Well this is a very old thread, but still I am posting in here, so as to be in touch for any future opportunities.
I have been working on Android application development since 4 years, and looking for any such freelance opportunities.

Hi all,
Does anyone have any suggestions regarding device to run Android Auto in my car? I'm looking to replace the stock 2 din unit.
I've long been installing different flavours of Android on my devices since the HTC TYTN II days, i'm looking for a device with good XDA community support
Thanks
Hello,
A very close friend of mine has a Volkswagen T4 fitted with a combined radio and GPS running Android 5.1.1.
Here are the information I've got :
On the back side of the device there is a sticker stating "DaZhong" Model WC made in 2016.
There is an hardware screen stating that it is fitted with an Intel Atom 4 ? something in Chinese ... and a GPU MALI 4D MP4.
My friend is fluent in mechanic but fresh on Android and electronics in general....
He would like to know as much as he can about this device and how to update the GPS maps, or turn on the RDS info in the FM radio (if possible).
I could not find any information about this. So all the help you can give me would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks a lot in advance for your help !
Sorry but I have no information about this device

Good day, fine folks at XDA!
My name is Charles Schultz. I picked up my first Android device the summer of 2021, a cheap Umidigi A9. Their support absolutely sucks! However, they also sent me an additional A9 for free, so I am happy to give rooting a try since I have a spare device.
My biggest problem right now is that the A9 does not support ASHA and streaming to my hearing aids (Jabra Enhance Pro). The Jabras seem to only be compatible with devices that have Bluetooth 5.0 and greatere (check), support for BLE (check), and ASHA ( ). From what I have read so far, Android 10 and up provides support for ASHA, so I have to infer that Umidigi has not baked ASHA support into their branded version of Android. I have been asking them for quite some time for help, but Umidigi support is REALLY BAD(tm).
I am an IT professional who tinkers with various languages and feels quite at home with Linux. Rooting an entire Phone OS seems very daunting, but also exciting at the same time. I am anxious to dip my toes into the XDA waters.
Thanks to all of you who help make XDA such a rich resource for the rest of us.
