Question My s21 ultra keeps freezing and crashing after I flashed rom - Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra

I have a s21 ultra from at&t and my phone never receive an update, so i flashed a similar firmware but it is from USA cellular, after a few hours, my phone starts freezing and restarting when I try to use Facebook and messenger. It went like this for a week. And all of a sudden, it stops freezing and restarting. My phone works perfectly normal for a month. After a month, I restart my phone because I didn't restart my phone for a month(unconsciously) and my phone suggest to restart it. After I restarted my phone, it starts to randomly freezing and restarting. Sometimes, almost all apps are crashing. Sometimes, my camera won't work. Sometimes, system ui is crashing. Sometimes, it is crashing before rebooting is finish. Is there a way to fix this? (Sorry for my english)

Find Right Firmware With Model number and your mobile carrier. Your model number Ends with "U" (SM-****U) It should be Locked with mobile Carrier as at&t, therefor you need to find exactly correct Firmware. Meybe you can try Unlocked Firmware, It can be worked.

StkAppService - com.android.stk restart loop?

Hello people, first post
I have this little problem that's been bothering me with my new O2X.
When restarting my phone, the SIM Toolkit service, StkAppService - com.android.stk, pops up in service manager, and seem to be running fine. After a while though, the service seem to get stuck on "restarting".
Haven't quite been able to lock down when/why. Seems to be connected to extended periods in sleep, or playing games, but this could be just random.
When shutting down the service manually, everything seems to be just fine, and it won't come back until I for some reason restart the phone again, then it it'll be back to working fine, and after a while stuck on "restarting" again.
Is this something I should care about at all? Just seems to me that having something stuck in a restart loop (could just take a really long time, not 100% sure it's actually looping yet) would drain my battery.
So, to the point. Could this be a fault of the phone itself (making it a warranty case), a bug with Android 2.2 (wait for 2.3) or an issue with my service proivider (in witch case I'll contact them)?.
Been unable to find the answer on my own, and this is my first Android-phone, so I consult you, the wizards.
Update:
Checked with a friend of mine who bought the O2X at the same time as me, and he also has StkAppService stuck on 'restarting'.
And the phone glitched out and refused to fall asleep by itself today. Restart fixed it though, haven't happened again.
Another Problem with STK
My problem with STK is another one:
I have two SIM-Cards installed in a dual-SIM-Card adapter. So with stock ROM switching between both cards via STK works fine.
Now I tried several CM7-based ROMs, but with all ROMs I receive the following error massage when switching to the other SIM (translated from German to English):
We are sorry! The process com.android.phone has been unexpectedly terminated. Pleas try again later.
After that, I can enter the PIN-code of my SIM and it is activated. I´m not able to switch back, when I tap on the app-icon it switches back to home-screen.
Any solution for that? (sorry for my bad English...)
Hi,
two years alter, I am facing the same issue, and XDA developers apparently are not working on including proper STKs with custon 4+ Android Roms.
It's a pity

Samsung galaxy tab s2-T815 HELP!!!

Okay, so I recently brought this tablet only last week and up until a week it randomly started freezing on different apps and force closing them! So I ended up checking to see if it was a software bug and checked if the tablet needed an update but no luck there as the tablet kept giving me an error unable to download latest update for no reason at all! So I decided to use sammobile which I have used before in the past for my Samsung s6 so I know how it works and I found the latest update for my tablet on o2 as it's locked to o2 and I realised my tablet was on an older firmware so I downloaded and flashed the new firmware. Once it was done it loaded up as normal I signed in to all my apps and for a couple of hours it was fine until I suddenly placed it down to charge and it randomly rebooted for no reason so I picked it up to check it and now sometimes when I open up Facebook or app store or anything really sometimes they work and sometimes they say they have stopped! For example "unfortunately Google play store has stopped" and once one of them says it's stopped the rest stasrt randomly popping up saying they have stopped and I can't literally touch the tablet because it keeps popping up so I have to reboot the tablet! I have tried factory resetting with no luck it works for a while after resetting but starts again! PLEASE HELP! I ONLY RECNTLY BROUGHT THIS NEW!!! SO SHOULDNT HAVE ISSUES!

Maybe a FullWipe could help and re-installing the original Samsung Rom. So you could try to flash the TWRP-Recovery from where you can go ahead:

Thanks every thing is sorted now apart from I get an error when checking for updates it tells me there is a network or server error? I have tried factory resetting and wiping again but can't sort it!
Never experienced this. Sorry

(Problem) S5 G900A keeps restarting

Hi guys. This issue just started happening a couple of days ago, it started when I was playing games (phone wasn't hot) then it turned off by itself. My battery was still at 80% so I turned it back on, after it started saying "starting apps" it turned off again and the phone is now constantly rebooting. It doesn't seem to be bricked at all as it sometimes boots to the menu but when i start tapping on an app it shuts off and does the constantly rebooting issue again. It could be a hardware issue which means I'm gonna need to send my phone to the service center for a repair but one thing that makes me think there could be a way of fixing this without paying a technician is, when i boot to download mode, it doesn't do its constant reboot issue. I was even able to flash a firmware via Odin but when the phone started to boot after firmware installation, It did the spontaneously rebooting in the middle of the boot process again. If any of you guys have any idea on how to fix this or if there's even a way to, Please help me. Thanks! Cheers!

Try flashing the experimental firmware from the rooting guide, and if that doesn't work then it is most likely a hardware issue, and I have a strong suspicion that it is.
If you have an external SD card, remove it and see if problems persist. Honestly that sounds like a firmware scrambled.

Freezes and restart... Died. What is the problem?

Hi guys since yesterday I have problems with my phone
the phone suddenly freezes over without being able to interact.
it restarts on its own but without ever starting the operating system in fact it shuts down and does not turn on again as if the phone had died.
the really strange thing is that the phone was fine Then suddenly he started making this mess.
Yesterday after so many hours of problems I managed to start the phone and now it works well but I am afraid that the situation will repeat itself.
the phone has the bootloader unlocked has root permissions, I followed the guides on this site.
But I have had this phone for two months now and these problems never occurred.
where can i start to understand what the problem is?
Mine suddently become all white, with the interface cut in half and moved up. i could do nothing. nor reboot nor shutdown.
after some minutes it turned back normal. i hope its color os bug and realme will fix it
It appears to be a firmware problem. We hope well.
Today did not give problems. This behavior is really strange, what can I install to understand the root of the problem?
I noticed that if the phone never goes into deep sleep mode the problem does not occur.
Now I am registering the log and as soon as the problem occurs again I go into detail to find out the real reason.
I'm trying to create an automatic script that is launched on the boot that practically never makes the phone sleep.
i'm really desperate the phone started to reboot itself.
I would like to try using a system log recorder but I realized that when I restart the phone these logs are not saved so it is impossible for me to verify the reason.
Can any of you help me out?
the phone freezes and then restarts.
Did you achieve any solution ?
No. I'm disperate.
Why don't you flash stock fw /recovery? Just to make sure it isn't an Hardware problem ?
I try but have this problem

@westenlive
The problem appears only when you use data connection right?
If you try to switch off data and use wifi , you will not notice
The problem is because of the the operator, try another sim provider
Yes, in fact, that could be the problem because a few months ago removing the SIM card the phone did not give more problems
maybe you gave me the solution. I'll try

I am now testing the LINEAGE it happened to me this I removed the SIM card and I installed the costum Rom, I made the various customizations and the phone never locked OR restarted.
I inserted the SIM card in the phone worked perfectly, then having messed up with luckypatcher I had to reinstall the Rom.
So I performed the same procedure with the SIM card inserted in the phone and already at the first start it was unstable with reboots.
Currently I have applied for a change of sim card.
As soon as it arrives I will try to remove the sim card Install from scratch The system is to insert the new SIM card only so I can have the mathematical certainty that it is the SIM card
I hope my experience can help someone
This problem seems true, my X2 Pro also faced same issue when enabling cellular data. The phone sometimes loses the signal or the app freezes and perform a phone reboot. X2 Pro is a mid-range flagship phone, and yet this problem should be solved before they start to sell the phone.
Yes this device has many software problems but hardware problems of this kind are not acceptable.
Practically mine has become unusable, as soon as I turn it on after a few minutes of use it start closing the apps by itself.
Then after AN intende use of 30 minutes it start to restart.
This phone is truly incredible

Android 10 and a lot of bugs

Hey. So I've the h8416 version of xz3, I updated to android 10 and have a host of issues.
I randomly get no SIM card and no service messages, up to about 30 times a day....this also disconnects the WiFi too.
As well as that I get random freezing and the phone reboots a number of times a day. Even when the phone isn't in use it happens.
Does anyone have any fixes or have solved these issues?
I've factory reset the phone to no avail and it keeps happening still.
Thanks.
I have a 8416 and running android 10 May 2020 build with no issues..
I know this is a bit late but... Back up all your data and all your phone, Install Xperia Companion and do a "Software Repair" ... this wipes the phone entirely and basically re-installs the SONY OS as it would be OOTB... Also back up your SD Card and once the phone has the new software on it.. wipe the SD Card in the phone and try it all again..
Good luck!!
