Calibrating att kaiser battery

Hey guys, as stated in the title, how do i calibrate my battery? Because I know it used to last longer than this. Thanks.
I don't think you do. If it's over a year old I would suggest replacing it. Batteries don't last forever.
well, do you know how?I just want to see what will happen. Thanks
As stated, I don't think you do. If it's possible a simple search will lead you to the answer.
Ok thanks. I did some trial testing and I think it's the battery itself being 1.5 Years old and have been used and charged about 2 times a day for 1 and a hal years lol. Thanks!
You can now close the thread to whoever!
My battery used to last a couple of days before I had to charge it.

[Q] Are these batteries any good?

Well, i was browsing stuff on ebay, and came across these batteries very cheap (0.11 cents plus 9 bucks shipping) and i wanted to know if they were any good or if they would blow up my phone.
I bought these for the hell of it. still waiting to receive them
Me too, and there was just 1 minute left before the bid ended XP
I got 2. Maybe it was something software wise but my battery indicater was all over the map. It once said I had 52% left and then after a reboot it said 74% they work great as a backup but I wasn't too happy using them as my primary batteries. The stock one registered fine before and after. I even tried clearing the battery stats and tried again with the same results.

will check whenever i recieve them, this does not sound too good. is this much of a problem?
Hello, I'm new here and was looking around and saw this thread. I have these batteries and charger. They are as good as the stock battery and the charger works good. I also got two of the 3500mah with a charger and back cover for $22.99. I'm getting over 44hrs uptime with them. I am currently at 68% with 22 hrs uptime and 4.5 hrs awake time. They've gotten better after three charges. It's nice to go a whole day without worrying about juice.

Yes, and also, if you have the android sdk on your computer, you can look in the tools folder for an program that monitors your phone. I do not recap the name of the program, but a quick google search should help you

I bought this package the first week I got my phone it's well worth it, as I'm a heavy user and use 2 or 3 a day. they last about 80-90% of the stock battery (in my experience).

Well i figured it out. I got a screen shot but how do I upload the pic from my pc to here. When I click the icon to add a pic it asks for a URL for the pic. Do I have to upload it to a web site first?
I think I got it. I had 54% battery left and the battery is a 3500mah from Hong Kong.
well, i finally got them, they are 1500 mah, and they are about a millimeter thicker than the oem 1300 batts, its a bit harder to put the back on, and i dont notice any wierd battery notification icons. i will be on the road tomorrow, so i can record watever i get, and post it here

[Q] Burning problem...

Hello all...
1st of all good work on all FW´s that come out from this site ...
now my problem.
I just got a brand new Galaxy S, and i need your help to see if the problem is me or the phone.
Problem 1:
When ever i put the phone to charge, it get so hot on the speaker that you cant put it next to your ear.
I got my self a new charger.... same thing... new USB cable... same thing.
I have changed the FW to JPK´s FW with droid 2.2 froyo.
Problem 2:
they sell this phone as a phone 4 internet use, but if i use it.. the battery runs dry in about 40 min...
Question:
- has any of you had the same problem ?
- does it have anything to do with the FW upgrade ?
I think it´s a hardware problem but i just whant to be sure.
Thank´s 4 all your help.

If u use the phone when its on the charger then yes it does get warm
And the battery might of been wasted because of some app your using, I was using a custom lockscreen and it drained 50% of my battery in 10 min, YES 10 min.
Try XXJPM with darkkys steel
My galaxy s is good with that

I have a Galaxy S GT-I9000 and I don't have this problems, with stock firmware I navigate for 2 or 3 hours without run dry all the battery.. maybe it's a battery issue of your phone.

thnk m8... i will give it a try.
Regarding the battery problem,
keep in mind that youre phone is brand new. AFAIK all batteries need a few cycles of loading to get their full capacity. In the first two weeks my sgs didn't make it through the whole day of usage, whereas now it has about 60% at the end of the day (Nighttime = Loading. Usagetime without or very little charging (when i plug it in @work to listen music = 08:00 AM - 11:30 PM)
(Sorry for my bad english)
mmmm could be that.
What FW do you guys use ? and how do i install it ....
Thnkx

[Q] Battery won't charge after going flat

Hello guys!
You have been helpful to me once, i was hoping that you will be able to help me again.
On friday morning my Xperia Z battery went flat, my phone turned off and all that stuff. You can imagine my surprize when i plugged the phone to my wall charger and nothing happened. It's like this still although the phone was plugged to the charger these past two days. Has anyone else encountered this, and managed to solve it?
Thanks in advance
S.
P.S. Yes, i did google, found even two or three topics on the matter, but no dependable answer. :|

It was happened for me same day same time. It is really annoying and I can't even restore my device to factory original set. I spend all yesterday night to find all possible solutions. Yes I tried (hard reset), (charged on USB duck and PC for 24 hours).
There may be some problem with your charger. My X10Mini did not charge with normal charger suddenly, so I changed charger and works well. I think you should try another charger or dock.

[Q] Do u ever encounter this problem on the Note N7000?

okay..happened 2 days ago..didn't flashed new ROM or anything..just blam!
here goes..
Something wrong with my charging capability.
Says on the display its charging..(have the bolt sign ) but...it seems its going downwards..not upwards..
from 10% to slowly 9% and so on...
what seems to have caused it?
i have done the following..
1 check the usb slot see anything wrong..dust etc..
2 used 3 x type of usb cables and 2 x type of plugs..
3 connected to com..yes is charging but same as above..10% to 9%..
4 have used other batteries i have 3 x batteries.. all e same..
oh..
have the thought of getting a part from Ebay to replace it myself...but just wanna confirm issit the charging port faulty...anyone had the similar problem?
no warrany/export set for this set..so cant really go to service centre to get it fixed(FOC in a way..haha)
Have the same problem. I use a different charger now to charge my 4 batteries. Also, I noticed that my unit heats up fast especially if I put it in my pocket even when mobile data and tethering is turned off. I use tethering a lot so I use 3 of my 4 batteries daily since I can no longer charge my batteries from my phone directly. So far, I haven't found any solution to this. My rom is official jb 4.1.2 and not rooted.

Another thing, my old batteries gives me : original - 7 hours, ebay extended batteries - 8-9 hours and new replacement battery - 8-10 hours when data and tethering are turned off.
However when both are on, original - 2.5 hrs, extended batteries - 3-4 hrs and new - 3 hours.
My unit is about a year old.
