Can not enter boot screen. - 8125, K-JAM, P4300, MDA Vario Software Upgrading

I'm trying to run an upgrade on a tmobile device, I believe it to be cid unlocked as I've been running the Kjam rom on it for the past few months. It is a G3 device.
When I connect the device to the pc it connects with active sync, I start to go through the upgrade to another rom process answer the questions no problem, the device then goes to a black screen and after a few seconds I get the warning cannot communicate with device.
I have tried different ROMs including ones with no ipl spl, I have tried doing a soft reset whilst holding the two buttons, each time the same result - black screen.
I recover from the black screen by removeing and replaceing the battery.
The battery is fully charged.

fully charge battery, go into bootloader (hold camera button + press reset with pencil) try and do this CID unlock procedure again

Phone Stuck on T-Mobile Bootup Screen

I was updating my phone to the Touch-IT 2.3 ROM. My computer crashed while I was flashing the ROM. Now I'm stuck on the T-Mobile Bootup screen. I tried Hard resting it by holding down the two soft keys and hitting the softrest button at the same time and it still gets stuck on the t-mobile screen. I can't flash to original RUU ROM because Active Sync won't recognize my phone. Is there anything I can do to get my phone back, or do I have to file an insurance claim?
Thanks.

Hold your camera button and press the reset keyhole, then flash your device with the RUU. It doesn't have to be "connected" to the active sync.
thanks, now it's working.

Flashing Noobie - Issues

Hi guys,
Just as a preamble, I have read and attempted the stickied tutorials regarding HardSPL and Flashing ROM. During each attempt I have encountered problems.
When trying to HardSPL, using the standard method, I was not able to successfully complete the update. The phone would go as far as the progress bar, and just stop and sit there at 0%. I left the phone for over 20 minutes without any indication of success. The HardSPL program will go to a fail and ask me to step-by-step restart the process.
I was, however, able to successfully up date the phone by using HardSPL, and booting the phone with the Vol- & Power pressed down. Now, when I boot the phone, the Vol- & Power method shows
Code:
KOVS110
SPL-0.78.0000
MicroP1-787
MicroP2-707
If I use the HardSPL to enter the bootloader, it shows
Code:
KOVS110 MFG
SPL-0.52.0liNex
MicroP1-787
MicroP2-707
I found this odd. In the system information shows that the phone was updated to R3A011, it was R3A010.
Anyways, now when I go to flash the ROM, using the SD method, it goes as far as the grey loading screen, and sits there and does nothing. I've tried multiple different ROMs, thinking the ROM was the problem, but nothing changes.
I just tried HardSPL again, and now it says there is an update to 1.9.0, should I do it the same way I did above, or no? What is wrong here? Why don't roms load in the bootloader?
Thanks in advance.
Adam
Hard-SPL is not applyed to your phone
If it does not want to work with the standard method, try this one:
-stop your phone
-Vol Down + start buttons to start the phone in tricolor mode
-connect USB cable from your PC
-run X1_HardSPL.exe
-follow the instructions

Help bad flash

Hi all,
so i did a bad flash and my diamond doesnt boot into windows, not a problem with the Unlocker Right? turn off and turn on holding power+down volume key+ center key and back key, it boots into bootloader but it just sits there saying LOADING... and this is because the internal memory wasnt being recognize by windows before the bad flash.
do i have any other alternative??
Hi, fear not my friend. Just boot into bootloader mode by pressing power key and volume down at the same time (If you press the center button also you will trigger a hard reset.) Then plug your phone on your PC. On the bottom of the phone screen you should see that the word serial changes for USB. Then just lauch any rom upgrade(either a stock rom or a custom one). The rom upgrade utility will the upgrade your phone like it normaly does when it's not bricked. It will just be a little longer.
you have hold the power volume down and press soft reset to enter boot loader
Hi

ROM Update issue

I tried to do a TASK29 and somehow in the folder there was no task29.exe, so i used the ROMUpdate utility ..and asked me if i wanted to upgrade to somewhat ROM 2.0.0 (?something?)..(i thought that was part of task29 job...) and now my device is blocked in HTC white splash screen...
hard reset still same issue does...
is there any ROM Update utility that can be used without starting the windows from the phone?
or..what can i do to connect my phone to the PC?
i managed to do 4-5 ROM Updates without problems during time, but somehow..this TASK29 job did not work.
is it possible that i deleted the Operating system from the phone?

If am not mistaken, Task 29 did exactly what it should do which is wipe your device clean. Now what you have to do is enter bootloader by powering on your phone while holding the volume down button. If your phone is not off, do a soft reset by pressing the reset button on the side while holding down the volume down button. You should come to a tricolor screen and it will say "SERIAL" in the bottom. When you see this, plug in your USB and on the screen it should change from "SERIAL" to "USB". At this point open up your rom folder, click on the "Rom Update Utility" and follow the prompts and you should be all set. Hope it helps.

sorry. solution found
"if you fail to press vol down key and your phone get stuck on the white screen, just remove your battery, then try again: press power, and keep vol down pressed immediatly next, until the phone get to RVB bootloader.
When your phone is back to RVB bootloader screen, use the leocustomruu.exe provided with your favorite rom package to flash a new rom, or flash it from memory card using standard procedure."
you can close this thread.
