I post IPL in the past 2.20, it wasn't 2.20 I just edited the the IPL 2.10 to 2.20 for someone has IPL 1.00 and need the 2.20 IPL
the problem that Jesterz took them and write this
Here are the files to upgrade your IPL to the latest official version
and make them sticky
so if anyone has IPL 2.13 or 2.15 he just downgarde his IPL
and they are not the last official they are 2.10 IPL

What are these?
I've upgraded to the Risidoro 2.26 rom, but my boot screen shows
IPL 2.24
SPL 2.26
Is there a way of upgrading the IPL, and is there any point?
don't know. what to post extra question. i'm running now molski 2.26, so ips and spl is 2.26. when downgrading ipl is changing to other but spl is still 2.26 ??
is this normal?

How to unlock CID?

Hi all. Tried and tried in vain, to replace the T-mobile splash screen, only to find out that the phone is CID locked.
Managed to upgrade to WM6 though, thanks to vlodeck and nocturne.op.15
Here's the phone details:
IPL: 2.06
SPL: 2.06.0000
GSM: 02.19.21
OS: 10.2.0.8 (WM6 by vlodeck & nocturne)
Oh, and also worth mentioning, my PC is running on Vista Ultimate, on which RUU's don't work. But some people said that if I install VMWare Virtual PC and install XP on that, RUU works through it.
So, how to unlock CID of this phone?

to cid unlock to need a ver. 1.xx of ipl/spl. And seeing you have 2.xx you cant really downgrade to ver.1.x
but can you told me whats rom have ispl ipl 1.x??
ok so saying you have ipl 1. what ever how do you cid unlock?

will have ipl and spl ver 1. wherever you can get to install or not, might work with a noID ruu. then you can use lokiwiz2 to unlock the CID
There are rom versions that have 1.xx IPL and SPL but from my own experience I know, that once you upgraded to 2.xx or more, you cant get back to 1.xx. The most you can get is 1.xx IPL and 2.xx SPL.

Maybe offtopic, but I have another question: If I have ROM from ERA GSM POLAND can I flash AKU3.3 TMobileUK ROM?

adexxx, you misunderstood me. You can't get 1.xx IPL and 1.xx SPL once you've already upgraded to 2.xx.
If it's an official ROM then you can flash it no problem. If its a custom ROM, use the tool I described in WM6 charmer thread.
When I tried to update with RUU: RUU_Charmer_38221_382127_026921_TMO_HR_WWE_Ship it showed error: INVALID VENDOR
What I'm doing wrong?
use wizard noID upgrade utility. it's some around here, maybe even in charmer forum.
OK, I flashed and it works fine.
Now I have 3.0 IPL&SPL, my 1st splash was changed.

Upgrading IPL/SPL

I have version 2.25 of the IPL/SPL for the cinguler 8125.
How do I upgrade it?
If you are not going to upgrade WM6, you don't need to upgrade IPL/SPL. (Actually, IPL 2.25 is already strong enough to use WM6, 3.08 only provide a little performance improvement)
I have upgraded to 6.0, which is why I am looking for the IPL upgrade

Upgrading IPL SPL to 3.08 i O2 MINI S from 1.05

Hi,
I have a O2 Mini S with black diamond 3.1 installed i would like to upgrade my IPL SPL from 1.05 to 3.08, I am asking this as some time back i had upgraded my radio rom to 2.71.xxx & had to reinstall the OS again after doing so..
any helps appreciated.

for me, the following worked:
- downgraded to WM5 AKU2 according to the description shown in all WM6 release threads
- updated the thing with the latest T-Mobile update
- re-flashed the OS partition (via pdocwrite.exe, you can use "shelltool" or whatever other names they gave for their wrappers). but the typho5/nb2nbf couple just does as well. only remember to leave out the unnecessary ipl/spl and not to flash the G4 one by accident. or leave out those entirely, it wont harm since you should already have a 3.08 SPL (and probably IPL) at that point.

i've to flash my wizard with german t-mobile rom, i flashed with CUSTOM__RUU_Wizard_1050412_WWE_101_11210_WWE evrething were ok and i've begin to flash with RUU_Vario_AKU3.3_3822_382120_026911_TMO_DE_GER_Ship.but nothing changed and now after flashing a new rom wizard loads CUSTOM__RUU_Wizard_1050412_WWE_101_11210_WWE this rom and freezes. ipl 1.01 spl 2.21 what shall i do?

If it is still "ipl 1.01 spl 2.21", then flash Buttons 1.05 ROM and CID unlock your device.
If it is now "ipl 1.01 spl 3.08.0001", then you mixed G3 IPL and G4 SPL. It is a high possibility that you are going to brick it. Try to flash with your original stock ROM. If that doesn't help, then it is a brick.
