This is a great Cab!! Unfortunately, this one also prevents Spb Backup from running, like your recent "large title bar" cab. Bummer! Hope there is some way to fix this.

UNINSTALL FAILS...
Head's up to all, when I tried to uninstall RandomAccess, it errors out stating it couldn't remove all aspects of the application and gives the user to option to just remove from the Add/Remove list. DO NOT JUST REMOVE, the program and registry changes are still there.
If you want to uninstall randomaccess, use a file explorer (such as Resco) to remove \windows\randomaccess.exe
Then use a registry editor (such as Resco), do a search for "Dr Putt" and remove all keys that reference this string. There are multiple hits that this search will find, so make sure to get them all.
Then run a second registry search for "randomaccess" (should only be 1 hit on that search). For this string you will find that the installation process actually changed the RAI for Contacts. So you will need to change the following back to default:
Change \HKLM\software\microsoft\shell\rai\:MSCONTACTS\0 to "Contacts" (no quotes)
Change \HKLM\software\microsoft\shell\rai\:MSCONTACTS\1 to ":MSPOUTLOOK Contacts"
Lastly, remove the key at \HKCU\software\microsoft\today\keys\113\open.
NOTE: If you had your right soft key set to any other program, you will have to modify the last step. Likewise, if you use a different application to view Contacts, this would also alter the above instructions.
DISCLAIMER: Working with the registry should be left to experienced users, you can serious mess up your device if you don't know what you are doing. This is informational only, I don't warrant anything if it goes bad for you.

I tried this on my Prophet and it didn't worked. But the uninstalling was no problem and my contacts are working again

I was going to install this one, but I just found out. They are too many RA in the forum and I already had the same one as OP posted.
If you have installed the "HTC Random Access updated.zip" or "300_HTC_Random_Acces.zip". Those are same 66k in cab file.
Mine look just same as OP's, so I dont know if there is much in difference.
I hope this help with someone who has installed other version of RA.

With Decuma Japanese, when you draw an kanji, you don't have to put the EXACT number of stroke or respect the EXACT order of the kanji drawing, it analyse your final drawing and propose to you the best match...
Infortunatly, Decuma Japanese don't work on WM6.1 (or I never succeded to make it work)
But maybe it exist a alternative solution, if you know, please help me

I don't know Decuma Japanese but I use the usual Japanese IME from Microsoft. It features various possibilities for input, you can draw Kanji as well. Instructions can be found here in the forum. Unfortuantely it messes up my T9 input, so I had to buy TouchPal. Another possibility would be Japanese Input.

But it don't reconize very difficult kanji and, as I say before, I have to draw the kanji with exact number and exact order of strokes...

Yes, I use it on diamond and it works flawlessly. I don't know if it meets your requirements, though. When I write　休, incorrectly starting with　木 and then adding　イ the IME doesn't give me the Kanji I wanted to write. But it's the same with the IME on your Windows desktop, when you write using IME Pad.

Yes, it's a bit complicated. These are the steps to take:
Download and install "LetsJapanNo6", do a soft reset
Download and Install "IME_31J_F", no soft reset
Download and install Enable_IME_2, no soft reset
Download and install Enable_IME_3, do a soft reset
Nearly all of your buttons will not work, so use a registry editor and change the following value:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\System\CurrentControlSet\Control\Layouts\e0010411\Keyboard Layout to "00000409"
Done!

The 4 SIP are correct. I don't really see the difference between Tegaki and Kensaku (at least when you only want to input a single Kanji), but they all work well. As for the "¥", just change your system language back to English or whatever it was before you installed LetsJapan and you have back the good old "\".
The T9-problem might not be connected to the Japanese IME, as others have the same problem.

My windows live messenger also stopped working after installing this... anyone else has the same problem or has anyone found a solution for it?

Obsidian72, for the "\" thing, it doesn't work for me... I'm french but I use a WWE rom, so after the last soft reset, I tried to back to french local setting but the "¥" is still present everywhere.
(I will try to set english local setting, but even if it work, I prefer the "¥", is less anoying )
PS : just for test, if you still have the IME_3, try to upload it on XDA please

Hello Yodajr, to get back the "\" instead of "¥" after installing LetsJapanNo6 you have to edit the following registry entry:
HKLM\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\FontLink\SkipTable
The you should set the following keys:
Key: Courier New, Value: 00a5,007e,0391-03c9,2026,2116,221a,25a0-25ff
Key: Tahoma, Value: 00a5,007e,0391-03c9,2026,2116,221a,25a0-25ff
After a soft reset you should have your "\" back. The entry for changing the "\" for "¥" is 00a5. So maybe you want to add only this value to the key.

Can anyone tell me how I can get my Diamond to display Japanese text? At the moment all I'm getting is squares or a load of random "$!^%" insead of japanese charaters in emails, oprea (when trying to surf Japanese websites)
I've tried changing the registry MUI hex value to 411, but that doesnt work - as the touch flo screen just gives me squares where the text should be.
Or is it possible anyone can point me in the right direction to get an original JP ROM?

Maybe you just need to install a Japanese font. If that doesn't help, you have to install the files from post #6. Even if you change your system language back to English or whatever it was before, you'll still be able to read Japanese mails or browse Japanese webpages.

If you install just the LetsJapanNo6, I think you will have the support to read japanese text on the diamond :

Just noticed, The volume buttons on the side have stopped working along with the up, down, left and right on the kepypad... Anyone else had this problem? If so, is there a work around?
Also, it seems to have messed up the qwerty keyboard a little as you can't toggle between ABC and 123. I don't really mind this too much as the block recogniser works fine.

Hi All! Im using Touch-IT v4.0 "Landscape" RC1.1 right now. Any working solution to edit the weather database.
I would like to add my city, i was trying weather database editor 1.1 , 1.2 , and WeatherDatabaseEditor_1_1_Meins , with no success.
After i used any of those database editor , when i gioing to the weather tab , the touch flow interface just restarting ...restarting...and restartnig. Finally i have to do a hard reset...

There is the problem for me, the cities can be chosen but they do not update. I have a "Connection Error" everytime I try, but the preinstalled cities work fine. With YYYYY's ROM it worked flawlessly, but there seems to be a problem here and I need to know if I am the only one with this problem.

are you saying if you edit it and use it in YYYYYs rom then it works, or that it works without editing?
have you tried signing the file? I don't think it would be this, but you never know.

No, of course, I edit the file before. I have to because my hometown is not in there.
So I use the SQ-Editor to edit the database and copy it back into the windows-folder. With YYYYY's ROM I then can chose my town and get the weather forecast. In Itje's ROM I then can chose my town but I get no weather data.
What about signing the file? No idea how to do this but I didn't do for YYYYY's ROM as well.

Hmm...but could this really be an issue for a database-file? I always thought, cfc compression only affects images.
EDIT: Nope, his' is CFC compressed too.

Sorry, but i tryed this first in YYYYY's, because i used this Rom weeks ago. There ist no Chance, the same Error like in itjes Rom.
Can´t edit the City. After i edit the Reg Key, Accu Weather set Taiwan etc. as standard.

That's really strange. It worked perfect for me in YYYYY's ROM.
So if it's not the ROM, what else could it be. What applications did you install when using the ROM?
Maybe there is a problem with one of these.

I guess you can only set a "handfull" city´s in the Waetherpanel. All citys i try to added (the registry version) will set back to standard citys (taiwan, barcelona etc.)
Im not sure why, but i think accuwaether cannot added international cities.

Yes, it can.
As I said: I added "Judenburg" with the SQ Editor in YYYYY's ROM and the weather tab showed me the forecast.
Now the same city does not work.
There must be a reason for this.

[SOLVED] World Clock Cities Timezone Fix

Hello,
Not sure if this has been addressed anywhere else but I couldn't find it so thought I would pop something here myself and hope I don't get told off ;-)
I'm using Dutty's windows 6.5 R8 ROM and found that when I added certain cities into the world clock, the time was wrong in them. For me it was when I added San Antonio TX in there. I have relatives living there and like to know the time when I call then, anyway, I digress.
The world clock showed the time as being 11 hours behind GMT, which is incorrect as it is only 6. SO I followed the following link....

While poking around in my 2330fc3c_manila file I noticed that a few of the Texas cities had different msid values.
San Antonio was set to 0. I changed this to 20 to match some of the other Texas cities that showed the correct time on my HD.
After replacing the manilla file using Resco File Explorer, the time for San Antonio was correct!!!!
Sooooooooooo anyone who has the wrong time for different cities in the world clock can simply follow these steps to change the msid for the city they wish to add to the world clock.
Sorry if my explanation is naff, but I will try to answer any questions if anything is unclear.
I'll pop a screenshot to show what I changed.

Various posts throughout the different ROMs on this problem but your use of SQLite Administrator and screenshots is probably the simplest and best way to let everyone know how to fix the problem.
By the way, you can also add other cities not listed in the database using the same tool.

I've been looking for a fix for this for a while, but mostly the posts seem to address the daylight saving problem and not the timezone problem.
I stumbled on it by finding the link to add the cities to the manila file, and had a play about
I don't know if there is some reference site somewhere which gives the different msid's for the different cities, but I would suggest that if anyone wants to fix a city for their own use, they simply copy the msid of a city in the same state or country that does have the correct time in the world clock.

I was thinking if I get time later or tomorrow, I will go through the whole Manila file and put them right then make it available for people to download, but I can't gurantee when I will get time to do it.Hence the post if people want to fix their own for the cities they wish to add to the world clock.

I've been going through fixing some of them, but there are loads set to 0
I find the filter is helping, if you select the "Country" field on the left in the list...

Okay, I have updated the all the World Time Zones. I had to take some liberties with some cities/countries, but they all should be correct now. If not let me know and I'll fix them.
The CAB file is for those that want to patch and/or don't have a file utility to copy & paste into the WINDOWS folder.
The ZIP is for those with a utility to over lay copy & paste files in Windows.

I don't know if you can down load my CAB and merge with yours. I assume you are, or are better at, updating UK/Europe TZs. I'm also assuming the UK, in your name, stands for the United Kingdom and that is where you reside.

You mean file copy and paste? Yes. But, you have to use Roesco File Explorer. As the files are protected by windows. Roesco has more functionality than the base MS WM file explorer and allows the simple copy and paste.
My CAB (USA only) was for those that don't have or don't want to pay for Roesco.

Works fine for me. Check http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=4272014&postcount=10 again. I have updated all World Time Zones and they should be good to go.
There were a couple USA ones that didn't update when I first did it, but when I did the World update I caught them and they are fixed now too.

Use the tool pointed to in the first post and add it thru there. It's fairly easy. You need more help let me know I may be able to do it for you.
I checked and Copenhagen is in the list. Its under Denmark.

Hi Henrik,
This fix is for the incorrect times showing in the world clock when you add cities to display. So for me, I have my home town and also San Antonio in Texas, USA. Originally the USA time was incorrect, as were many other cities.
This is not for adding Timezones in Windows

Hi PooleyUK , thank's for your work, there is a little mistake in your Data Base:
The Spanish Canary Island cities must have :
timezone=0
msid=85
There are 3 cities in that situation:
- 1521 La Laguna.
- 1549 Las Palmas de Gran Canaria.
- 2484 Santa Cruz de Tenerife.

you will be able to access the marketplace but not download and install if you have not entered a valid 25 character MS activation code. this is different from your live id. have you entered that code?

i believe the activation codes are linked to the first live id they are used with. if you got the code from someone else and it has been used before it most likely is not working for you and that is why you cannot install marketplace apps.

OK go into your settings, tab to the bottom. In the about screen, click it open and what is the name/model of phone ifno.

Same problem...this was related to having cookies disabled in the phone Internet Explorer setting.
After enabling cookies it worked without issue.

HELP!
I have the same issue and its driving me crazy!
The only thing I have not tried is changing my info to reflect myself as U.S. user.
I tried calling MS and got told to call HTC for the activation code, they would not give anything away unless you had an official WP7 handset so I gave them my mates HD7 IMEI and they eventually provided me the activation code.
My phone now access the various Windows Live! services but it cant download any apps, stating the same thing.
I called HTC again and they cant figure it out, I presume the activation code is linked to the IMEI and thats why it wont work? Im also thinking that my handset is model is LEO70 but Windows Live is looking for a HD7.
Can anyone advise how I can change the model?
