i installed hardSPL and now im confused - Tilt, TyTN II, MDA Vario III General

i just installed this and my phone rebooted, whats the next step to getting HTC Rom on my phone?
also, how do i install .cabs? where do i upload them
ive read the stickies and wiki but its all confusing, can someone just explain it in laymans terms

All HardSPL does is unlock the ROM portion of your phone so that you can load new ones from any provider. Now you have to download the ROM that you want to load, and follow the instructions.
As far as getting cabs onto your phone, there are a lot of ways to do it, but the easiest is to connect to ActiveSync, Click the Explore button on the ActiveSync window, and copy the cabs someplace where you can easily find them (I put them in the root of my Storage Card). Then open File Explorer on your phone, navigate to that directory, and tap the cab. That will start the installer.
If you're having this much trouble doing this, though, I'd advise against loading a custom ROM and things of that nature. While it's possible to recover from a mistake, it might be beyond your proficiency level.

If you are asking how to install a CAB, IMHO, you should not be trying to flash your ROM.
A CAB is like a setup.exe on windows. Just copy the file to your device and open it to start the install process.
Seriously, I know it is hard figuring out all the info, and I don't even claim to know as much as I should after doing several ROM flashes on 3 different devices, but I do know it is possible to get you phone into an unusuable state for which none of the sellers will provide support for. Basically, you are on your own, and I can sya you will be hard pressed to get help without learing the ropes like the people in the know had to do. So basically, keep reading...

WM6 Step by Step

Hello to all,
Can it someone explain to me in steps how I can install WM6 on my HTC3600?
Currently is on Germany language, but I would like to switch it on English.
Thanks a lot on your help.
Regards
1) decide which rom you want (I used LVSW)
2) go to the thread and read 1st post
3) grab the 3 files attached
4) they are zip's, extract each to thier OWN folder.
5) go to each folder IN TURN as listed in the thread and run ROMUtilityUpgrade that is enclosed IN EACH folder.
STOP between each folder / Upload to phone and check your phone
THE VERY first one HardSPL MAY give an error, HOWEVER just run it again, seems ActivSync throw a fit and then the computer has to re-connect, HOWEVER after that off you go.
ALSO use NON-Vista machine

Can you give to me little help with a GPS tomtom 6....?
What I need to download and install?
No worries
What exactly do you want to know about tom tom?
First off I'll assume you are buying the software. In which case you want this
http://www.tomtom.com/products/product.php?ID=281&Category=2&Lid=1
now you dont have to buy it from them direct, however that is the product you want (it may be cheaoer elsewhere)
If it's already on a memory card.... just pop the card in the slot and it'll do everything for you.
I would HIGHLY recommend making a copy of the card contents to your computer, just use activ synch and explre the device till you get to the storage card then copy and paste the entire contents of the card to somewhere safe.......
Then EITHER push this up to a larger card or carry on with the card you buy.
Install Tom Tom home on your computer, it will then synchronise your maps and voices and stuff BUT more importantly it'll auto update your software for you.
You need to be running 6.03
in this version tom tom can be set to use "built in gps receiver" after that away you go... simple and Deech proof
edit for spelling mistakes
lol.. you are really fast....
can it be anything without buying orginal software or maps ?
It can and if you know where to look I am sure you will find what you seek young Jedi
I arent going to preach but note I did buy this software mainly for updates and technical back up
If you "acquire" the software read any threads / forums from the place where you get it from
Fast cos laid on the couch nursing a size 10 thick head after last night
ihihihihihi...
okay..... i will search... my the force be with me
Again problem,
Im facing with extremly battery drain, after charging standby was just 36 hours, before was around 5-7 days i think.
Is there any solution for this??
Thank you... Mr.Vader
An my young jedi, yes there is....... and if I can get it to work it should be attached to this post.... Also read the MuN RUS Rom thread it has been flagged-up thier with alsorts of solutions including this .cab
Drop it onto your memory card and ermmm run it
I get an corrupted image error when I try and flash the hard-spl?
Anyone know how I can get around this? tried searching for info and the search function just brang up unrelated posts, and theres nothing on the wiki despite it being a common problem.
So please forgive my stupidity, and enlighten me on how to solve this?
I have an M700 with shipped rom installed
Thanks in advance,
WWWeed
after i upgrade to wm6, how hard is it if i want to go back to wm5, how hard is it to downgrade? Do I have to back anything up?
back up contacts etc
back up ringtones etc
grab a rom with WM5 in / on it, and re-re-flash the phone, leave the radio rom as it was mind as it's seperate from the WM section

Ahhh great thanks.
Just what I was after.
As you are using the LVSW like myself you may have an answer to my other question.
Is there a .cab file to fix the awefull sound on WM6 and the trinity?
Media player is so quiet, if I can't fix it, I'm going back a stage to WM5 as I use the MP3 player side of it allot.
Many thanks.
Shaun.
Hi,
i have just loaded wm6 following the instructions here and now i am getting USB device is not recognized.
Can anyone suggest a solution?
Thanks
Stephen
are there any issues not completely solved on the available non-official WM6 ROMs for Trinity?
I'd like to upgrade mine, but only if all the initial problems have already been solved.
BTW, my Trinity came with TomTom 6 pre-installed. If I upgrade to WM6, will I have to purchase and install a new copy of the software?
All seems to work fine now, any issues then there will be a .cab file around here somewhere, main ones are ATIfix, when does somthing to make tomtom work nicely, power fix which address' some power useage issues.
The tomtom that come with the handset is a crippled try before you buy version (well it is here in the UK ) So ermmm yes, you would need to buy a full version, but on the plus side it's yours forever and no matter what you do to your phone you can always put it back Unless the tom tom is on your SD card in which case REMOVE the card before you start and re-install when you've finished rom-ing
Failed with upgrade to wm6
Hi all
I just got mine 3600 and tried to upgrade to wm6 with the 3 files. When I run the first hard-spl program I had problems with the connection with the usb cable. The program aborted after a second or so. Now I am stucked with this colured image with the text
TRIN100
IPL-0.50
TRIN100
SPL-1.07.0000
is there any way for me to correct this. Or do I have to send the phone for repair?
Grateful for all help
/adam
Active sync doesn't get a connection to the 3600 anymore....
Read the second post in this thread, on page one, in the instructions I wrote it tells you THIS IS NORMAL, dont worry about activesync, when doing hard SPL the first time it regularly disconects and hangs the phone with the tri-colour screen, soft reset the phone and re-start the procees (ie run the first file again). That should see you right

Any non-programers understand this stuff?

ok, I have read all there is to read on this site and on WIKI. What good is it if what I am reading makes no sense to me? I know what .cab files are and how to use them, but what is a .rar file and how do I unrar or unzip it? Do i really need to create files in DOS?
All I want to do is upgrade my BA (sx66/cingular using unlocked on tmobile) to windows mobile 5.0. I know there are way too many threads on here about people who are getting stuck or having certain errors or need help in some way. I can't even get started! The few "step by step" guides I found, start off easy enough an 3 steps into it they referring to things that I have no idea what they are or how to do (yes i have read all the "please read before asking questions" stuff) Again what good does it do if you dont know what you are reading. Maybe its not broken down into simple enough terms for the average joe.
In any event, is there anyone that can shed some light on this stuff for me or aid me in a walk through. Or am I just out of luck because of my lack of software engineering knowledge? Thanks for your time all and I appreciate any feedback. Surely there is someone out there as dumb as I in this area that made it through (or at least I can hope)
You need winrar (www.winrar.com) to "unrar" the files in order to use them.
Winrar works just like winzip but it handle .rar files. So basicly you will download winrar to your computer, install it, then download the rar file with the rom you want to upgrade your device.
Using winrar open the rom archive and extract to a folder on your computer.
Run build.exe, select the options you want for your rom and press the > button.
From there do as the guide says.
spunk32, calm down We are here to help, not kill newbies
Two things:
1. When you don't understand some terms like "unrar" that not PDA-related, just google it. Things like this are considered basic here
2. When you have specific problem about one of the points, post a question (let's keep it in this thread) and smb will try to explain. But try to understand some of us, that we are not going to explain how to copy or download a file
General comment:
ROM upgrading is not totally safe and error-prune. You have to understand fully what are you doing and what for/what is the result. Basic knowledge of the way the PDA works is also good, to make good decisions on the way. That's why I do not consider updating (especially BA from WM2003 to WM5) as a task for everybody (for ex. I think that updating WM5 to WM6 with full unlocking of Hermes is much easier, but still not safe).
I would propose you to use Baniaczek's ROM (instead of XPlode rom cooking set - I looked at the PDF guide - yes, this one is complex, but some of the pictures might be helpful) as there is one step less on the way.
Full guide for you is here (on bottom of the page)
http://wiki.xda-developers.com/index.php?pagename=Helmi
You should go through all the options here, when you update from WM2003. Remeber, that going back to 2003 needs to go through another procedure, that will recreate ExtROM (yes, this is one of the magic words you should understand to play with ROMs).
Thanks for the info guys. ill delve a little deeper and see what happens. im sure ill be back on here with a post when i come to another speed bump. thanks again.
ok, i have gotten this far: downloaded winrar software, downloaded the following ROM-Helmi_BA_WM2k5_AKU3.5_v1.4.CF2.R2. Then I clicked on MaUpgradeUt_noID.exe. When i click continue on the welcome screen, the next screen shows "software converting from....to..." all the data fields are blank. Is this normal and am I on the right path? I did NOT click on upgrade to continue the process b/c I wasnt sure if I had missed something. Thanks again all.
Read what I posted moment ago in "No data from device in MyUpgradeUt" thread. I just checked again screen while updating Xplode on my BA:
In From fields there is only Radio version
In To fields, I have only Ce Image Version: 5.35.05
All other fields are emplty (and not important after all, especially nonexisting ExtROM).
Press your power button, the record button (has a cassette on it) and your reset button at the same time. Wait for the Serial or USB to show on the screen (will be dark) then flash your ROM.
It is in the forums around here somewhere on how to do that but I am to busy to find it for you to post a link.
ok, i think i made a mistake. i got as far as the step where it says you MUST say YES to the first two things on the reboot screen or whatever. all of them said NO, i tried to change it to YES , but i did not know how to change it. i hit the mail button and the screen white and loaded as is. how do i get back to the screen where i need to make the "YES" changes and how do i change NO to YES??
ok, i re-read and saw where i missed how to toggle the YES/NO. so since i was dumb enough to miss that what have i done by not changing the "NO"s to "YES"s? The device seems to be working fine. Is there something that I am not aware of yet?
If you restarted the device and made the hard reset again, this time correctly (selecting proper settings) device should work fine.
You might not noticed, but if you take battery out for while and then start the device, radio won't start (there will be no version next to letter R - means GSM mopdule won't work). You need to make soft reset few secs after first starting of the device to make it run. This is on of not so many problematic things with BA under WM5.
i have not done anything to reset the "yes/no" settings and the device has been working fine all day. i dont ever take off my battery so hopefully i wont have the problem you were refering to.
also, is there any way to remove the camera software since i dont have a camera on my device.
how do i upgrade the radio? i tried WIKI, but i got error messages and when i tried to follow the troubleshooting the links didnt work. outdated i guess.
If you never done correctly hardreset of you BA, you should - you can have a lot of odd problems without hard reset after installing (or upgrading) WM5.
Radio: I followed Wiki and made update radio (1 year ago) from some old version up to 1.13 - without any problems. Follow step after step and port exact error message and on what was happening a this exact moment.
ok, i reset and corrected to NO, YES, YES. thanks. what about removing camera data? any ideas?
You cannot delete apps that are already included in the ROM - this is Read Only Memory, as you know.
When you feel comfortable with flashing and playing with all those files, you will be ready to try xplode kitchen in which you can just select stuff you need to be included in the rom. Manual is a bit longer but still nothing really hard. You can find PDF with full instruction on Wiki pages.
ok i understand what your saying about the camera app. i have tried many times and many versions of the radio upgrade and none work. i have gotten just about every error code there is. am i supposed to be in that "boot" mode when i run it or simple be synced? ill keep looking for a thread that has recent info, but what i see is out of date with links that are no good.
You should follow http://wiki.xda-developers.com/index.php?pagename=BA_Radio_1.15_Upgrade and Second Methord Type I EASY (this is the one I used). Because you have no camera, you device is PH20B1, but AFAIK radio is the same.
You need to put your device in "serial" booloader mode (non backlighted screen, "serial" or "USB" written in lower part of the screen depending on USB cable connected or not (Power+Softreset+Record).
blue tooth wont turn on
the wm5.0 has been working great. the only problem i am having is that the blue tooth wont turn on. i have tried every method of enabling it, but it always shuts itself off. any ideas?

Some help please

I've been reading and trying this for days with no luck. I've fully unlocked my wizard and I'm now trying to flash to the 318 rom. But I have no clue how to do it. Could someone walk me through ho to do it? Most of the flashing done thus far has been an EXE file or through DOS. I must be missing something simple.
please help

I followed that one already. That's how I unlocked it. But all step 3.8 says is "your ready to flash...". Right now I don't understand exactly how to flash and I'd prefer not to "trial and error" it.
However, this morning I did open up the Hypercore kitchen and I think I'm on the right track. I'm at work so I can't try anything but I've printed up everything in that thread including all it's links and I'm going to give it a go once I get home. I'll report back once that's done.
Alright, after some more research and reading in the hypercore kitchen thread and all it's links, I think I may have it figured out.
I download and extract the files for the ROM I want, in this case 318 8.1 from theloon.
I then follow the instructions linked int he hypercore thread with dumping, and the pkgtool, buildos, etc.. If followed correctly, my wizard should be flashed with the new rom correct?
A confirmation would be nice. Any other comments you have are a bonus.
Another question though; what's the difference between the programs contained in the SYS and OEM folders compared to the ones in the build OS that i have the select? Aren't the ones in the folders already included in the ROM?
Your help would be greatly appreciated. I don't get confused too easily so as you can imagine i'm quite frustrated. I used to flash new versions and programs to my Razr but it was nothing like this.
dont get me wrong are you trying to cook your own rom, because hypercore is a kitchen, i suggest you download one of the roms that are made by reputable cooks, like the NBD series, TNT series, paradox, xmr, faria's, ingenetics, octavio's they differ in the apps and costumization included in the os and the builds, so just select download and flash
there's an executable file inside the roms once you unzip it and be careful if your using xp or vista
The only things I've been working with up until this point is BuildOS and nb2nbf. I haven't fully grasped the definition of "cooking" yet; whether it means altering files for my self or if the BuildOS selection list is considered cooking.
I think i was trying to do too much and using a file different from the one being referenced in the tutorial was a bit confusing. So to start, I decided to use Faria's Crossbow and the tutorial that came with it. It was very easy and I was able to flash my Wizard to that ROM without a problem. But the one i really want is Theloon's 318.
So, based off of what I learned last night I figured I just needed to replace the OEM, ROM, and SYS folders that came up when I unzipped Faria's crossbow with the ones from 318. Is this correct? Because I just tried that this morning and I get all the way to the CMD prompt right before it opens nb2nbf and it gives me an error (see attacment). If there's one thing I've learned from all these bricked devices floating around, it's to NEVER proceed when an error occurs.
What does this error mean? How can I fix it? Is my moving of the folders wrong? What am i missing?
just messin around trying to see what tools work, i got another error.
Ok, now I've got a bigger problem. I finally figured out what I was doing wrong. It's actually a lot simpler than I thought. i was just making it more complicated. Ok, I tarted the flash and at about 47%, it gave me a memory reference error. Now my Wizard won't go past the three-color screen and all it shows is my IPL/SPL 3.08. ActiveSync won't detect it, tried hard resetting, turning on while holding camera button, etc. What do i do now?
Now you start thinking... "Maybe I should have read the stickies on the Upgrading forums... bummer..."
The 3 color screen is called the BootLoader. As long you get that screen, your phone can be recovered. How to recover it?
- Use a Windows XP PC.
- Download Wizard_Love Rom (its somewhere, use google or search the forum, but then again, you wouldn't be having this problems IF you knew how to use the search button!)
- Press and hold CAMERA button and hit the reset, keeping the camera button pressed.
- Connect the Wizard to your pc using the USB cable.
- Start the Wizard_Love RUU utility that comes with it.
- Just press next until it starts flashing the ROM to it.
- Pray for it to finish without touching anything until the RUU says CONGRATULATIONS.
There... your phone is working again.
READ THE STICKIES BEFORE DOING ANYTHING AND USE THE SEARCH!
THIS QUESTION HAS BEEN ANSWERED FOR TOO MANY TIMES ALREADY!!!
PS: Maybe we should create a thread for helping the guys that don't follow stickies or care about the ALREADY info we have here... something like:
- 3 color screen: do this
- different IPL/SPL G3 on a G4 device: you are screwed.
I definately read the stickies over and over again. I've got a stack of printouts sitting in front of me that I've been reading for the past week.
I understand your frustration about questions like this but that's no reason to be rude. I used to be a moderator on pbnation.com so I know exactly how you feel. But the fact of the matter is that I'm not as familiar with these things as you are. I fixed the bootloader issue before I even read your response. i found the answer by re-reading one of my printouts that said the re-flash with official rom. So i did that and it worked. I knew I'd get flamed for posting but since I had already had a thread created, I figured it wouldn't hurt to post updates on my status.
I know how to flash roms now. It's actually quite easy. However, I ran into some issues that I'd like to explain in hopes that you realize I'm not taking advantage of you or not utilizing the tools and stickies.
i was having problems yesterday because of my work computer (I think). When extracting the files from Hypercore, they were not placed where they should have been and the tools wouldn't work properly. An example would be when opening buildOS it would give me the yes or no prompts. An IT friend allowed me to use his non-work laptop to do the exact same thing and I was able to use it without a hitch. The simple tmobile official rom update wouldn't even work on my work computer. So it's not just me.
I knew there was a reason that i couldn't follow it.
Regardless of your approach, I still thank you for your help.
I didn't mean to be rude... sorry about that. Its just that from your post count I thought your were like a newcomer like those that come here all the time, asking the same questions over and over again. Netherless, sorry for "helping" you the way I did.
I will have some tea now to relax care to join?

n00b questions

Hi,
I just got a Titan with Sprint and have tons of stupid questions. Is there a category in here where people won't mind me asking my questions? I'm new to mobile in particular, mobile windows, mobile devices but not new to windows and linux in general on desktop. So I have questions about imaging my device, cooking my own roms (for instance I've gotten my grubby little hands on the 3.16 GPS/EVDO revA test rom), recovering from disaster, etc before I start messing with and bricking my device. I want to make sure I can recovery after installing Google's android for example as I'm sure I'll probably kill it many times trying.
Thanks,
Chris
when i got here pre getting a wallaby i never even used a pocketpc before
was here for a long while before getting one
general pc knowlage and mainly pc knowlage
made it possible for me to help others who had pda's
before i got one myself
well that and reading other peoples posts
in general people dont mind any questions - no matter how "stupid" as long as you have taken the time and effort to search first.
There are many guides already posted on how to cook roms. This is not a simple task so take things one step at a time.
nose>grindstone
OK, thanks for clarifying. I guess I have two main generic questions to start.
Before I get started, what is the best way to create a complete backup image of my current setup? I've tried to find this out but I keep only seeing things about sprite backup and/or active sync but I suspect I need something else. I recall something about scraping a rom off your device but they didn't go into details. Plus I'm not very clear about the boot loader. Do I need to modify the boot loader and if I do will that screw up my chances of trying other things like Google's Android linux or other cooked windows mobile roms?
Lets assume I can figure out how to use a rom kitchen or whatever other tools I'll need to customize a rom to my liking, I get the feeling I shouldn't just dive in and start modifying things "willynilly" as things will go badly. What do I need to be careful about modifying and what can go wrong? I've only briefly glanced over some rom cooking threads as I wasn't sure where to start and if the instructions are extremely device-model-"centric" or not.
I'm happy to read or follow howtos if I just get links. I don't expect anybody to walk me through stuff.
Thanks,
Chris
generaly the "stuff" is devided into 2 cats
the stuff you put om it
and the rom itself
if you have the rom file you got on the pda or download the rom version you got the 2th
the rom on your device is not enuiqe and is just the same as any other rom of the same version from the same provider in case you got a custom rom from a phoneoperator like orange or o2 or.....
first one is pretty much what activesync sync and a new phone or a phone with a new rom can get access to the same stuff when synced to the pc apart from the programs later installed though same goes for a pda upgraded to a later rom and later downgraded to an earlier rom
speritebackup and such backup programs does what activesync does plus auto reinstall programs manualy installed lated on

I really don't have a clue do I...

I have the Diamond and really like it but it is so slow as we know. I've trawled round the site but am a total noob to this. I read about hardspl (i think) and flashing roms and advanced config....I just want to speed up the device and dont know where to start. I've turned off all the whistles and bells and the handset is on Orange with a 1.37 ROM. Tried installing the advanced config. but it told me I need a newer framework thingy and now the icon is stuck on the device and I just want to throw it at the wall. I know you guys are busy as hell and that a total noob just kinda gets in the way but could someone just tell me what I need, where I get it and where I put it on the damn phone If someone can I'll get the Mrs to make you tea
Sorry guys but I have tried but am not that techy minded
Hey dude, don't worry.
Check this site out - http://modmydiamond.info/
Read through the radio and rom installation guides carefully. It's very easy to follow and you will have upgraded in no time at all. As for which ROM, I use Swift bl v.6. It's very stable and quick and includes adv config in it anyway. But there are many so check out the rom section of this forum and see what people say, same goes for the radios. Installing a new rom will wipe the data on your Diamond, so it should get rid of that icon problem anyway mate.
I don't know why noobs get such a hard time, this site can be bewildering due to the vast info presented and some of us don't have the time to trawl through it all - espically as lots of it seems so advanced.
Anyway, good luck.
I'll try to make it simple as I can, because just over a month ago I was a noob in the same boat as you... So I know the learning curve is pretty steep, but once you start plodding up it, it does level out.
BUT before you go any further, read and understand all of this very useful check list here...
Also, it'll help to keep this list handy throughout the procedures.
So, keeping it simple, go for HardSPL 1.24 from here. Flash 1.24 by following the instructions in post #1 of that thread... follow these instructions to the letter mind, that is the key!
Once you have your HardSPL successfully flashed, go get ROM 1.93.405.1_WWE from here.
This file is self extracting, and automates the flashing process, so all you have to do is follow the instructions given as it leads you through, and if in doubt, just re-read the two sets of the instructions I've pointed out to you (everything you need is in there).
Do all that precisely as instructed, and you'll be all tooled up with the latest and quickest standard HTC ROM for a UK device... Like you, I was on a UK Orange .37 ROM, and I found a welcome increase in performance when I went to .93
Ps, don't be put off by the RUU utility when you get to the page where it looks as if it's trying to update your current main rom with your radio rom... just keep on going, it isn't touching the main rom provided it is flashing only a radio... you'll see what I mean when you get to that stage.
Pps, I'm going to say it again... make sure you backup any very important data you may have on your phone... and ultimately there are no absolute guarantees when flashing devices, and you will see it many times written on this site that you can only get flashy with your device if you're prepared to proceed on this basis.
Otherwise Enjoy
Edit; oops, didn't see you there simcarloc... that's what my post was meant to look like before I got too carried away.
Take a look ath the Diamond Rom forum there are very good guide and step by step guides
Thanks guys, I'm going to have a look at what you directed me to this morning. I run a forum for a car club and I know when people first join up it can be hugely daunting and a tad scary, even with the best intentions noobs can get freaked out somewhat....cue me
Thanks for putting this in "laymans" terms for me as I think that is what noobs need first off and we'll pick the rest of it up as we go along, its not laziness on our part, personally I just had head data overload and was losing the will to live I'll go look at the stuff you've posted and let you know how I get on.
Once again thanks for taking the time out to explain in a language I may just be able to get my head round Thanks guys.
One quick Q....runn diamond-sspl.bat? How and where is this?
Its not playing
Probably my fault but all I get is..
There is no application associated with "diamond-sspl" or whatever folder I try, it keeps telling me to run the app first, but I have no idea what I'm doing now. Also tells me the framework isn't present. No idea.
Guess I'll be sticking with a slow device Thanks anyway guys
Hey there LoudyMcLoud,
Like you I am somewhat of a noob too…
But since you have a problem I encountered before (framework issue) I might be able to help you out in this first stage.
My device kept giving the message that my Framework was not up to date when I wanted to install a program. I went to search for the latest framework version at MS, and found the latest (beta) release. I installed that, and then I got the message that my framework was a newer version then needed…. Ahhh help me god.
So I took the easy way out, a hard reset did the trick for me (press and hold volume down + centre button + the soft reset button located in the stylus opening)
Remember, this procedure too, will wipe all date from your device, it will restore itself to the way it was when you first bought it.
Maybe after this you can use the steps mentioned earlier in this thread.
Good luck with your Diamond.
Just install the latest .net framework from microsoft that is NOT the Beta version - can't remember the version number, but this worked for me.
Good job,... hope you will get the rest sorted

Click to collapse
It's in the zip file you should have already downloaded here.
Extract all files in this zip file to their own folder, make an activesync connection with your diamond, then away you go. (For starters I recommend you choose HardSPL 1.24 when prompted.)
Latest .net is 3.5 available here.
