Hi,
Anybody have Service Manual for HTC Victor / T-Mobile MDA Compact IV?
I searched forum and wiki.xda-developers.com and found only Service Manual for HTC Diamond / O2 HDA Diamond/Ignito. But that is slightly different. Service Manual HTC Diamond covers models DIAM100/120/130/140/300.
But HTC Victor is DIAM200. And have different body inside.
I know that may be main info about hardware and spare parts numbers may be covered by presented Diamond service manual, but I think better to have original Service manual for HTC Victor.
Anybody may help?
I need this Service Manual !!
I need to repair the touch screen. I order a replacemente kit by Brando.
HELP !
hi mate,
did you find this? i need a copy and can't find it anywhere - their this or instructions on how to remove the screen...
I canfind lots on the diamond, but the MDA IV is a different model.
Cheers
Try sending MikeChannon a PM, he has a lot of them on his site, but sadly no Victor
His site is www.mikechannon.net
Thanks
Dave
yeah thanks had had a look through, will drop him a line
really annoying as i can get most of the back off, but there seems to be a central pin next to the sim slot (which had a void sticker on it) which doesnt seem to have a thread on - so i cant get it off!
you might find this helpful
anyone have success?
Bought new digitizer and now I cannot change it ;(.
I have a same problem that cannot open central pin.
Diamond original manual have no use in this case.
I just complete the process of having TWO of my Tilts repaired by PPC Techs. I was completely satified with their work, speed, etc. If you get into a situation where you need repairs (or need parts!!) check these guys out.

Hi guys…
Bit of a desperate first post!
Picked up a HTC Diamond Touch last week locked to Orange and unlocked it using Olinex’s solution on here…
Now, I’ve put my T-Mobile SIM and all is working fine… calls, mobile internet… everything…
Well, everything but SkyMobile TV…
The HTC Touch Diamond on Orange supports SkyMobile TV… and the equivalent phone, MDA Compact IV on T-Mobile also supports the SkyMobile TV app… put the T-Mobile SIM into the HTC Touch Diamond however and it’s a different issue! The website says it's not a compatible handset... go figure
From searching there’s about a post and a half from a year or so back now that just kind of died a death… the guy who responded mentioned changing the user agent in the Opera browser, but didn’t quite know what the correct user agent was, lol…
Now, I’m reluctant to flash (I’ll have to, right?) and install the T-Mobile ROM given the bloatware it comes with… but I’m really kind of eager to get Sky Mobile TV on the phone and make those commutes into work a little more bearable!
All help, greatly appreciated!
Problem solved for all those that care, lol...
Went into the opera:config screen and changed the browser user agent to a T-Mobile compatible one... used MDA Compact IV since that's the T-Mobile HTC Diamond equivalent

I have a HTC Kaiser on 3UK. (marked HTC on the front, but shows the 3 splash screen on boot).
I have been to the HTC website, and tried to download the WM6.1 upgrade for the TTYN II. I have entered the serial number of the handset, and get a message, that the upgrade is not compatable with my handset.
Any one else tried this, and got it to work with a 3Uk handset?
Try with this address: http://www.htc.com/us/SupportDownload.aspx?p_id=13&cat=2&dl_id=475

Almost all rom upgrades are carrier specific. The carriers pay a license fee to MS and Ms allows HTC to write them an upgrade for their phones.
Unless you Hardspl your phone and carrier unlock it from 3UK you can only use a 3UK upgrade on it. No other rom upgrades will work.
Hi,
i changed my service provider to t-mobile and got now one sim with two lines. Because of that I'd like to know if there is a software to use the Alternate Line Service (ALS) directly?
I've got an original HTC ROM installed which I don't want to change.
Is there any CAB that might do that? For instance from another service provider?
Greetings,
