Volume - MDA III, XDA III, PDA2k, 9090 Software Upgrading

Can anyone tell me how to increase BA volume.....Its very slow to me.....Pls

Some roms have louder volume... the only way in windows mobile is to use the volume slider - the hardware slider on the left of your phone also operates this.

Making the call volume lower than the minimum setting?

When Im at work and its quiet I need a really low volume on the ear piece in order to maintain the privacy of the call. Im finding that the diamond volume level during a call isnt low enough...is there a reg tweak somehow that I can set the lowest volume even lower than it currently is? I know its odd as everyone seems to be asking for louder!! hahahaha
I think most of us wanting louder is for calling without the headset

Loudspeaker Volume Toooooo Low | Help Neede

I have Purchased HTC Diamond a day before yesterday and I founded dat its loudspeaker volume is too, I can't even hear my ringtone in crowded place....
I have used "AudioPara3_full_boost" it increased my diamond's volume, but it is still not so louder to hear my ringtone in my working place.....
Help Needed......
I don't think its a software problem, the speaker itself is probably just crap. Also the cover blocks some of the sound.
ppl are complaining that the "boost" is too loud for u it is not enough?
maybe you should change yr working place

Same Here, I Think We r facing hardware problem..
It is hardware problem. In fact i used a audiopara3 boosted. I get louder sound everywhere and with the speaker too. The problem is that when i pushed the volume to max I damaged my speaker so now when i receive call the caller voice has distortion cause the speaker is damaged so be careful and keep in mind the volume is so low because the hardware doesn't follow

HD7 : Volume Speaker TERRIBLE

Hi, is there a way to increase the ring volume of the HD7? My wife has her volume set to 10, and when it rings in her purse she can barely hear it. I've tried downloading the HTC app with the "increase volume when in purse" setting but this seems not to help at all. In fact, even at 10 all the sound on this phone is quite low, for example the Netflix app can only be heard in a dead quiet room. For comparison, ithe "10" setting on her HD7 seems to be about the same as "2" on my Dash 3G... All help appreciated. Thank you,

But yes, it seems the speaker is quite low. I think some people think it's a software fault, and it will be fixed in the update. I don't know personally, mine seems loud enough

Its not directly related (And I dont want to make a new thread) but even the headphones are bad...or may be, over time, I only like to use the Sony Ercisson headphones...anyways...what is the best compatible, noise reduction headphones good for HD7??

You keep saying she has it set on 10 when I can set mine to 30? Maybe that's why her 10 seems like a 2 to you?
On the lock screen, up volume up. You should see the volume indicator in the top left. Crank it to 30. Should be plenty loud.
when you are talking on the phone the volume only goes up to 10. however, when you are at the homescreen you can put the volume up to 30.
"In-Call" volume controls the volume of the ear-piece speaker located in the grill at the top of the phone, and yes it will only go up to 10.
The volume which goes up to 30 which you can adjust whilst on the home screen controls the external Speaker located on the back of the phone (which is used for ringtones, etc.)
They are 2 completely seperate speakers so in turn have their own volume controls.

[Q] Volume Won't Change

When i listen througn headphones, the volume is quite low. I then increase the volume on the button and I can see the slider move to the right on the screen but the actual volume doesnt change. Has anyone else experienced this?

Hi,
If using the original earbuds, there's also a rocker-button on one of the leads...
You could always give Voodoo Control a try, assuming you are rooted.
Be careful with it though as the dev says '...this AMP is a beast' !

Galaxy Ace In call volume

Hey all
Been looking for at least a couple of weeks how to boost the incall volume especially on the hands free speaker of the samsung galaxy ace.
Finally figured it out and thought to share it here just in case people are trying to do the same!
on CM7 7.2.0 RC3 here so not sure if it works on other ROMs.
on the service menu (accessed with *#*#197328640#*#*)
For incall volume boost on headset:
[5]Audio
[1]Handset
[2]Rx Value
[1]Rx Codec/Volume
[1]Rx Codec Gain - click on this and input FFFF which is 12db. (I guess you can try different settings-but this worked for me)
For incall volume boost on the speaker (which bugged me for a while )
[5]Audio
[3]Speaker
[7]MP3/Not Mp3 Mode (so that on top of menu says Mp3 Speaker)
[2]Rx Value
[1]Rx Codec/Volume
[1]Rx Codec Gain - click on this and input FFFF which is 12db.
I can hear the other person on the phone now when im driving and I have em on speaker, maybe you can get it even louder, but Im a bit worried ill fry the speaker!
Im an android virgin so cant help any1 any further just thought to post this for people having the same issue with me! try this at your own risk!!
Finally thanks
Now i can hear people
Sent from my GT-S5830 using xda premium
why won't you just install volume +? it's much easier and safer.. just a thought tho..
i did try the volume +
it seemed to only boost the music player volume.
the incall setting function didnt do anything
Works well!!
Can i also increase the Headset MP3 value so that my music through Headphones is louder?? I'm not trying it because i don't know if it will cause any harm..
ill try this thanks
the speaker volume doesnt seem to be much louder. it worked well for the handset and headset.
Any ideas?
