Hi all,
I have problem with my XDA IIs, a can't loudspeaker on when
incoming and outgoing call after upgrading to WM6.
Because the icon loudspeaker is gone
pls advise..
Don't need Icon, You can press Phone Button (greenlight) about 2-3 s, Speaker on, off it do same again.
Try!!!
Have fun
thank's b4,
but that way does'nt work,
if i have incoming call and then i press Phone Button (greenlight), only hold phone incoming.
You were supposed to HOLD it not to release after you've pressed it. Try this: enter a number on the dial pad then instead of just one press, hold the green phone. It must work!
Hi HexBox,
sometimes it work even its very hard to do it.
I think the problem is with my Button, but why in WM2003 everything is normal ?
what should i do
thank's

I got a really strange bug. I've upgraded to the RUU_Prodigy_1060701_101_11310_QTEK_WWE_Ship.exe
and installed Default_Prodigy_Nordic_keyboard_1102.sa.CAB for the swedish keyboard.
When the phone rings and I want to mute it by pressing volume up the phone will never ring again until soft-reset!
I checked on my friend's unupgraded qtek and it worked correctly, it muted the ring tone but rang again when the next call came. My phone mutes the ring tone forever. Anyone else experience the same problem or is it just me?

Ok I found the problem, it was a bug in PQZ (http://www.nicque.com/PQz/) which I had running. Fixed in the latest version.

I have a TyTn II and am very satisfied with it. However I have an annoying problem and would appreciate any help to fix it. When I have an incoming call, according to the instruction manual I can answer either by pressing the "Call" button (the one with the green telephone symbol) or by touching the softkey for "answer" (or the area on the touchscreen where "answer" is written). In practice, only the second method works. I have lost calls by insisting on keeping the call button pressed instead of using the softkey.
The call button works just fine for accessing the phone dialer, so it is not a hardware problem. Is there somewhere in the registry where the call button has to be mapped to answer incoming calls?
I live in Italy and use TIM as a provider. This should not influence things at all.
I am having a similar problem with my Mogul, except neither the green call button nor the "answer" softkey will work for me.
Is there a way to simply REJECT incoming call (caller hears 'busy' signal when i press red button)?
For now there's no difference between pressing end call hardware button, 'igore' software button, mute ring button and flipping the phone. Every action just mute ring, but DO NOT REJECT.
And I want to REJECT caller, when i want him to know that his call is not welcome in that moment.
Thx for help or tips how to make it work
press the hangup key?
The End Call hardware button definitely rejects. Does it not?
End call hardware button = hangup key = definitely NOT or maybe it's a matter of setting which i don't know where to look ;(
OK, just tried. I called myself from a different phone. The moment I press the hardware button I hear the busy signal...
ok, i tried too from 2 other phones - no busy signal - after pressing hardware button cannot do anything on Diamond, until other caller hangs off.
The moment of hangin off is thee moment when today screen backs.
strange... - settings maybe????
**********
OK, GOT IT!
Problem is in settings -> Phone -> Band
When set to auto - problem occurs
When manually set network type
red button really rejects.
Problem solved
But I still wonder why
I have exactly the same behaviour with my Diamond on Orange Switzerland Network. Changing the band settings to manual solved the problem! thanks for the tip!
But I'm wondering why too... :-/
Does not work here. (o2, Germany). If I get a call and press the reject button on screen the caller hears the message that the number is not availbale instead of a bussy signal.
Has someone a solution please cause this behavour is very confusing for the caller.
Thank you!
Solved the problem
I have set the wrong voice box number Now if someone calls me and I reject the call using the reject button the caller gets routed to my voicebox...
thanks........
hi. sorry for my english.today my diamond doesnt ring.it vibrates but it doesnt react to an incoming call with sound.I look sounds and notifications.there isnt a problem.how can i fix it ?thanks
Soft reset the phone, the button is underneath the stylus compartment.
I did it but doesnt ring too.i solved the problem.in the system status there is system volume and near it ring volume.my ring volume was minumum ı dont know there was a ring volume .thanks for ur reply
Thanks for this! You wouldn't beleive how puzzled this had me today! I was about to give up on the phone since I was missing calls al day!
I had the same issue, on the volume screen there is a grey arrow at the top once you turn up the system volume, click the grey arrow and tun up the ring volume...
is there a way to set the center navigation button to answer a call and automatically set it to speaker phone mode? currently, i have to push the green button (or slide finger to the left) to answer the call, than i have to slide down a button to access call options, than push speaker phone button. as you can see, its a lot of work to answer a call and than putting it into speaker phone. any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks.
