Hi,
I have a qualcomm Galaxy note 20 ultra 5G. I want to activate LTE+ carrier aggregation for Europe.
It seems that needs band combinations to LTE RF files. Can anyone help with any nvrf file which I can add through QPST tool.
Also I have learned that I can change the hex value through QXDM but I dont have this tool.
Thanks

Hello all,
I recently changed my phone carrier, and I noticed phone doesn't go in LTE+ mode anymore. Apparently, the phone is able to aggregate band 3 and 1, which was the combination my previous carrier was using, but not 3 and 7.
I read a bit around, and found out some useful discussion here:
http://en.miui.com/forum.php?mod=redirect&goto=findpost&ptid=392070&pid=10016974
which gave me the opportunity to understand how to set the carrier aggregation on different bands, and avoid to add any combination on band 7 which apparently isn't managed properly.
So, I used QXDM to change the nvram values on band 3 CA (default is 5, which is band 3+1 aggregation), and my phone was able to aggregate 3+7 bands, but that leads to a loop between LTE+ and LTE, which ends with phone in H.
After reverting the changes, phone goes normally in LTE.
Is there any way to enable Carrier aggregation on Mi 5, on combinations not originally present in the firmware? Or does Mi 5 lack the hardware to do so?

I dont really have the technical knowledge, but if you look at some of band 1 configs, there's a few values that are set for carrier aggregation that are not set for other bands. I think we need to configure a few more things than just enabling the CA values. Been trying to figure this out for some time. Too bad i don't have any other phone with proper ca support to compare
does the *#*#717717#*#* only works in MIUI ? currently using OMNI rom

There are some, only usable one in Italy is on band 3, it aggregates 3 and 1, but is really rare operators use this config.
You can enable the engineering mode with adb
Hi I am an user of a Nokia 7 Plus TA-1062 wich in the documentation says it supports Band 3 LTE (1800) https://www.phonemore.com/nokia-7-plus-4gb-ram/specs/3918.
Today I puted a Movistar SIM card wich in my country supports the Band 3 LTE, but my Nokia only gets 3G.
I don´t know if I have to enable something or whats is happening?
Can anyone helpme?
I can't seem to get it working on my Red Magic 3. I've tested using my rooted phone with the app "Network Signal Guru".
I've heard of several Chinese Android manufacturers disabling it, even if the chipset supports it, like Xiaomi and Lenovo. I hope Nubia isn't on that list either. It's a real shame if they decided to gimp the X24 modem in the Snapdragon 855.
Are any other users able to confirm or deny this? Thank you!
Tmobile Speeds
I received the 3s yesterday, did a test on network.
Comparing network speeds against my galaxy s8 plus, the red magic 3s doesn't reach the mobile network speeds on my s8 plus.
S8 plus consistently is over 150mbps-250mbps in my house (Seattle WA)
Red magic 3s sit around 6mbps to 11mbps.
It shows i was on the same band (Band 4)
Possibly the device doesn't support carrier aggregation.
Could it have to do with carrier aggregation? I have decided to send it back for a refund.
If you have a second:
1) Overall thoughts on the device.
2) Does it support VoLTE ( does it drop to 3G in call)?
3) Have you called TMobile to see if there is anything on their end to fix it?
Thanks!
There is way to verify Carrier Aggregation support from 28874 file what could get from modem or get UE Capability Information message with NSG Premium.
I have instructions here: https://mt-tech.fi/en/how-to-get-4g-supported-ca-combinations-from-your-android-phone/#QPST
Could someone send file to https://cacombos.com/contribute so then i can list device to cacombos.com?
Hi everyone,
Recently upgraded from my old Moto G6 to M31. Not sure why Samsung has not activated CA on this phone due to which we cannot get 4G+ (but only 4G) which can improve net speed by using multiple bands at once. Even the 2+ year old Moto G6 had this feature active.
Any way to activate that to improve network performance?

I don't know if there is much todo for it because Exynos modem can't modify. But maybe it support Carrier Aggregation but not with combinations used in your carrier and that's why you don't see 4G+ /LTE+ icon on statusbar or on *#0011# Service Mode.
I have made instructions to check Carrier Aggregation support from modem logs: https://mt-tech.fi/en/how-to-get-4g...ions-from-your-android-phone/#Samsung_Devices . If you can get modem log there can then see if there is anything about Carrier Aggregation. If it support i will then list it to cacombos.com site where can check Carrier Aggregation supported devices and supported combinations.
Exynos 9611 does support Career Aggregation 3CA, most bands are supported, but Samsung has chosen to keep it disabled, it can be activated by a secret service menu, but we need to find out the correct steps, codes, and sequence to access that menu, Samsung service engineers have these codes.
Bro head over to m31 guide and discussion of carrier aggregation and let us solve this problem
Hi, any news about 4g+ issue on m31. I'm looking on net how to enable it.

is there a way to make the korean KT SAMSUNG s10 5g connect to 5g in europe? i have heard they can only connect to 5g in korea
best i ever get in europe is LTE+
how to enable n1 and n3 band on VN ROM v28 of samsung s10 5g phone ? Now in samsung band selection i see from Nr band these :Nr b5, Nr b71, Nr b77 and Nr b78 but i would need Nr b1 and Nr b3 !!!? Is there any way to activate it so that these two bands also appear to me ? I found out that my operator runs a 5g network on Nr b1 and Nr b3
