I restored the imei (I tried with Two and with One restored imei) And the phone is either out of the zone and does not receive calls / messages. If you rearrange the SIM card to any phone and make a couple of calls and then rearrange it into your own, then he will be able to receive calls / messages + - for 10 minutes and then again falls into a coma. Since recently, the phone does not react at all to calls / messages, only occasionally the phone can start receiving messages

@Vikcalm Welcome to XDA! I hope you'll always get the support you require. However, I've closed this thread!
Edit or change of IMEI is illegal in quite a few of countries. For this reason, I've closed the thread! XDA doesn't allow and doesn't accept discussions about or support for such an edit or change.

Hi,
This is my first post in here, hope you can help.
I have a problem making a voice call while my phone is data connected(3g,E,H), I live in UAE, tried to call the emirates GSM Provider etisalat and after having a long discussion I found out that their system can't do voice while data connection is available because they can't count the SIM credits. I tried like a 10 different ROMs on both my HTC TYTNII and HTC Touch HD but with no luck. My question is:
Is there a tweak or registry Edit (For my Blackstone) that can disable the data upon dialling and re-enable it after hanging up. I want my phone to stay connected in order to use push mail.
Thank you
As far as I know, the data connection is automatically suspended whenever you make a phone call.
I also have problems but the other way round. I tend to be unable to receive calls (95% of the times) whenever my data connection is on. The other party gets an "out of reach" tone when calling me.
By the way, aren't we in the wrong forum? It's more like Blackstone general.
What I receive when i try to call while my Data connection is on is the following message "You don't have sufficient fund to proceed with the call" or something like that. I have no issues in receiving calls.
Hope some Seniors help us specially Dutty or Miri
Wrong Forum Area
This part of the forum is not supposed for discussing the problems of the device or the data plans of different areas or some functions as well, but to discuss about the new releasing ROM versions and their problems plus their updates. Better try the general area for these kinds of topics.
Thank You
Hi!
First of all, I don't know where to fit this post, since I'd believe it's more gingerbread related than Nexus, but on the Android topic only hacking/development/themes are mostly supported, so I don't know how appropiated would it be.
So, here it goes. I'm living in Hong Kong, and recently moved to a new apartment, where GSM coberture reception is poor to say it kindly. However we have a properly working cable provider, with internet access, and a wifi router configured. So my idea would be, as soon as the mobile detects the wifi, change into wifi mode, and send the calls through voip.
Could I still keep my phone number? I mean, if somebody calls, I'd like the call to be sent through voip, so I wouldn't loose coberture.
I THINK google voice does this kind of stuff, but I'm not sure...Never was activated for me. Well, to be honest, now it doesn't give me the "we are currently working with several providers from different countries" ****, it actually lets me in...to a very limited menu where I can't do anything
Anyway, I can't figue out how to set my number to work, so I guess it's still disabled somehow. In the meantime, I'd like to make this VoIP redirection work, is there an easy way? How would you guys do it?
Thank you!
How many times? Seriously? There is a freaking section called Q and A, and at the VERY top, FIRST thing in this forum:
DO *NOT* POST QUESTIONS IN THIS FORUM - only tips/info/etc.
Ops. Sorry. I didn't see the post. I guess that's why I was asking first where this post would belong to. IS there any way to move this to the proper thread? Or should I repost again?
Thank you!
Please, could anybody help me on this? Thank you!
So, I have a really annoying telemarketing company who is calling me on a semi-regular basis. I've already asked them to stop calling me, twice. I'm not really the kind of person to be stirring the pot and reporting them (too much work)...instead I would rather screw with them.
Since Google Voice allows me to have custom greetings for certain phone numbers, I would like seriously mess with whoever is calling me.
Does anyone have any ideas for what my greeting should say/be for my pests?
Inform them that they have lost the game, and proceed with a rick roll
Tell them that they've inherited £12,000,000 and you're a Nigerian prince that only needs their name, address and bank account details to send it to them.
Sent from my GT-I9100
Play a recording of a previous conversation with them?
I ran across this one which sounds good.
"Another good one is to start your answering machine message with the phone company phone number error/disconnected tones and then continue the message. It tricks the computer doing those auto-dial/automated message calls to delete your number from the list and stop calling you."
"Hello, you have reached the Transgender hotline. We're sorry we're not able to take your call at this time, but one of our agents will call you back on this number as soon as they are available. We see that you are a regular customer so you will be given priority over other callers. In the meantime you are welcome to browse our gallery of escorts at www.transgenderplaythings.com where we guarantee you will find a 'friend' who can meet all your needs!
Thank you for calling, goodbye."
Let them explain that to their boss when it comes up in a routine review of their recorded calls.
As I have no sense of humour tonight I'm going to suggest that next time they call, demand a supervisor/manager and then tell them, very politely that they are ++++'s and you have no interest in their piss poor service. If they don't stop calling you despite your numerous requests then you will be left with no option but to take matters further.
Did I ruin the mood?
Good.
Carry on.....

You guys are genius!
Seriously, there are some good ideas in here. Keep them coming! Maybe I will put each of the messages on rotation and switch them out every once in awhile.
I am curious about the trick with playing the message of "this number has been disconnected...etc," I will use that one after I have tried out some of the others in case that one actually does the trick!
"Hello, 911 emergency, which service do you need?"
"errr, sorry i think i have the wrong number.."
"Sir, are you aware that it is a federal offence to misuse the emergency service line? Do you have an emergency to declare...?"
"..****, so sorry...i think i misdialled...bye.."
-I will keep this pretty simple because I was going insane over the last 2 days with my brand new HTC ONE acting sporadic on the network.
-On select models of Sprints HTC ONE there is a incompatibility update with Airaves latest push update especially texts and SMS. This issue could effect Samsung Galaxy Note II.
-Problems are as follows; not receiving calls, texts, mass floods of texts of the same message, and delayed texts. This will occur in out of Airave coverage range as you need to profile update depending if you have exited or entered your Airave coverage.
-This is a known Issue with versions 2.0 and 2.5 Airave boxes.
-If you have a similar issue or think your phone is not activated properly and are using an Airave device please call them at U.S. #1-866-556-7310.
-What is required is a MEID # change to your phone and a Profile update immediately there after. The tech will also update the Airave box.
-What I hope if any one else is was in my situation they can see this post and make the necessary call instead wasting 2 days of troubleshooting my phone rather than enjoying it. Also i do not work at sprint or have any affiliation with them. I am just a paying customer.
-If anyone else has experienced this problem or think they are please post if possible to get the word out.

Thanks for the links I did some searches earlier but I appreciate that. That usually happens when I can't find something I must be blind
Edit: I didn't see any mention of the MEID phone update in those threads so I will leave my Thread
Be aware: just calling 112 or 911 for testing purpose can be a criminal offence in your country
At the moment I am running the latest version of Resurrection Remix on my international M7 .
A while ago I needed to call the emergency services (112 in my country) but my phone immediately rebooted as soon as I press "call"
Now this is something only a very few of us will check but I'm curious if this could be an underlying problem of custom Roms in general because; who the hell will test this after installation of a custom ROM?
Proofing my above point is the fact that a Google search ("phone reboots when calling emergency number") doesn't give a lot of answers.
what I tried:
calling any other 3 figure number will work. In my country Portugal there's a number for forest fires 117, it worked.
I tried a few other dialers and also tried changing the default settings for the dialer (phone app).
I also tried to call 112 after start up, when the pin screen tells you "only emergency calls". It had the same result: reboot.
Perhaps some readers are willing to test this on their phones and report back? If your phone doesn't immediately reboot: cut off the call and all should be good (I guess)
I read in another device's forum about people testing emergency numbers routinely. They said they explained to the operator that they were making the call to test software and that they didn't get in any trouble.
Your mileage may vary, of course.
Well, I test it as well but I'm quite sure that many countries around the planet made it even a criminal offence (ie the Netherlands)
@ Floborg: could you tell me which fora you read about testing? Some devs might give me hints why my phone reboots every time I try 112 or 911.
It was in the Samsung Galaxy Exhibit 4G forum on XDA (the Cyanogenmod thread comes to mind). Some of the old devs and testers are probably still active in XDA somewhere, but probably not in that old device's forum.
