Nope. Been using it pretty heavily for a few weeks and just tested using draw function in Notes. Only very light pressure required to draw in all areas of the screen.

This was from the beginning so or after 4 days. And I can understadn the touch sensitivity going down the Ipod has some issues with that aswell

Touchscreen issues are AWFUL

I love the n7...mostly. I want it to succeed
But the issues where the touchscreen will have dead zones / drop touch / not work properly are killing me!
Is this driving anyone else nuts? I have had two different ones, and they both have the problem.
I'm hopeful that either this will be a software fix, or that there will be a later hardware revision that I can rma for.
But man, this is a big problem!
Edit.....
Here is a post on the problem

ok, return and get a new one or demand a refund. I doubt no one here thought defects in a product were awesome, contact customer service
Are you not having these issues? I have had them on two different devices... Reports are starting to show up on the blogs.... I figured this was a device wide problem.

Im not having any issues either, but i havent played any tegra 3 specific games on it yet.
It only seems to happen sometimes... Particularly bad after playing intense games (dead trigger, e.g.).
Seems worse on the right side for me.
I in fact only took delivery of the 2nd one in the hopes that it wouldn't have the problem.

No issues here, played a few games and not a prob
Never seen any touch issues myself.
I had the issue this morning after powering up with the charger attached. The right hand side of the keyboard was very unresponsive. I was concerned the rooting I performed last night was contributing to the problem.
After powering off again it seemed to reset and has been working fine the rest of the day.
While it was unresponsive I downloaded a touch test app and it was struggling to see presses over 1/4 of the screen primarily the bottom right when in portrait orientation.
Thankfully it seems to be OK at present.

[Q] Touch problem while charging

I'm on 4.1.2...I seldom face touch problems "while charging"..i came to know about this problem by using an app, MULTITOUCH TESTER..It's like single touch at a time had no problem..but when I did multi touches, the touch problem occured.
Is this problem present in the 4.3 leaked ROM??
<<<<<PLEASE HELP>>>>
well I too face the same problem. the phone touch is either non responsive or it might lag. but it only happens when I plug in and try to play games. it lags even in small games like inotia4 where there is not so much load on the processor like playing dead trigger.

Its SP's problem. But he ask if this problem also exist on 4.3 Have you got Leaked 4.3??
Unlike on Opti-Contrast Panels, like on The ZR/Z/ZL, the SP has a small, small layer of air which slightly reduces the efficiency of the screen
I face that problem too for a long time, but now it has been fixed for me, unfortunately I just don't know whati do to make it fixed. it's fixed by it self. lol

it aint the phone's problem..its due to earthing..ma flat got poor earthing as its bit old..i tested this in ma cousin's brand new flat and used the phone while charging..it worked perfect as his flat had perfect earthing!

Yup earthing problem! Not phone or charger problem!

I seldom face touch problems "while charging" also, and I notice that problem might happened due to temperature rise during charging
But It did not happened any more after enabling "USB debugging" in "developer options".

[Q] Brand New Z1s screen issues

I bought the Z1s about 2 days ago and have since then noticed that there is a column of pixels that appear faint going down the mid-left side of the screen. It can only be seen in very high brightness setting and is easier to spot on top of grays. Also I have the erratic touch issue i've been reading about where the screen doesn't properly register a continuous touch. Is it worth starting an exchange chain with tmobile or am i just more likely to get the same or more defects on subsequent phones?

I'm absolutely sure a malfunctioning column of pixels is a definite reason to exchange but I've read that the erratic touch responsiveness of the screen is a common issue with Z1 owners. Just out of curiosity, do you have any such issue?

Yes, I had that issue and I sent back to repair mine but they didn't fine such a issue and they scratched my phone everywhere. I solved after the FW .136 fixed the problem and I don't see the issue anymore. Sometime seem like it losing the touch but slightly. No problem at all when I gaming.

I think everyone has that issue. Especially if you took off the ASF. It happens on mine sometimes, but just turning off and on the screen fixes it.

[Q] Want to buy nexus 6, are there still screen issues persisting?

Please help. I am planning to buy nexus 6. I have read a lot about nexus 6 display issues like burn in issues , uneven color, grey lines and lower half of screen freezing. Some say these are present in all devices to variable extent and in most exist in mild form.
Should i get nexus 6 ? does these screen issues still exist?
Else i will buy Galaxy s6

I've had mine since November 2014 and I have none of those issues.
Smooth sailing here
I keep it adaptive 66% brightness and its all good no burn-in that I can see I have noticed some specific apps like chrome cause a weird freeze on the right screen half happens maybe once a month with no pattern (a quick screen off/on fixes it could possibly be a custom kernel thing). Only other thing I'd say is the screen has a very warm color palette by default, I use code blue with kcal 237, 235, 255 to make a cooler feel, there's a thread about it somewhere. I've had mine since February.

The Galaxy S6 has lots more software issues then the N6 atm and besides that i have never personaly had this screen issue. The N6 is a great phone especialy now it is beeing discounted here and there (US and UK).
Been rocking N6 for last 1 month and i am loving it. No issues at all. Like u i was also very concerned to put into huge sum of money into N6 purchase after reading soooooo many discouraging videos and reviews and comments.
But i am using it as my daily driver for like 1 month now and i haven't seen any issue related to screen, battery, or even software. 5.1.1 is very stable.
I keep the adaptive brightness on and brightness level at 50% and i get 4 - 4.5 hours SOT with everything on...including google now, location history, location reporting high accuracy.
No screen burn, no battery swelling, no battery life issues, no screen freezes, bt yes i'll admit the screen colour is more on a warmer side.
I got a Nexus 6 from Google Play and a friend got one from Motorola in June 2015. Both have screen issues, one have vertical banding noticeable on gray or dark backgrounds, the other has a yellow tint and very uneven backlighting. I'm not sure if most have these issues and simply aren't bothered or what. Not sure what to do at this point.
Flawless here
No issues with mine ....
mine works fine never had any of the issues above
No issues for me.

There's no backlighting.
What I meant to say is that strips of the screen are brighter or darker than the rest of the screen and it looks blotchy. If I hadn't viewed a solid gray screen, I might not have noticed but this doesn't make me happy, especially knowing that Android M has a dark theme with lots of grays.
I've had my white 64gb from Motorola since March. Had it replaced once already for the screen tearing issue when running a custom dpi. The replacement I got a month ago does the same. Will be calling again soon

I got a nexus 6 at ATT through the next program a couple months ago. It had banding on the right side of the screen right out of the box. It was pretty discouraging. I took it back and got it swapped for another unit and honestly couldn't be happier. The n6 is an amazing phone.

Screen tearing or half black?
Issues relating to custom DPI happen on them all.
I received mine on 6/18, no issues other than a pink hue at low brightness (with adaptive brightness turned on) which seems to be software based.

Half black, and half freeze, which I've seen be referred to as screen tearing in just about all the posts I could find on it. Funny thing is on every kernel or ROM thread ice asked about it I've been told it does not happen on all of them. Seems many have had their phones replaced and had no issues in the replacement and that has led to people believing it's a hardware issue. Only other explanation I had seen was something about Franco saying it's a possible display driver issue. Sucks that I can't use Franco kernel at AOL because it becomes horrible

The tearing, which by that I mean freezing definitely seems to be a graphics card issue. The half-black if you change the DPI and rotate clockwise so buttons are on the bottom, afaik happens to them all. I think this is related to the GPU to, though I don';t think that is hardware issue. The tearing issue seems to manifest more when the device is warm/hot

The tearing is a graphics card software or hardware issue? I love this phone, but it's getting very frustrating. Especially since my RMA prices with Motorola turned out to be a series of clusterf*cks.
I'm running Chroma right now and with the included Franco it's unusable in both my phones at a lower dpi. Half screen freezes left and right within seconds of starting up. The reasons I initially believed it was software was that it only seems to happen in certain apps. Specifically ones that required a lot of scrolling, like XDA, Facebook, and chrome. But no one else in the thread seems to have the issue
The half black screen I figured had to be software because the soft buttons are still on the screen.
I just wish there was a solid answer so I could stop guessing

I've never had the tearing issue and not everyone has that one. The guys who have had an RMA have generally said that it had stopped the issue happening. Im not sure that has any link to DPI either. My suspician based on not really any evidence at all is that it is hardware related, since some have it and some do not.
The half black is definitely linked to DPI and there is no fix to that that I am aware. I just turn that rotation mode off so I can only go anti-clockwise.

The weird thing with me with the tearing is it only happens in certain situations and has been consistent across both devices I had. Certain kernels I get it, other ones I do not. Franco has been unusable for me on both. It has only happened at lower dpi. Never on stock. Send to be less frequent with interactive governors than ondemand or conservative

Screen touch sensor dead spot

I picked up a N920I in Australia 2 days ago and started noticing that when typing it was very hard to type on the top row of keys. I would often get double presses (tt) or 2 different keys would be pressed (tg).
Often times when scrolling it would also seem like I clicked when my finger didn't leave the screen, which resulted in opening things I didn't intend to like ads, etc.
So I did a sensor test using *#0*# and found there is an area on the screen that is dead or senses very irratically.
Spen works fine and it only is the touch sensor.
Is this a hardware issue and should I exchange the unit, or is this a software bug.?
I'm on DVU1AOH2, updated last night.
