I know there is a way to change the display clock to use 24-hour ('military') time. I've seen it, I know I have. But now that I want to use it I cannot find it. Where did HTC and/or at&t hide it?
Nevermind...
start / settings / system / regional settings / time (tab).
I hate when that happens... (you find it as soon as you ask someone)
tnx, I was wondering the same thing. Although I just went there and I dont see an option for 24 hour time..
Time Style: HH:mm:ss
tnx, sorry HUA syndrome.. found it

I'm looking the way to modify the HTC home, not the HTC home plugin.
I tried to edit the registry but I don't have the string Tabsetting under HTC Home.
I wouldlike to remove the weather tab and to reduce the size of the clock.
Thanks
There is a little app that lets you do that written by emunutz that will do that here is a link.

Are you deaf, or just a little ignorent? The previous poster gave you the exact answer to your question...download the app, tweak the settings, and say "thank you my friends"!
The only other HTC Home plugin you might be referring to, is the small oneline todayplugin that can do almost nothing, and certainly doesn't feature any tabs.....so please; what are you jabbering about? (or be a little more exact as to what you mean)...thanks
where is the link just for the original HTC home plugin screen? when i get my kaiser id like to have it, then use this software as well. or does this software come with it?
is this it here:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=1388377&postcount=609
or is there a better one someone could link me to?
To Moaske
Be quite and not be so offensive!!!!! I told that because i tried that program and i didn't obtain nothing. So, if you're so expert please can you tell me how to reduce the size of the clock with that program?!?!
Thanks
No, you cant change the clock size, because all the other tabs are using the same "height".
The only customizer is the one that has been described.
Other than that, there are several options for you:
1. Hack and create your own tool
2. Contact HTC and beg them to make such changes
3. Dont use HTC Home plugin
4. ...

Ok. Thank you very much for the correct (and quite) answer. Thanks
LOL! this is too funny. calling someone ignorant when he didnt say a thing to provoke it. he asked about customizing and to DECREASE the size of the clock. the link sent him to a program that yes can customize the tabs and the clock color/appearance. BUT it does not allow you to change the size. If he could create his own tool he would have done so. tough internet talk is played out. Im new here but not new to the world of ppc's and forum BS. save the tough **** for the street.
Ehm....my mistake...
But this quote seriously got me thinking that Mr DOC190401 didn't even quite look into to the solution offered, and mixing up two totally different today-plugins....

Anyway; changing the clocksize isn't an option right now (though someone will undoubtly come with something)...
After reading this back today (and the reactions) i might have dimmed my tone a bit more....but after visiting this forum quite some time, it bugs me how many people don't actually read a thread, or do a search, or even want to try something out.... (aspecially since i asked the very same question (almost) just two threads down when you posted, where you also double-posted)
I for one have found that i could solve most of my issues here, without even asking something new.... just read carefully and try something before opening various new threads on the same topic.
Anyway.... sorry for being 'offensive' (as you called that)
No problem
First of all scuse me.
I just said what I said only because in that post I didn't found the solution to the problem of "big size clock". I did various search on this board about that problem without any solution.
So scuse for my tone.
Bye bye

Absolutely!!! You uncheck the HTC home plug in. Yes thats the only way to do it as of now. Someone is going to build a new plug in that doesnt have the clock in it.
Or...
You can get phoneAlarm and download the Mini Touch skin.
Don't forget to disable the HTC Home Today Plugin!
Works for me...
hooo yessss
mmmmmm
Ok.Thanks. I'll try it
Bigger clock
I wish I had a bigger clock. Just an extra 1 inch would be awesome.
Clock
Now that i have the factory shipped ROM, my clock is much bigger. just what i needed!

Didn't know these existed. Thanks! My Tilt is still going...even after 3.5 years.
Question for you. How the HELL do you get 12 hour instead of 24 on the damn clock? When i first booted this up from new it had it but then the ****ty Orange customisation seemed to kill it and put it on 24 format which i do not like one bit. Any suggestions or tips? Shout back, reply, Private Message me... whatever!!!

Easy,
Settings ~> System ~> Regional Settings
There's a Time tab where you can pick from a list what format you want.

The settings are capital H's (ie HH:mm) for 24hour time, or lower case for the am/pm time.

that would be cool on the diamond
Sad to say that this tread is dead...
I gues its not a funktion worth exploring...

I even have the original 1.93.707.1 ROM mate :S
It's G-Alarm. It is scheduled to set itself up again (in case you played around with the native alarm setting). You can check the notification queue (using software like SKTools) to see it.

If I'm not mistaken, it has something to do with the Manila's alarm clock in the Today screen or the native Alarm setting page.
Anyway, there is no way to deactivate it. You need to ask the author why he called GAlarmReload 1 minute before midnight and 1 minute before each alarm is set to go off.
You can deactivate it if you want in the setting.xml of g-alarm.
Just look here, the last option:

Yes mate your ri8...but what will be the effect of deactivating such an option?
It says that "it may happen that an alarm doesn't go off"...what this mean bro?
Your help is much appreciated m8.
i don't know what exactly this means, but i deactivated this option for weeks now and haven't noticed any difference. Everything works as it should and the diamond doesnt't go on at midnight.
Hope i could help

Just wondering does anyone know how to change the time?
Also, whenever someone calls it doesnt slide to answer/ignore? Anyone know how i could fix this
Sorry, but what do you mean with change time? Timeformat?
Slide to answer? Did you try the S2U2 settings and switch the functions on?
As far as I know the time synchronises with the phones clock, you just have to go into the S2U2 settings and switch the options around. Same for the S2 Answer/Ignore! Unless youve got the older S2U2 which I dont believe had the menu?

Or alternatively, if by changing time you mean changing the appearance of the clocks, you'll find the other clock skins along with the main installer in the zip file you downloaded. Unzip these to the gfx folder under s2u2. Of course assuming that you downloaded the latest version i.e. 1.37.
When i say change the time, i mean the 24 hour clock. Mine goes from 0:00 to 24:00, i would like to have a 12 hour clock( or US time? or w/e).
I looked in the settings and dont see any answer button
Edit: Wow, I am a moron. I did not realize you could scroll up and down in the settings, I just thought there were only like 6(the first ones you see when you open up the settings).
Sorry everyone, thanks for the help though.
