please i really need help i tried everything my nokia lumia 925 (RM-892) is hard bricked. When I plug it into my pc, the logo flashes and is recognized as a "USB device" then when it has enough battery the logo no longer flashes and the phone vibrates. I can restart by holding down the power button and volume down it vibrates but the screen is still black. I have already tried the methods with Thor2 or others please help me and try to be clear in your explanations. if you have any questions I will answer you.

I have a nokia lumia 521, sim card as SD card are both removed. I was using the phone and then it just died on me (I assumed it was out of battery). I then charged the phone up, which greeted me with a "Nokia" logo and then a blue screen with a smiley face on it. I tried holding down the volume button, and for the first time it worked (Exclamation Point) and I did the keys to get it to format, but it just restarted. After that, I can't get it to go in to ("insert the name of the mode") to do a factory reset. If anyone has any tips or a solution to this, it would be gladly appreciated thank you.
you can try with Nokia Software Recovery Tool

Hello all,
I'm not literate in tackling troubleshoot issues with my phone, however, after a couple of months now trying to resolve my phone issue I turn to you for help. My XT890 (Razr-i):
is stuck on the Red M logo
A green light flashes when I plug it in to either the main charger or the USB port on my laptop; the M logo displays and the green light turns off
I've tried all the power button plus volume combinations - the phone turns off, vibrates and returns to the default M logo
When connected via USB, the phone is not detected (Not in Device Manager, RSD lite (6.1.4), USBDeview)
I've tried many suggestions in these forums, however, without access to boot menus on the phone via the button combinations or access to the phone via USB, I'm at a loss as to what I can do
I acknowledge I do not provide much technical information. If you can help with any suggestions I'd be delighted to hear from you.
Many thanks.
Been dealing with the same issue once two weeks ago and now again tonight - only difference is that 2 weeks ago I could only get as far as the motorola icon but now make it as far as the intel icon.
Try the buttons again.
Hold down vol down first and keep it pressed until the very end of the procedure, then press and hold the power button till phone reboots.
When you feel the vibration let go of the only the power button.
As soon as the menu appears you can let go of the vol down button.
This has worked for me every time.
No harm to have the phone connected to a charger while doing this as the battery has been draining
When you get into the boot menu leave the phone in that state till the battery is charged enough to reset it
Other threads and people are more knowledgeable about that than me.
Pretty sure my phone or some part of it is starting to fail at this stage - about 2.5 years old now, as It got a factory reset 2 weeks ago

Guys, please note that the RSA works ONLY on win7 or lower.
I've tried a couple times on win8 and win8.1 and it had the same problem as you (no USB recongnition of the device) . I had to learn by myself that it works flawlessly on win7.
This is the thread that i solved my problem when using 4.1.2 (now im having the same problem with KitKat, it got stuck on the Intel logo).

Volume +power key maintained for 10 seconds I think. Try doing that for the phone to vibrate. If there is no good yield, perform the hard reset method. Search for that in the web, it's still a combo of buttons
Still not working, hmmm game over
Try this as well if all else fails: https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/help/12379/windows-10-mobile-device-recovery-tool-faq
Hi , since my previous phone just broke i was thinking of repairing one of the bricked lumias i have instead of buying a new phone. I chose the Lumia 535,and it seems it can come back to life even without JTAG. The MicroUSBPort is a bit faulty, but i can make it connect correctly by moving the cable to the right, but this is not the real problem it gives.
Here's the problem it gives:
When i plug the charger, the phone vibrates, does not display anything, and then restart and vibrates again each 40 seconds.
When i plug in a PC ,the phone vibrates exactly as it does on the charger but my pc:
First detects the phone as "USB Input Device" before it vibrates.
After the phone vibrates it is detected as QHUSB_BULK, then
when it restarts and vibrates again i hear the device unplug sound from pc
and it detects it as USB Input Device then QHUSB_BULK then it loops until i unplug cable/charger.
I tried(and failed):
To recover using WDRT Lastest Version, but it fails because the phone cannot be detected.
To recover using Thor2 trying to flash a ffu but. THOR2_NO_DEVICE_WITHIN_TIMEOUT.
Seems like there's hope using thor2 because i din't try reflashing bootloader/putting in red screen mode.
Please help me, i'm without phone now!:crying::crying:
Here's the story:
I was tried to unlock bootloader my lumia 925 by WPinternals. When it was about 31% app crashed and exit, I tried restarted app several time. but it still crashed. I held the power button to turned it off and when I reconnected the phone nothing happened pc not shown any new connected device and the windows button on the phone keep flickering. When I hold power button or any combine button the phone just vibrate and the screen just black. I've tried every flashing method but my pc not recognized so nothing worked. So what can I do to my phone. Is there any how to make my pc recognize the phone.
Thank for reading and help .

First of all you should try to charge the 925 for several hours. Normally, a lightened Windows button indicates a completely drained battery. It will take quite a while until at least the charging symbol appears on the display. Later on you will see if you arrive at QSB in Device Manager or if you can return to flash mode.
Best wishes,
Joachim

I tried and charged it for almost a day but nothing happened, my computer still couldn't see it.
try using windows device recovery tool..
it same happened with me and I used WDRT and it detected my device..
Dude... You have a dead-boot lumia.
Solution: JTAG (cuz my method of unbricking dead-boot lumia is not working, boots to QUALCOMM Modem Mode)
