I'm using Anycom stereo headset - I installed the Tornado_A2DP fix - it now shows the service on the 8125! I also got it to play an MP3 through the headset, but only when I press the Play button on the headset - this is the 'voice dial' function. When it is loading the voice dialler, it plays music, but then I obviously have to cancel it, which cancels the playback. Very frustrating!
Is there any way to assign the Play button on the headset to stereo mode/media player?
My ROM version is 1.8.11.1 WWE
ROM Date 11/24/05
Radio Ver. 01.09.11
Protocol Ver 4.0.13.20
ExtROM 1.8.11.103
Thanks! You guys are awesome!

I'm at the point of giving up, ive tried :-
1 soft reset
2 hard reset
3 flicking on/off/on the BT
4 deleting the BT from the start menu
5 updating the radio to 1.12.00 and 1.13.00
Here is the problem
No Sound.. the phone rings, so the speaker's fine. But there are no taps, i cant hear anything, no one can hear me upon answering, when playing media player theres no sound either.
The good news is i get sound through either a BT headset or a wired Hfree kit so its not entirely useless
I've got a XDA IIs PH2OB
ROM 1.31.00 WWE
RADIO 1.06.00
EXT ROM 1.31.139
PROTOOL 1337.38
any ideas other than entering the mobile tossing olympics???
Try insert and re-insert your wired headset. It could be that your device still thinks that it's in headset mode.
It had happen to me with wallaby and older treo.
Yeah i tried that, while using the wired headset and listening to media player i repeatedly plugged-unplugged it. still to no result. sound goes on, sound goes off, sound goes on, sound goes off
I am new to PDAs, so please pardon my ignorance. I recently purchased a PDA2k EVDO (CDMA/Harrier) which was stock standard (ROM 2.03.00 WWE, date 15/12/04, Radio HA01_140, ExtROM 2.03.111 WWE & BT 1.0.0.3500). As my PDA2k didn't have audio BT profile, I installed the BT 3900 stack. I can now hear fantastic stereo music via my iTech BlueBAND headphones but can bearly hear my phone from the same headset. The phone volume is set to maximum without any effect. Before the upgrade, on BT 3500, the phone worked perfectly on this headset but I couldn't play music thru the headset. I have checked in the forums for similar problems but haven't found an answer for this one. Other glitches - the first time I installed 3900, the screen froze. I had to do a hard reset to overcome this and subsequently lost 3900 (to 3500) on restore. The BT signal on 3900 cuts out occassionaly but I get a line-of-sight range of @10m. Please help and thanks.
PS. Great site - I've learned a lot in a short time. Cheers.
I am using iTech S38 bluetooth stereo headset.
My Music/video player is TCPMP 0.72RC1
I had paired my O2 XDA IIi with this itech S38.
The 2 setup I had done:
Hands-free/Headset setup and High Quality Audio setup.
Playing MP3 is okay, and would auto disconnect my bluetooth after few minutes when i backlit goes off. Is there any way to stop this?
As for video playback, all the bell whistle accessing the menu can be heard, but whenever i hit play, it simply disconnect my BT connection.
Anyone know what is the issue?
I am using Pug Asian firmware with O2stuff stripped.
Someone told me.. it could be the A2DP patch.. but how can I tell what patch I am using? Native BT profiles does not have A2DP on original O2 XDA IIi firmware.
Thank you.
i am using Helmi BA WM2k5 AKU3.2 Beta (v.1.3 Beta)
and have installed TCPMP,
I have paired my HT820 & Use it as a Stereo Headset,
BUT the pause/play & next/previous Song buttons on the headset dont do anything,
In Windows Media player they work fine no issues at all.
Any one know why they dotn work?
I have an unaltered 8125 and I loaded Voice Command 1.6 since it was supposed to enable A2DP. The headphones work great for phone calls but only occationally and sporadically for music playback. How do I get it to always work for music playback and not just as a headset for my phone?

Hi, more info re: your 8125, would be helpful. IPL/SPL version, OS, BT device, etc. I realize you said unaltered but...
Thanks,

Sorry, it is a G3 8125. I am using Windows Media 5.0 with Cingular's latest update from HTC. I am synching with a Motorola HT820. I used MS Voice Command 1.6 to get A2DP. (I think) active on my phone. The headset works very well for phone use and other Voice Command functions. However, I can only get music or movie audio to come over the headset when I double tap my headset to activate Voice Command. Otherwise, the sounds come from the phone and not the headset. Hope this helps.
