I created a 2.17 ROM that has the Calibri and Segoe fonts from Vista/Office 12 integrated in to ROM. If there's any interest I can upload it to the ftp. Other changes I made are the removal of the Good and Express mail stuff, added several of the Oregami themes that were posted in the Wizard forum, and added Omapclock. All of this has been added to the ROM - not extended ROM, but the actual OS ROM, so they don't take up storage space.
Oh yeah, I added about 15 .wav ringers I gathered. Mostly sound effects and various assorted miscellaneous standard cell ringers and whatnot and stuff. No 50 Cent or Beyonce ringers in this one, sorry. lol
I would definitely be interested!!! Does the omapclock auto overclock? or is smartskey still needed for that? Thanks for your continued support for us with the cingular devices.
May i also suggest some things like ms .net compact framework 2, and macromedia flash for ppc. I'm sure there are other things like this that would be worth embedding in the rom itself.
Definitely interested. Thanks.
Ok I'll say it just to get it out the way. If ya could sneak A2DP in it.
2.17 ROM for Cingular
Definitely interested. A2DP would be nice (I thought it was intrinsic to all 2.17, but shows you what I know...). Anybody have a link to a "ROM upgrading for dummies" string? I know why upgrades are good (especially with a Cingular device), but not completely sure how. I saw the 2 RUU .exes posted for Cingular and bookmarked them, but haven't pulled the trigger yet until I am more confident I know what I'm doing. I am willing, but somewhat naive. Thanks, as always.
yes, interested!
where is it already!?
Summiter I am MOST interested!
Thanks!
Steven
what are u waiting posted nice work
Hook a brother up!
Thanks in advance.
I'm interested!
Now if we can update the ROM to fix the "no vibe on standby" issue, that would be outstanding!!
AMG
Sounds good to me...Thanks!

Excellent! I'll give it a try!
One silly question thought fro future reference,
HOW DO YOU ACCESS EXTENDED ROM????
Always wanted to know!
Thanks

I'd be interested even more if you or someone could post some pics of the new fonts, themes in action.
I guess it's just me, but I HATE doing a hard reset (even if it's part of a ROM ugprade) because it's a pain getting the software back and tweaking it again to the way you like it.
So seeing the difference makes the decision that much easier!
i would love to see screenshots of this before i actually upgraded. also do a build based off the test qtek rom with A2DP
im definately interested.. and would like to see screencaps of the fonts you mention as well.. thanks!!
OK looks like there's interest. I'll upload a 217 based ROM when I get home in a couple hours. I haven't built a ROM with CF2 or anything else requiring complex registry entries yet, but I may look into doing so over the next few days.
Omapclock is in the Windows directory...it's up to you to create a shortcut and map to a hardware button if you wish. I may move it to the Program Files dir before I upload..haven't decided.
As for the themes, do a search for oregami themes in the Wizard forum and you'll find plenty of screenshots.
Oooohh. please...
First off I would like to give thanks for a GREAT contribution to the PPC community. It's people like you who make this a nice and interesting place/hobby/obsession to be.
I flashed my HTC 8125 with the 217 rom and love it.
I anxiously await your next product/upgrade.
Thanks
Kevin
im interested ....please let me know how
being new to PDA i thought i took a venture into this flashing rom business, found out it much easier than flashing and unlocking a phone. hehe. thanx for all your help on this forum lucky i found it.

Could anyone post the Calibra and Segoe fonts for download in their true type font format by themselves? I would love to have them and set up my shell to display them

Can you interpret the most important parts for us? (If there are any)
What I gather from my spotty mandarin, these guys managed to get their hands on an internal version of WM6 and have flashed it onto their devices.
Will read more and find out.
Managed to snag some photos by signing up at their forums...
Apparently its a chinese version of WM6 from Dopod...
This dude twinsdove mentions that WM6's speed is way better than WM5's...

It makes them sound really communistic. Haha.
Still, having a knowledge of mandarin as a second language helps a lot.
It'd be really nice to see WM6 on our BA's!!
Will we be seeing a release of the base OS so people will be able to create their own froms from this? (Sorry, but google is playing up and I don't have enough time to use babelfish and read everything in that thread).
Best of luck Winyong!
Nice to see more enthusiasts, but it is almost impossible to make crossbow works fine on blueangel (remember Motorola MPX200 and WM5) it will be something like this, but (there is always but) you will all have problems with porting crossbow core

The original thread does not exist anymore, I have no idea it was deleted by the poster or the Admin. of the site. Here is the new Link. You can download
18 rar files from it.

P.S. The Rom is for Wizard, Not BA.
@lukecheng - I can't seem to find those 18 rars. Could you upload them to the FTP?

http://msmobiles.com/news.php/5951.html
According to the *highly* ;-) reliable news source that is msmobiles.com, a universal rom has been leaked.
Looks like their highly patronising style of journalism strikes again, as the last time I checked came under the following category, but searching revealed nothing (EDIT until I went to Universal Upgrading forum) not that I have a Universal but was intrigued nonetheless.
"(but any Internet user who knows how to use search engines can find it easily)" - msmobiles
Am I right in thinking that if Crossbow ROMS turn up for other devices like Universal, then a port to BlueAngel is possible?
Hi all,
as most of you probably knows, today an alleged new WM6 rom from PDAVIET has been released.
Far from being 'new', this rom is nothing other than a copy of the leeked WM6 rom we all know plus a lot of 3rd party tools ripped off, without asking permission, from Faria's Aku3.3 rom. An evidence is in the image posted below, it has been found inside PDAVIET's rom but, if you look at the logo, you'll see Faria's name. This is only one of the many evidences i can give you.
Moreover, this rom includes many bugs and inconsistencies due to the indiscriminate mixing of WM5 and WM6 files.
That said, having long discussed the problem with Faria, we've decided to post this message to warn you against this rom and to make clear the following points:
1 - Faria is NOT involved in any way with this rom, the guys who prepared it or the site which originated it. Similarly, he is not involved with any of the WM6 roms you may find in this or other forums/blogs/warez sites.
The presence of documents and images containing Faria's name inside pdaviet's WM6 rom is due to the fact they "borrowed" some 3rd party software made or arranged by Faria himself. This doesn't imply any involment of Faria in the WM6 rom developing/publishing.
2 - The same can be said for all the other developers in this forum: Bepe, Molski, me and others. We are not in any way to be connected to any of the leeked wm6 roms out there.
3 - We, faria and me, strongly advise you against the use of pdaviet rom in your devices. By copying Faria's work and mixing WM5-only with WM6 files without even realizing what they were doing, pdaviet guys have proved all their incompetence in rom developing/cooking. That said, Faria DECLINES every responsibility for every problem you may experience by using his tools inside pdaviet's rom.
4 - Considering the irresponsible and illecit use of his work, Faria decided to stop developing/fixing applications for use in WM6 roms. For this reason, he won't publish anymore programs, fixes or workarounds for any problem/issue concerning any WM6 rom. The development will restart when and whether Microsoft will allow us to post WM6 roms in this forum.
Hoping for newer and better WM6 roms (and for MS's permission to use them ) we want to express you our best regards!!!
Bye bye
Well, I posted immediately upon trying their first attempt it was a botched job from the get go. Sad to hear that Faria is stearing clear of WM6 support but I can't blame him. He doesn't "need" us for anything. He's been doing an awesome job just helping us get up to speed where he already is.
Thanks for all of your help so far Faria. It is much appreciated and you've been very helpful. We will be anxiously waiting for a WM6 release from you and the rest of the gang.
-Mc
Ill wait too for your release of a rom
That will be a long wait probably never because they will only release the ROM when this condition is met:
"The development will restart when and whether Microsoft will allow us to post WM6 roms in this forum."
It's very unlikely MS will allow it
Ill still use the the leaked wm6 rom but will wait for a cooked rom from faria or
the other develepers in this forum that have done good roms.
PDAViet
I'd like to add that the reason to stay away from PDAViet's WM6 ROM is due to moral and ethical reasons of how they used Faria's work.
The actual ROM is considerably faster than the clean WM6 ROM. You need to change a registry key once installed to fix keyboard layout for english users.
It's a shame they released the ROM in such a devious way. If it didn't have Faria's work it would be worthwhile to install until such time as a better WM6 ROM comes along. It's definitely much more useable than the clean WM6 ROM which was doggy slow.
Also, I haven't noticed any additional bugs or inconsistencies other than the clean WM6 ROM.
look people..you can use any ROM you come across, that does not bother us,we got rules in the forum, and so we will obey by them.the xda has given me allot and i for one will only release ROM in here.i owe to the xda.of course that Microsoft will not say "yes u can release" a ROM that is not even in the market, but things will cool down.Microsoft asked us to remove the Roms from the ftp,and they did very politely.now should the site be shut down or sued because we want something that is not even in the market?
just give it a Little more time thats all we ask.

After installing and using the 3.3 ROM that you had a hand in cooking I will gladly wait til you can oficially/legally release a cooked WM6 ROM. I agree that it was wrong for PDAVIET to use your work without permission so therefore I would not use that ROM. I understand the time that you put into something just to have it abused. I have learned alot just by reading all these posts and searching through the forums. I have been a member for over a year and really dont post unless its something that I definetely need help with. I would rather find it on my own and understand what Im doing rather than just install something and be completely dumb to what I just installed. Thank you all who are willing to help us and explain.
Makes perfect sence not too rock the boat when theres still so much live in the NEW 3.3 rom you only released this week

I actually was going to download the ROM yesterday and came accross the same views. There are other files in their forum that originate from here.
My view is that if you know of a tool that can help your viewers, explain the tool and link it to the thread that you found the tool at. They did not do that. I do not read Vietnamese but some of the apps I saw there were just blatantly stolen from here.
@FARIA: I truely agree with you when you say that Microsoft has been real good with their attitude with Mobile ROMS. I love their attitude where they have actually been very cool with leaving developers and phone companies develop/change the ROMs according to needs. I truely believe and respect Microsoft for them asking the ROMs to be taken off the FTP and doing it politely. Like I said on my other post, Microsoft attitude has changed for the better and I Love it !
@ Faria, Molski,bepe, risidoro and others :

You guys have been great. Your solutions have truely helped me understand the WM. Without you guy's help, my learning curve would have been way higher. Keep on Keeping on Guys! Any help in reasearching or other you might need, please feel free to contact me.

@faria - thanks for everything sir. i will patiently wait for the right time until your ROM arrives. more power

Put it this way. All of the cooked ROM are ripped off one way or another because MS never released it to the public. Even the HCT camera app is from HTC. In the mod screen which Faria put his signature you will see below it is "copy right 2000 - 2006" by HTC
I don't understand why some of the Posters in here are taking the "moral" high ground and declare that they won't use PDAVIET ROM, they despite it, etc...
The ROM runs great. The included apps are freeware. The camera app, copyright by HTC but extracted by Faria is posted in this forum and available to any Joe. I don't really care who cooked the ROM. As long as it run fast and good, I will use it. The most important thing for me is a good ROM not who did the cooking.

The keyboard has been fixed and will work with various language with the correct code (check the thread). I am not sure what WM5 issued that has been raised here. Haven't seen or read any where yet.
is it a little bit faster then the clean one or much faster? i dont wanna go thru reinstalling all my stuff if its just a slight performance increase.. know what i mean?
i cant see pdaviet rom in ftp site!!!can anyone let me know in ftp site in which folder pdaviet rom is so tat atleast i can see rom thorugh my eyes that its been posted or not!!!after that i wanna give my feedback!!
in which folder pdaviet rom is and whats the name of rom!!
...u should maybe READ the other threads.. jesus christ
would it be a good idea to allow cookers to create issue trackers in the wiki and link the page to the first page of their threads.
that way when someone has an issue/fix we can say "add it to the wiki" and they can see if the issue has already been reported and any fixes that users have associated with it?
it also give the cooker one place to look when they come to support that rom
Anybody can edit the Wiki, it wouldnt neccassarily need to done by the cooks, why dont you start it off and turn this useless thread into something contructive rather than another cloed thread!

i know... that's the point! everyone can edit it for their issues. but we'd want the cookers to adopt the wiki page as their issue trackers.

Hi,
I noticed you had added links to the 6.5 ROM list on the Wiki. I updated the table just now and moved the column for the issies links nearer to the left. I also took out the language column as the table is getting too wide, and we can group the languages as shown in the revised table.
There is also a post about listing all the ROMs on the Wiki as this has not been kept up to date.
See the post here:

made this post in another thread... (apology for cross-posting)
great idea! i'd like to offer the following suggestions:
add a column for ROM version. i know this is for 2.5 Manila, but miri may have 2-3 2.5 Manila versions in circulation at one time. standardized selections would be great (although i'm not sure it's possible)
consider adding a standardized "feature" column/tag. might help with searching or filtering responses. for example, a standard features list could include: SMS, Twitter, Weather, email, contacts, data connection, sounds, alarms, etc.
are these easy changes to make? i ask because i'm not familiar with the wiki edit process.
Good idea, i like it!

Guys the problem we have is two fold.
1) The Chefs are releasing new ROMs with increasing regularity
2) The Chefs rarely (and this isn't a pot shot) retrospectively fix issues in that ROM - they fix in subsequent ones.
I am fully for this idea but I see the above as massive problems to overcome for it to be useful. We risk putting Chefs of cooking ROMs but asking for such increases in bug fixing and ROM releases will naturally decrease with that.
I am not saying I either want this or don't - I am simply pointing this out. I have a number of issues with my current ROM that I would love sorting out...I don't want to be chopping and changing my ROM every two minutes in order to fix a small issue - however that being said, I also want Chefs to continue their excellent work.
Let's be careful and sensitive to what we are wishing for?

It's pointless in any case unless the cookers agree to use them as a bug issue priority list of sorts. I'm not sure that these guys have sufficient time to do that.
Having a list of issues is one thing....the list of fixes is going to be another entirely!

hey wiggz, while i understand your concerns i don't fully agree with them.
The idea of the issues tracker is different for different users:
People that don't have the rom:
these guys will be able to look at the issues and associated fixes (if any) and decide if they want to flash the rom.
People that have the rom:
They can look at the tracker and add new issues, track fixes and not have to flood the thread with things like "GPRS keeps connecting halp!!" after every two posts. Also, fixes can be given to a wider audience rather than someone saying "look a few pages back… this has been fixed"
Cookers:
Cookers can TRACK the issues, they can see what is wrong with the rom and either
A. fix it in this current rom
B. apply the fix or test the issue in the new rom
C. do nothing as there is no fix
The idea is that:
Duplicate posts will get reduced
Fixes get the visibility that they deserve
New roms can be regression tested by cookers, beta testers and normal users.
I think you got confused with "suggested fix"…. I am not asking miri/nrg or other cookers to fill out the form, it is for their reference.
The suggested fix is for ALL users to fill in. if the cookers/other users find a fix then the best place to put it is in the wiki and not on post #1006044 on page 1902309231
You dig?

Miri has now added this to his thread. Still waiting on response from NRG
I totally get it - perhaps I was simply focusing on the negatives a bit too much.
The fact is when I'm looking at a new ROM I want as much information about issues as I can so I know whether to invest the time or not.
However more often than not my issues stem from small issues that arise in ROMs but are never fixed. For me, the EnergyROM Leo would be perfect if I could just send MMS messages (the 'fix' hasn't worked for me).
Official T-Mobile WinMo6.5 "Upgrade" Opinion (kind of @NRGZ28 related)
I just flashed (or whatever it’s called) the official T-Mobile RUU_Rhodium_S_TMOUS_1.91.531.4_Radio_Rhodium_4.49.25.57_Signed_Ship.exe upgrade. I have been using NRGroms since I first received my TP2 which I think was in Oct. I actually sometimes still use an old ROM I like best, EnergyROM 23016 Rhodium 10.17.09 Standard. 23016 has been my favorite upgrade build for WinMo I think. But what do I know about the background work. I just know it’s had the best stability of all ROMs I’ve used and 23016 and has the better customizable standard 6.5 start menu. For example, when you long press and item instead of saying “Move to Top”, it lets you drag it anywhere a la Droid home screen. Well not as customizable. I didn't even try the original stock ROM until the 3rd or 4th TP2 I "purchased" for a friend or family member. Right now they are FREE and you can even get $100 for your old smartphone lying around. I sent in an old Tmo Dash non 3g that I fuct up and got the rebate. You can get that rebate here http://www.htctradein.com/t-mobile/ . As for the link for the free phone I don’t want to post it to keep it active as long as possible. But if you really want it though, just PM me.
Ok so back to the Official 6.5 Rom. Well about say 6-7 hours of use I can say that I will more than likely be heading back to EnergyROM_21885_RHODIUM_31.Dec.2009_Standard or the 23016 build. There are few things irk me that aren’t done off the bat on the new Tmo build. First is the 3 row start menu which I know can be easily changed to 4, but it isn’t. Also, when you lay the phone face down the speakerphone does not automatically activate. The folders aren’t nicely managed on the huge start menu. (Sorry I’m a little baked so can’t think clearly. Just went to a friend’s house to pick up 2 laptops I’m going to fix for him and he greeted me at the sink with a great already loaded gravity bong with some decent nug so I’m not thinking to clearly and can’t remember everything I really hate.) I don’t like Manila, I use SPB Mobile Shell, but this one doesn’t compare to 2.5 of even the 2.1 on NRGs. Umm the background is a little ehh. Of course no tethering and all other great included NRG freeware apps he cooked in. Umm it comes with 6.5 build 21881.5.0.84 compared to NRG 218815 that I use. Lots of bloatware somewhere or official apps I haven’t yet tried to remove but when installing my first cab I noticed there a good chunk of internal memory missing compared to the much lighter NRG build with much more useful freeware included. It must be the included TeleNav app, plus a few others.
So don’t get me wrong, it’s a great Official Rom. For a standard user off the street I’d definitely recommend it to. I’m just comparing it to what I am used to. Every time I get an Android, I come right back. WinMo is by far the supreme OS to me. I just can’t wait for “Windows Phone 7.” I don’t post much so don’t get upset if I post in the wrong place or if I comeback to say the original point I meant to make in this opinion that I forgot somewhere along the tree branched mix up there. What does everyone else think? What do you not like or **** do you like. Got to get back to business as usual but wanted to leave a little insight on the official ROM for those of you thinking of making the switch. In my honest opinion, just keep the NRG because it’s not worth the hassle and I’ve already done a lot of work customizing NRG ROMS to my preference. Well take easy. Sorry again for the Larry David-esque post about nothing.

Is there a link where the Official T-Mobile 6.5 rom can be downloaded from? I searched Google on the name that you listed, "T-Mobile RUU_Rhodium_S_TMOUS_1.91.531.4_Radio_Rhodium_4.49. 25.57_Signed_Ship.exe" and only found this thread in my results.
THanks!

Well from reading his post, he said he is "baked" so one can only assume baked+computer=pointless posts.
In all seriousness though, I find the big problem I have with the new Unofficial "official" Tmo US rom is that it is just way too slow. Everything else aside, the slowness is what kills this rom for me. However its nice to have an offical rom to downgrade to in the event that the phone breaks or w/e.
And come on. We finally have visual voicemail on our TP2's!!
Too true my friend...
closing thread.. please post questions regarding nrg's rom in his thread and the same with the official thread.
Peace,
Josh
Dear folks:
How many us are really looking for cooking our own rom. Information are scattered here and there and the process is not straight forward. It can be as simple as adding cabs and as complicated as perhaps changing hardware, porting roms to other devices, etc...
I think the reason why there is no tutorial for cooking the rom is because well it's difficult for one to develop that kind of tutorial, let alone his/her experience and best practices in various areas.
Ok so how to solve it? I suggest that all great cooking people out there, share to build that tutorial led by the moderator.
For example, one person could be in charge of explaining how to add CAB, another person in doing sys, another in porting, another in compiling, etc..
Clearly there will be multiple sections in that thread and it would be owesome and well organized. Even better, some topics can be jointly developed by more then one person sharing the experience and the best tricks and tips between them.
Somebody has to start this initiative, at least in defining the blocks, who is going to take the first shot and entice others to cooperate?
Samer.
sounds like a good idea i'd definitely like to know!!! im always looking for ways to build up my skills.
There's plenty of tutorials floating around... But if you want one done JUST for the TP2, I can help with that...
Im down...if not make my own, maybe help someone else. I personally think there are too many to choose from, and there needs to be a streamlined process to ensure that the ones that work, continue to get the support to make them better.
As NRG said, there are already a lot of threads and tutorials. Making a ROM is not just a Rhodium thing, it is very generic to start. Then making it Rhodium compliant might take some extra work. In any case, I am also looking to start my own kitchen so any efforts in this direction are apprciated.
I would greatly appreciate this. I am currently trying to cook my own ROM. I got the Visual Kitchen, dumped the HTC WWE 6.5 ROM and downloaded the 23518 rollup from Da_G.
I used Dump Sorter to sort the rollup and put it in the SYS folder. I moved the MSXIPKernel into ROM\Shared\23518. I selected 23518 for XIP and SYS build and left ETX at 21854. The ROM won't build. I try to make it but the file in RHODIUM_Release is only 8MB.
In the build log it says
"Executing: platformrebuilder.exe.....
platformrebuilder.exe Executed successfull!!!"
Platformrebuilder does not do anything where as if I left everything at 21854 there is a LOT of stuff that platformrebuilder.exe does.
Also in ROM\Shared\21854 there is a file xip.bin that I don't have in 23518.
Help cooking sense2.5
My problem is when trying to cook Leo sense2.5(EXT package). ( I could produce sense2.1 without any problem) . BUT ran into issues like: (see photo) or if the ROM is complete. I can't get past the installation screen, just hung there and not giving me the Today Screen. So any help would be greatly appreciative.
ps.. I did check Real WM 6.5, but ROM still won't boot.

Well first of all, it's an honor to see a great person like yourself answering my post, so my warm regards for your kindness.
Yes, I am interested obviously in TP2, although from the moment I got my hands on it, I never tried anything but EnergyRom (do you know who does them?) but it's just that I wish I can combine the latest official WM6.5 with arabic keyboard and Sense 2.5 and perhaps some cool stuff.
Indeed there are plenty of tutorials out there but maybe they are not clear enough to me, or maybe I didnt' search very well or maybe I dont know how and where to start. so yes ur input are highly welcome just like your presence.

I'd love to see one! Not that I'm not grateful to the cooks for their ROMs, I'd like to know how it's done and maybe add a few programs of my own to a ROM.
Oh, and I think it'd be best to start right at the beginning so that everyone is at the same level eventually.
Thanks!
I started cockin roms a couple years ago and said the exact same thing how the information is scattered.. i'm in, just let me know what you need and i'll help with what i can.
I also see some tutorials in many sub-forums, but having to look at 4 different pages just to do one step in cooking a ROM is a little troublesome and confusing. So here's what I think should happen:
I think there should be a sticky thread that has clear steps (a guide) on how to cook ROMs.
Then there should also be a sticky thread that has all kitchens from chefs that want to release them. (Similar to the Radio Collection Thread.)
That would help a lot of people! I want to cook ROMs when I have the time (over summer) and if (hopefully when) this happens, it would be easier for many people like me to cook ROMs.
BesFen made a solid tutorial for using Visual kitchen in the Opal forum, and I helped with that one. I think this is an excellent idea and I'd love to help with it in whatever capacity I can.

edit: Just read the poll results. Whoever said no is obviously not XDA material.
i dont mind helping with this
Thanks for starting this thread.. Been using excellent ROMs from NRGZ & b16b, but want to do my own thing for my Rhodium. Hopefully, this will get me to appreciate the efforts of these 2 fine cooks and use the facilities provided by XDA better..
I've been trying to wrap my head around the info provided by Da_G in this super thread:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=544445
It is taking a while for a newbie like me..
When I had my XV6800(AKA Titan) after a while of modding I started cooking my own roms. I usually removed the garbage I would never use to shrink the Rom size. I then left for a BB in Nov. 2008. Well my senses have come around and I will be back to WinMo with a TP2 on Wed. So I would like to see a kitchen to cooking rom Tutorial assuming it is different. I know that of course CDMA vs GSM will be with because of the carrier CAB. This go around I am leaving VZW to T-Mobile.
So, what's happened with this and this thread? Has it all turned out to be a p**s take?
I would love to see a cohesive tutorial on how to cook a ROM.
I've poked around in the kitchen threads but have gotten kind of lost and overwhelmed. It seems like information is so scattered around.
I've been looking for a project to do for awhile and have thought that ROM cooking might be kinda fun. Initially, I'd just like to make something with the features I want but who knows where it might go. I think I've tried every TP2 ROM on XDA-Developers now and, while I've found some excellent ones, nothing that quite screams "this is EXACTLY what I want".
So...yeah...a good "how-to" would be excellent and I'd be forever grateful.
FWIW, I'd be happy to do some trade-work in exchange for this. I've got a pretty decent technical skill set...just not one involving ROM cooking.
Same here.. I'm stuck on getting a build to use.. Looking for a good NAM build : Tilt2 stock or something for Tilt2 will be a good start..
My first attempt is with the Eruvius Visual kitchen. I think I got all the required files. There were multiple download links in the original thread. I'm guessing that I get the older version and replace the latest kitchen .exe on top.
I'd love to try to cook my own ROM. I agree that the information seems sparse and kinda scattered. My cursory browsing very much gives the vibe that information for Touch Pro 2 ROM Development has an unspoken understanding that you've made ROMs before. Not me.
I'd love a simple step-by-step tutorial (for rhodium), cause I'd like to build a simple ROM based on the latest 5.5.3/5, without manila...
