What to do first, I wonder...

Hi people,
When I bought this T-Mobile contract with MDA Vario HTC Wizard, I thought maybe I was overestimating my needs and I wouldn't need such a device. I proved myself wrong...but still I need some help.
The last thing the salesman told me was 'Have fun!'. Well, i Don't an that's why:
I bought it in Netherlands, and they forgot to mention that it is the Dutch version of Windows Mobile 2005. I need to change it, but I don't really know which one to choose. I've read that QTEK ROM makes the Phone faster. Is there any standard in the way the filenames are named?
As far as I understand, I can install the english version of windows mobile 2005, and then download the T-mobile settings for Netherlands. Still I need two downloads. Is there any T-Mobile Netherlands with English WM2005 ROM?
If I install the English WO2005, will the SIMlock function keep on working?
I have these parameters:
ipl 1.06
spl 1.06
gsm 1.12.10
os 1.6.2.2
Which one is the most important to refer to when trying to find a new ROM to install?

first of all you need to [cid] unlock before younedd anything
then you can install any rom/language versao that you want
as for T-Mobile Netherlands all you need is the cab file for that operator and you can find that in here this forum just by asking for it
yes your sim will still work but you could sim unlock with the same tool that you need to cid unlock.

Need help!!! T-mobile MDA

I have been reading these forums for about a month now. I finally bought a unlocked MDA that I am currently using with cingular. I think my phone is CID locked don't really know. I want to upgrade the rom it still has 1.8.10.2 WWE Rom, It has 01.09.10 for the radio rom. I tried to update to the newest Qtek 9100 rom but it gave me a error on the updater. Can I update to the newest T-mobile rom and not have it locked back up? Please help I tell me what to do.

Don't load the new tmobile version...download the 8125 ROM from here:
http://www.htcamerica.net/support/cingular_8125.html
It will work and make the phone a Cingular ROM phone. I did it today and it's awesome.
If you decide to upgrade the ROM to cingular, when you get to the end of the progress bar and it seems to stop for a long time...wait longer!!! It will work.

How i can downgrade version on WIZA200 (T-mobile MDA) to 2.01?
or how i can debrand ? I try to install (RUU_Prodigy_1030711_120_10410_Qtek_GER_Ship.exe) but gives error and need newer version.

Judging by your post title... you appear to have a G4...
If you determine that you have a G3 you can SuperCID & SIM unlock, then simply install the desired ROM package (.exe) from your desired provider.

If in fact you do have a G4, you can flash any ROM on your device by following the procedures found (SIM unlock required for use with other provider SIMs)...

Make sure you understand everything that is explained on these pages before you attempt anything or you risk "bricking" your device.

First of all, why are you downgrading? Are you certain you have a G3? Did you unlock your device? If you can get the phone into boot loader mode you can recover. Flash your providers most recent ROM, put the device into boot loader mode first. READ the wiki. If you skip steps, this happens.

my phone is g4 and accidentally i've flashed a g3 rom.the bootloader is crashed.it doesn't even start.can be repaired?

MDA is G4 WIZARD200 2.21.0001 version, and its T-Mobile branded, which ROM is best for this MDA without branding? Germany Lng.
Because of my broblem i dont want to have any t-mobile-O2-Orange branding on phone just standart some room without any branding in Germany Language.

Yes, just find a G3 Rom that suits your needs and modify it using the instructions in my earlier post to you and you should be able to get it on your device.

I get crazy , modify is no problem to do , but i didnt find one good rom without branding in germany language, if you have time can you give me a link maybe ? thank u very much.

My qtek 9100 start again(always).I isntalled the Radio software,then start the vario always again....

Ok,from the image you have given,it looks like you have flashed the Button's Rom 1.05 on your phone,as I cud barely make out a jug of bear and ipl/spl 1.xx and its stuck on the loading screen.Soft Reset or do a Hard Reset,hope it'll work fine,then apply lokiwiz02b to sim/cid unlock the phone and upgrade,otherwise,it might be a bad flash.Try to get into bootloaders (tricolor screen) and flash flash the rom again.

Well,what I get it is that you had English Rom (OS),Rom means OS(Operating System) like windows,ok and the Radio Rom is the GSM protocols or software,through which a phone receives communication signals from the cellular network and connects to receives and make calls,But a Rom (OS) is the main operating system like windows on the phone and Radio Rom is one of the essential function and part of a Rom.
Now,were you trying to update the Rom(OS) of the phone from English to Dutch or you were updating the Radio Rom,cuz,it doesn't matter whatever version of Rom(OS) you are using,the Radio Rom always stays the same,it won't change from English to Dutch and it doesn't matter if you are using english or dutch rom,it'll receive and send calls.

Ipl 1.04 spl 1.04 ?

Hi everybody,
I hope somebody can help me. I have a Charmer (T-mobile MDA compact II german) in front of me. A friend of mine tried to flash the original TMO (german) AKU3.3 and it failed with the "know" 95% bug.
Whatever was before and whatever he tried afterwards, I do not know that. He asked me for help to get it now back to live.
When turning it on the red/green/blue screen appears and on the screen I can only see:
IPL 1.04 RUU
SPL 1.04
I tried almost everything found in this forum but nothing really helped. The best result I archived was after flashing radio rom (Prophet_G3_G4_RadioRom_v2.69.21). Then I got a boot logo from HTC / QTek. While booting it shows again again IPL / SPL 1.04 and a OS Version. No GSM ver (!). But the screen does not go away an after about 45 sec. the device soft resets itself an it again goes into this QTEK screen.
Has anybody an idea what to do now? I'm a bit confused because the IPL/SPL version of this charmer is totally different to the ones here in the forum. I have 1.04 on both version.
Any help is much appreciated

Have you flashed any Bootloader from Wizard or Prophet? The only way out that is JTAG. But I don't know about it. I'll search and tell you this evening.
