie): Bq Aquaris M5

My device have an almost pure AOSP rom by stock with some changes made by the brand. This is the source :https://github.com/bq/aquaris-M5/tree/aquaris-M5_4.x

As you know, there are a lot of firmware for our device. and in this post I would like to discuss together with other users what kind of firmware is the best, in terms of stability and power consumption. If you have information on good firmware EUI / CUSTOM firmware on the basis of androyd 7 and above, then share with us your experience of using the firmware and discuss them together. Let's make our device better !

There are no EUI based on Android 7.
But there is good custom ROMs on Android 7: LOS14, CarbonROM, AICP
I use Carbon on my X527, it works best.
And I cant say there are lots of ROMs for Le 2

Is camera stable in CarbonROM nougat ? Any quality issues? What about battery life?

Best rom for Mi A2( Android 10)

Hello friends I've used many roms but I'm not sure which is the most stable and bugfree rom for the A2.
Could anyone suggest me a good rom?

I think MIUI is a good rom but if you don't like it, DerpFest is very good for me I use it.

I like Pixel Experience-Fan Edition

Floko and CrDroid are very smooth.

Wifi is good with this rom?

I went to stock rom and root. I simply put on security updates switching to a backup of the boot partition and then back to magisk patch. I didn't find a significant difference on other custom roms, just cosmetic. The only only alternative is the miui rom (6x), but I prefer a flawless system. the only problem with the phone is the battery, too weak. I tried anu sort of firmware and kernel combinations but there is not a significant difference. So I went straight on stock.

None unfortunately, the mi a2 has bad WiFi.

I think crdroid is very good。

Evolution x or pixel experience
I would recommend the pixel experience rom , its stable and has a clean U but has little to no customizationI. I recently switched to evolution X and im getting the cleanliness of pixel experience, stability and customization so yeah.

There exist OnePlus6 and OnePlus7 ports on 4pda.
On 4pda there exist more Mi A2 ROMs than here on xda. The only problem might be that the website is in Russian language. No posting in other language allowed. But with Google translate you can surf in your language and find the necessary information without ever posting.

Answer TR: Tecrubelerime gore AOSP Romlar diger romlardan daha hizli kucuk ve daha stabildir. Oyun icin AOSP ROM oneririm. AOSP Romlarin icinde RRemix Pie romu uzun bir sure kullandim ve gayet stabildi. RRemix Pie kullanmani oneririm. Extradan magisk kurup Gaming modulleri kurabilirsin.
Answer EN: According to my experience AOSP Roms are more fast , small and stable than other roms. I recommend using AOSP roms for games. I used RRemix Pie rom for a long time in AOSP roms and it was very stable. I recommend using RRemix Pie. You can also install magisk and use gaming modules.

I wish more devs will get the Mi 11

Yh it is sad that the mi 11x has such a variety of ROMs but it's mainly due to the fact that it's more accessible as it's half the price of the mi11.

Personnaly i'm not waiting so much Lineage or Other ROM until there always a looooot of bugs (especialy data or APN) and by experience we back always to a stock rom or custom stock rom for stability.
I had root/test a lot ROMS on all my devices since 2012, now i'm done, and MIUI 13 arrived.
