I've been meaning to upgrade my micro sd card for some time, but haven't had the spare money to do so. Thanks to swagbucks, I can. Swagbucks.com is a search engine that pays you to use it! It gives decent results suitable for anything i need except when I'm using certain codes such as "site:www.xda-developers.com crawler9" to find anything about a particular topic (me) on a particular site. Anyway, you can run searches the way you normally would, and you win swagbucks occasionally for doing so. I have cashed in this week for several Amazon gift cards amounting to $70 I am putting towards a Lexar 32gb micro SD card. I'm attaching a picture of my rewards page as proof that swagbucks is not a scam. If anyone decides to join, please sign up using my referral link.
Eventhough this is not a scam, this breaches rule 11.

I don't know if this is possible or not, but I purchase the app Video Catcher + FLV, and it didn't work for the site I wanted so I got a refund. Within DAYS I got an attempt at a $1000.00+ charge on my card from AUSTRALIA!? And I'm in Oregon! Then two charges for what appears to be a large print TV guide at 27.98. Thankfully my bank denied the charge from Australia and called me about that and the other two charges. I had made a purchase on eBay but that was via Paypal and they don't have my card info, and that doesn't get passed to the vendor anyhow. I made a purchase on Amazon about a month ago from a company that appears to have a good standing so I'm thinkin' it's the company I bought this app from. Unless they don't get your CC info when you make a purchase from the app store, but my CC info is on my email receipt so?? Well the last 4 digits of my card are, but I'm not sure who got my info but these are the only purchases I made on it recently. If it's not the app, I have no idea how this happened but I did find other reports on Google of people getting fraudulent charges after installing some app on their phone. I know we'd all like to think this can't happen, but if you think that, what will you do when it DOES happen to you?
Interesting story here, not exactly what I've experience above but fraud in the market nonetheless

And HERE is an interesting thread about someone who experiences the same thing but with a card only used for the market.
Well Lots of people told me my Visa Debit Card would not work, so I just added it to my wallet 3 minutes ago and just bought an App (VPlayer Pro for 4.99 to test it out).
It said success and it said it will send me the link momentarily.
I live in Canada, And I have a TD Visa Debit Card.
I don't have a Real Credit card and thought I would not be able to purchase the Nexus 4 Without asking a friend to use his Card, turns out I should be able to now
Sure debit cards work. Not sure why it would be different for Canada. But I guess it could have been. I only use debit cards for these types of things. Just in case the info gets stolen. I only keep what I'm spending in the debit account.
Sent from my Nexus 7 using xda premium
I've used Visa Debit cards constantly on Google Play, so....
Google Wallet has supported adding all major forms of cards for many months now. Initially they didn't but this has been fixed and now they use a virtual mastercard that charges your own card when making purchases.
Oh okay, Because I added the same card months ago and it always never worked.
I took a shot at re adding the card and it worked perfectly
Ironically I forgot my CC's at home on launch day, tried to use my TD Visa Debit to buy the phone, twice, fail, recycled the CC info Google had hoping that they wouldn't ask for the digits on the back of the card...tense moments.
I'll have to test the TD card for an app purchase or alike.
Yeah once u add the card, buy an APP first so it goes through the system fine. After that you should be able to buy the Phone as long as you have enough balance in your acc.
what how did it work, i used my td visa debit to initially buy it didnt work, so used my moms credit card
This doesn't appear to me to have anything to do specifically with the Nexus 4.

This means 30 days of September + 20 days after 30 September to pay your bill in full, this means 30 Days + 20 days = 50 days credit period
So if you make a purchase on day 15 of your statement period, you’ll have 15 days remaining until your statement period closes, plus 20 days to make full payment.

Some OnePlus customers report fraudulent credit card charges after using company's official site
OnePlus is responsible for some great smartphones like the excellent OnePlus 5T, but it often makes headlines for the wrong reasons. The latest reported incident has seen several of its customers become victims of credit card fraud after shopping on the company’s official website.
It appears that some people who purchased items from the OnePlus site between October and December 2017 have found suspicious charges on their credit card accounts. While it’s always possible the credentials were stolen elsewhere, a few users say they were notified of the activity not long after using the website, and one person claims the only place he used his credit cards during the last six months was the OnePlus online store.
Following the reports, which also appear on Reddit, a poll was setup on the OnePlus forums. It shows that 63 people found fraudulent charges on their credit card accounts after a recent OnePlus transaction. 89 people had no issues, while 80 used PayPal.
A member of OnePlus’ staff has responded to this forum post, promising that the company’s customer service team “will look into it ASAP.” There’s still no official statement from the firm, so we don’t know exactly how many people might have had their credit card details stolen, but it doesn’t appear to be a widespread issue.
In June, OnePlus was once again accused of using code in its review units to manipulate handsets’ benchmarks. More controversy followed a month later when an issue with the OnePlus 5 caused it to reboot every time a user dialed 911. Then in October, the company was caught collecting sensitive user data without permission. November brought more bad news: a backdoor in many of the company's phones that granted full control of a device.

Thanks for sharing. Will be paying attention to how this develops.
The customer service team always says they will look into a reported issue ASAP. The response is basically meaningless.
Meanhwile the misuse of credit card data at OnePlus for about 2 months went official. Read about on German IT news sites.
There is more info in oneplus forums (cannot post the link, sorry):
One of our systems was attacked, and a malicious script was injected into the payment page code to sniff out credit card info while it was being entered.
Some users who entered their credit card info on oneplus.net between mid-November 2017 and January 11, 2018, may be affected.
