Hi all,
i'm developing an application that makes a data call over GSM network.
The data connection work fine beteween pda ipaq + gsm mobile via infrared and a qtek 1010.
My problem is that when a DATA call arrive to my qtek, a big "modal dialog" appear on the screen as happen when a normal voice call arrive...
This dialog is from the original phone program in pocket pc phone edition and cover all the screen so i cant answer the data call from my application...do u know how can i disable the phone program or replace it with my own application?
Thanks u
Fabio
P.s. i'm sorry my english is sooo bad!
Upgraded to Dutty's WM6.1 ROM, (great ROM btw)
but if the phone is working under 3G mode, when you take two calls and trying to do "Conference", both calls will be disconnected. If the phone is forced in EDGE mode, hitting "Conference" will bring 2 calls together.
Can at&t Tilt try this and verify? Or can somebody post a solution to this?
Mine works fine in 3G mode. Just used it yesterday in Las Vegas & Los Angeles.
are you kidding me....
which ROM & radio are u using sir?
Dutty 6.1 CE OS 5.2.19199 Build 19199
1.64.06.04
Upgrade WM6.0 to WM 6.1 only
Although I have had great sucess with the many Chef's ROM's on my Hermes and Kaiser I've chose to stick with the AT&T OEM rom for now.
Can I upgrade WM6.0 to WM6.1 only or is flashing with a rom the only way?
Ciao
I realize this was a while ago, but yes you could have downloaded the 6.1 upgrade and installed it on your phone, replacing the 6.0.
For those trying to 3-way call, call the first person, after they respond dial the second person, they will respond and the first one will be on hold. Hit the right softkey and scroll to conference. Hit conference and you are on your way! Hope this helps.
I am running AT&T WM6.1, but not much longer thanks to xda!
18 July WM v6.1 Messaging SMS \ MMS contingency, phone service is five bar signal , select Send and messaging process displays “Your text message cannot be sent”.
Call HTC technical support and select troubleshooting. Explain that yesterday Edyta suggested visit HTC e-member site for Radio ROM update, there is no Radio ROM update for TyTN II.
Raes answers, I explained contingency, Raes suggested that I call telephone provider I said that that the phone is HTC supplied SIM unlocked and that I have tried three SIM cards and the SMS contingency is the same.
Call ref. 08rbc290000760 Raes says select Settings, Phone, Services, Voice Mail and Text Messages, Get Settings, and that Phone: text messages service centre: number +44 7802 2092035 is incorrect (note that Voice Mail: number is blank) and that I need to call the SIM card service provider for a new number for the TyTN II phone service.
18 July 2008 Installed received today new SIM card supplied by O2 SIM serial no. 0064 4188 36619 marked www.02.co.uk/blueroom 3G
Installed new SIM card, restart TyTN II, Check Phone: text messages service centre: number and it is the same +44 7802 2092035.
Select Messaging: select SMS; select a failed SMS text message, select Send, dialogue box displays message sent.
Call HTC technical support, advise Mathew that contingency resolution here is that SIM cards supplied pre 3G not liked by TyTN II.
I received this message once when sending an SMS from an area where texting worked but voice/data did not. In my case, all I had to do was tap "Tap here to retry", and it worked.
Just to eliminate any 3G issues, you may want to force the phone onto Edge and try again.
I get this sometimes, usually right when I'm getting a message from someone else. I guess it's kind of a collision thing.
Anyway, just tapping "click here to retry" works but sometimes it does take three or four times to go through.
Sorry this isn't more help.

do you have your messages on threaded mode or normal mode
if its on normal (hacked by registry or other tools) this could be the problem because i experienced the same issue when i shifted (temp) to wm6.1
best wishes,

Definitely a well written post (I'll be taking que's from that from now)! Seems my problem is low signal strength, incoming sms's jammed (seriously, how stupid is that??), *and* wm6.1 I'm about to switch over to a 6.5 device, so we'll see if 6.5 is any better than 6.1.
*edit*
I have noticed that the whole messaging system locks up sometimes if I can't send out an sms, and a reboot will fix it with a rush of incoming messages that should have happened when i was trying to send out one. Is this common?
Got a Used tilt a few days back, came w/ Windows 6.0 ,
called @tt & got unlock code & Currently using it on T mobile.
Did Clear Storage &
Updated it w/ HTC's "ATT TILT Rom Update" (rel. on 8/6/08)
& then UPdated it again w/ "Windows Mob. 6.1 Update for the ATT TILT
Current
Rom Version = 3.57.502.2 WWE
Radio Version = 1.65.21.18
ISSUE -
NEARLY ALL CALLS are forwarded to Voicemail when I try to Answer them. --> {While I hit Answer key , when ringing, Phone goes to Today Screen & Tells me its a Missed Call (it automatically rejects it) }
I also have BAD connection issues ASWELL ,[ I HEAR] heavy Disturbance / Static on some of my Calls , while the other person hears me Perfectly!
<btw All these problems happen while I have Full Bars>
Can this be resolved w/ Radio update / another Custom Rom update?
Please let me Know how to resolve Issue &/or Direct to appropriate thread...
Thnx
Any Suggestions?!

Hello Guys,
i have some problems with my Kaiser (T-Mobile Vario III).
After I send a SMS 1 minute later a message popups "SMS could not send...".
I look in the Phonesettings but my SMS Center Number is correct...
Greets: Patrick
Original FIRMWARE 6.1 from T-Mobile Site
ROM 3.31.111.4 GER
RADIO: 1.70.18.02
Try your sim card in other phone and see if the sending works there.
in a iPhone it works without any problems
if its not a problem, u could try hardreset, that should help.
