I recently upgraded the rom on my Cingular 8125 to the AKU 2.3 and its been working like a chram. The one problem that i ran into was that the calandar function when it is assigned to the soft key gives me the error"the file htccalandar cannot be opened. Either it is not signed with a trusted certificate, or one of its components cannot be found. You might need to reinstall or restore this file" But if i open the calandar through the start menu it opens just fine. If anyone has experienced this or has any ideas how I can fix this it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks again in advance.
Search for "HTCCalender.exe", you'll find your solution...
Yeah tried doing a search for this prior to posting but was unsuccessful in locating a post on this issue, I figued I could not be the first person with this issue.

Hi
Did you carefully follow WM2005 -> WM2003 process described in wiki ?
It's very important that you resize, reformat ExtROM and do some other stuff before flashing back to WM2003.
Good luck
i have the same problem.. since octobre without solution
Hi
I ask again.
Did you guys restore your ExtROM correctly ?
(using Repart_DOC.exe tool)
GO to wiki -> blueangel -> blueangel WM2005 page -> how to downgrade....
Good luck
hi robal
I tried but when i use Repart_DOC
I set size 16384 or other sizes but if I click format now, the error message pops up"
Create handle failed.
Please help. Thanks!
Hi
Maybe You forgot to do as described in point "3" of downgrade process :
Prep your WM5 device by formating Storage and Hive.
Press Power + Softreset, and when the colored stripes (well, this is the bootscreen )shows on the screen.
If you have a PH20B device such as MDAIII, QTEK 9090, XDAIIs, PDA2K etc.
Quickly press Record+Camera before the versions appears at bottom right
OR, press Power+Softreset+Camera+Record at the same time.
If you have a PH20B1 device such as SX66
Quickly press Record+Windows Media before the versions appears at bottom right
OR, press Power+Softreset+Windows Media Player button+Record at the same time.
Either way mentioned above should work.
You'll see three options; change the second and the third to "yes".
If you have a PH20B device such as MDAIII, QTEK 9090, XDAIIs, PDA2K etc.
You can do that with the camera and the record buttons.
If you have a PH20B1 device such as SX66
You can do that with the Windows Media Player and the record buttons.
If you are done, press the mail button, it'll show a white screen for a while, just wait.
If the bootscreen, aka. the colored stripes is displayed, Wait more, you are booting.
The welcome screen to set up your device should appear soon.

This should've been done when you had WM2005.
I think it's important to do it, before trying to run Repart_DOC (on WM2003).
Any idea ?
If you've forgotten to do it. You probably will have to intall WM2005 again, do it, intall WM2003 and Repart_DOC it. HUh
have fun
DEAR robal,
Thanks for your information. In fact I did everything like you said before. but nothing help.
I know that I have to creat an extended_Rom in order to get it work. (this is not a big deal since we can install manually.
The most imfortant thing is the bluetooth error. Please help me find a sollutin for it. Thanks!
Hi
So you say, you have WM2003 installed with Extrom CABs from some official ROM ? OK
I'm not familiar with this BT failure. Please tell me exactly what ROM are you using ( CE , Radio, ExtROM )
And what version of BT stack you have.
This error is caused by a portion of the Bluetooth memory being overwritten by something else. The people who are trying to help you are right...you need to reflash the device because something didn't work correctly last time.
I had a tool that restored BT MAC-address, but I cannot find it on HDD.
It was sent by imate tech support as a fix for the "bt license has expired" error, so you may try to contact them, or search this forum.
please mamaich if you can find it this will be very helpful
Dear mamaich,
Thanks for your great imformation. I love to get it as soon as you find it. Again, thanks for your pricious time to repond.

Hi hdubli, a question, what is the ROM 1.4 of the blueangel?
Hello people, I have a question for you. I recently did the Upgrade of my Qtek 9090 to WM 5 (device data now is PH20B WWE 5.03.02 1.12.00). It seems to be working fine (have yet to test wireless connection), but I discovered that I can't get the camera on the phone to work. For some reason, it simply does not react to camera button. It also does not react even when I try with the manual startup of pictures & videos application. Does anyone has any idea how to get out from this one? If this is any help, the original phone data were PH20B 0 B WWE E DANGA102 1.40.00 0 0 1.40.147 1.12.00 12.00.
Thanks a lot
Simple but crucial question: Which WM5 rom you flashed? Have you read specific information about this rom? maybe this one requires some post-instalation operations?
Basically, I found this ROM on www.buzzdev.net, and it only stated BA WM2005 5.03.02WWE - standard upgrade. It is basically the only one which worked for me, since every other dumped me (the model of the phone matched the ROM). However, there were no additional explanations for this, so I am stuck. Is there any registry tweak, or aditional piece of software which could make it work, or I will have to go looking further for better ROM?
As long as we don't know what is the problem with the ROM, we cannot help you - some ROMs just had camera support cut out, others needed installing additional software, some had errors.
About model/device check: please take any recent WM5 rom (baniaczek's for starters) and just read carefully flash instructions from Wiki - there is no problem with device check, if you understand what you do and how you should do it.
Thanks Jakub for good advice, I've been doing some reading and I tried baniaczek's latest issue from the web. However, I've got stuck. Namely, MaUpgradeUt_noID.exe does not work in my case. It simply tells that there has been communication error with the device, or if it starts it tells that this ROM upgrade utility was not designed for this device. I tried the other way with BaUpgrade.exe, with usage of EditFix.bat and xda3nbftool.exe, but it seems that I'm doing something wrong - each time I get the message that the specific ROM was not written for me and that I should check my vendor. Is there any way to get out of this, since now it seems that I can't do no upgrade or downgrade at all?
Thanks a lot in advance, I know this is mostly due to my mistakes and usage of unchecked ROMs.
Thank to everyone who was trying to help me. I did some experimenting in order to solve the upgrade issue, and I solved the problem. This is how I did it: Namely, I downloaded KitchenAKU3.5v2-xplode, which also contains useful readme. Basically if you want to have MaUpgradeUt_noID.exe to work for you at all, you have to put the device in Bootloader mode (press power + record simultaneously). After that, the upgrade went smoothly, after I designed my own rom, which was very easy with xplode's tutorial.
One more thing I did was that after the upgrade, I did a soft reset and "cleanup" of the device. after the soft reset I changed following options on the boot screen using camera and record buttons:
“Enable KITL” set to NO
“Clean Registry Hive” set to YES
“Format Storage” set to YES. (again on xplode's instructions)
After that, I confirmed settings with pressing of the mail button. One minute later, I had fully operational and very fast QTEK 9090 running WM5.
I hope that some things I did will be useful to other people trying to fix their blue angels. And of course, thanks to Xplode for making an excellent user-friendly upgrade.
Since i got the offical HTC 6.1 update when I install Microsoft Voice Command 1.6 my Tytn II freezes everytime i try to access the "settings" tab from the start menu. I've read the steps to install it on this forum already and followed the steps to the T and no luck. It used to work before the update perfectly and now it crashes everytime! any thoughts?
i'm blind!!! never mind I just read how to fix it...you guys rock on this site!!!...delete these posts!!
I'm also blind. Could you point me to where you found the fix? Thx.
The version you're using is likely not compatible. I know when I was running msvc as downloaded from dutty's cabs store, it did the same thing. I found a newer version in the 'all you ever wanted to know' MSVC thread, and it works great.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=391262
I've been googling and had no luck finding the solution for this. Can anyone point me in the right direction?
Hi all.
Has anyone found using their original ROM that sometimes you go to phone out and there is no audio? I find the fault is typified by when you dial, you hear no dialing tactile tones from the key entry. Then the phone rings out but I hear nothing. A reboot fixes it.
Any comments?
Thanks,
Alistair.
Maybe found the fix posted here:

I've applied the CAB hope it sorts it thanks.
Have you tried switching to WM5 or 6?

Well the problem seems to have gone after the previous cab install.
Re WM5/6 yes, I am quite keen but the FAQ for upgrade is unfortunately not so clear for me. For example:
The wizard takes one through the process with one ROM, no problems but other information:
http://wiki.xda-developers.com/inde...0.ROMx20.thatx20.willx20.workx20.forx20.mex3f.
Advises that I need to find out system information and search for my ROM before upgrading. So its confusing do you do the wizard and forget trying to find the correct ROM or search for your ROM - in my case I did, and its not there although my device is AU/NZ/Vodafone, so will be a very common GSM model.
Cheers,
Alistair.
Hello -
I am having a problem with my Kaiser and hope someone here can help me, this is my son's account and he recommended that I post my "quest for help in bringing life back to my Kaiser".
When my phone starts up, it will go to the start screen but will not automatically start the TouchFLo, then shows an error message :
'boot.exe '
the file 'boot.exe cannot be opened. Either it is not signed with a trusted certificate, or one of its components cannot be found. If the problem persists, try reinstalling this file.
(I did a search for 'boot.exe' and it was not found.)
I then tap 'OK' to close the error message. Most times I can just tap the screen to launch TouchFLo and everything is fine. But now the TouchFLo will not work at all and my Kaiser is very slow freezes.
I have tried restarting my Kaiser, soft restart and taking out the battery, but none helped.
It has been suggested that I flash a new ROM, but am worried about about losing some of my programs like Tom Tom, IGO8, etc (also I like this ROM). Some of the programs are ones the previous owner put on and I don't have the required 'cd' needed to reinstall (can't get in touch with previous owner either).
Any help/suggestions, etc that you can give will be greatly appreciated!!
Phone Model: KAIS100
Windows Mobile 6.1 Professional
ROM Version: Ultimate-X.V7 WWE
Radio Version: 1.71.09.01
P.S Please help, I miss my Kaiser very much!!!!
Boot.exe is ClearTemp just install again
