Hello. How can I syncronize with activesync (cable usb) and install programs with charge the batterie of kaiser.
Thanks.
yes, you can.
Start>Settings>System>Power then click on the Advanced tab and check the "When Device is turned on, do not charge the battery when connected to the PC"
Start --> Settings --> System --> Power --> Advanced (tab) --> "If the device is turned on and connected to a PC....."
Check that option (translated from Dutch ROM, wording may be a tad bit different).

Hello,
I use Shekars WM6.1 and On my computer I have activesync 4.5 installed. The device connects when the computer is booted up. Then If I remove the device and place it back in the cradle it will not reconnect. Only way to fix this is to restart computer.
Anyone else had this problem?
Advanced USB services....Disable
Which services are these in particular?
The only thing I could fine was on my pocket pc under Connections > "USB TO PC" settings, the checkbox "Enable advanced network functionality" I disabled that but my device was unable to connect.
Apart from that I don't know what you mean by Advanced USB Services, Is it on my PC or Device?
Me to
Here same problem..... i flash the 6.1 rom, and after that, when i put my PPC on crandle is blocking.
WHY ?
I did a hard reset. I uninstalled WMDC, but still nothing. The phone charges however, which I dont get. How can i fix this?
This happens to me if I use the USB ports on my monitor. I actually like this sometimes. When I plug into the direct ports (try ones on the backplane) there is now such issues. This is independent of the issue of having an unrecognisd usb devices in devman which may be your problem. If so, remove that item in device manager, unplug the tilt and replug it in.
Also I assume u have active sync enabled.
im using a laptop...
what is the name of the driver in device manager? i tried to do that, but i didnt see anything listed that could be the tilt.
thanks for your reponse btw
i had that happen to me. in connections in the settings menu, under usb to pc, do you have the "enable advanced network functionality" checked? i unchecked that and then my phone synced.

forgot to mention i tried that as well!
make sure windows mobile device connectivity(in services) is on automatic? And you did not mention if you reinstalled WMDC, only uninstalled.
dunno if you've tried this yet, but under vista mine won't sync unless I open the wmdc before I plug in. It's not enough just to have the sync icon in the taskbar, I have click the green ball icon before I plug in. make sure when you open it to allow usb connections in the connection settings. also, try a bluetooth sync to make sure your tilt is playing nice with vista. this should tell you if it's a usb problem or a communication problem.
hope this helps

My T-Mobile MDA Compact IV has suddenly developed a problem in that it won't connect (automatically or otherwise) to my PC or laptop. Until today it would give me the option of connecting as a 'Disk Drive' or 'Active Sync'
It simply just starts charging on my desktop but on the laptop the window pops up asking if I want to play media files, etc etc etc.
Anyone got any ideas what the problem might be and what I might be able to do to rectify it.
Thanks in advance for any help
go to settings > connections > usb to pc and set connection for active sync. if you rather check "ask before connecting", the device will pop up a choice of connection types everytime you plug it to the usb plug...

You sir, are a flippin' star
The AS and "ask" check boxes were .....errrrrr....... unchecked.
When I plug my Kaiser into my PC, the pc doesnt pick it up, and the phone doesnt charge. I've check the cable and port with other devices, and they were fine. I haven't changed the computer at all either. The phone says it is charging when you first plug it into USB, but the orange charge light does not come on, and after a while it stops saying its charging in the power monitor.
If I plug it into the wall charger, the light comes on and it charges as normal. The headphones also still work fine.
I haven't changed my PC at all, and everyhting used to work just fine. Does this sound like a hardware problem? Is there anyhting else I can do to test it?
If anyone has any suggestion I'd be grateful,
Thanks

If you've changed settings in the phone then make sure the tickbox under Settings -> System -> Power -> Advanced labelled 'When device is turned on, do not charge battery when connected to the PC' is unticked. Also under Settings -> Connections -> USB to PC, if you've ticked 'Enable Advanced Networking Functionality' then that can explain the lack of an ActiveSync Connection as some USB ports aren't up to that. What sort of USB port are you using (for example and old USB 1.1 port built into the motherboard)?

Suggesting the USB port itself is still OK (otherwise the charging problem would remain even though the audio pins are different to those used when synching.

Try it on another PC with Activesync 4.5 or WMDC 6.1 installed (according to which OS you're running on it). Otherwise if checking all the above configuration setting is to fiddly for you and you've nothing to loose off the phone, ensure your storage card is NOT encrypted and perform a hard reset. Read your manual or the xda-wiki if you need further info on how to do this.
