Hello
I have Xiaomi mi 11 global version with a 1 year warranty from the seller but I've read that the mi 11 series got an extra one year of warranty (2 in total) due to widespread board/wifi problems
So anyone can confirm this?

"Xiaomi introduced both the Redmi 6 and the Redmi 6A to the world back in June of this year. Similar to many of their other product launches, these devices were only available in China (and through various resellers). However, that changed just a few months ago when the Xiaomi Redmi 6, Xiaomi Redmi 6A, and the Xiaomi Redmi 6 Pro were all brought to India. These phones were initially launched with MIUI 9, which was based on Android 8.1, but have since been updated to MIUI 10".

Didn't see you already replied in my thread.
Hi, I decided to buy this amazing phone but somehow I am not able to find it in stocks in the EU. Did Xiaomi stopped its production or export to the EU? What would be the alternative? Xiaomi Mi 10 is more than twice expensive :/

Hi, has anyone had any success acquiring a replacement mainboard for this model? I've a model with a damaged board just outside warranty am looking to swap one in. Or are there any newer compatible models? Can't seem to find them anywhere. Thanks.
There are a few on AliExpress.
Here's one of them.

Thanks Robbo.5000 - that's a good price - 142 EUR after discount for 8/256 - do you know if there's any significant difference between the K20 Pro and the 9T Pro? I've seen the 8/256 9T Pro at https://www.aliexpress.com/item/1005001323155792.html but at 163 EUR - I wasn't sure if there were hardware differences or it was just geo target market.
There wasn't any hardware difference between the Chinese K20 Pro and the Mi 9T Pro. The only hardware difference that I'm aware of is the Indian K20 Pro does not have an NFC chip/coil. I would imagine that the Indian model would still have the same mainboard though.
Take a photo of your mainboard in the phone and send it to the seller your interested in and ask them to confirm what they are selling is the same as you are replacing.

Thanks for the details, and the suggestion.
I am between the OnePlus 9 Pro (Global Version) and the Mi 11 Ultra (China Version). Do you guys think I should buy the Mi11? Is it worth the hassle? It also seems that even in this forum, the Mi 11 isn't that famous so it will be difficult to find a good ROM etc.
I used both, go for Mi 11 Ultra (China Version) much better in everything.
Hardware I'd rather the mi 11 ultra
Software id rather the op9 pro
Would be great to get the best of both worlds
Hi ,
I am looking to change my Realme X2Pro, I think it is time, I pre ordered this when it was released in Nov 2019.
I was waiting for the 12 Ultra but it seems it won t be released before summer. I am based in Ireland.
Would you rather pay a 1000 Eur and get a Mi 11 Ultra now or spend 600 only and get a Mi 11 just to change my old phone, with a view of getting a 12 Ultra later on the year
The prices are from Wondamobile, one of the few who guarantee a factory sealed box and no custom fees.
I d love to hear your opinion, thanks!
D.
I was also going to buy 12 Ultra but chose to go for 11 Ultra instead. The reason for this is only small changes, better price and heat from the new cpu.
