HEy Guys after Flashing the 6.1 Rom from the HTC Website i cant type Umlaute (äöü) anymore on my keyboard
on 6.0 i had to press o then fn+space
but now it doesnt works anymore
how can i activade that again or is there a fix aviable

After a fresh Hard Reset its working, but when put my Sprite Backup on it ****s it up (registry)

i would love to help you,because my tytnII with wwe rom flashed and ce-star installed now supports Song Chs perfectly.
but can you tell me more detial about your device's.
i think you have modified some key in registry like [HKEY_CURRENT_USER\keyboard layout\Preload] that would make your kb stop working.
of cause if you have time i could help you make yours the same as my kaiser supporting Song CHS very well.

i dont have ce-star in my ATT tilt, i just install Chinese Song downloaded from a chinese pda forum. hmm, after I installed, and the fone restarted, then the KB does not work anymore.
hmm, I dont know how to change registry. I think i am goin to get a micro SD and flash HTC kaiser ROM coz ATT tilt ROM sucks.

after upgrading the rom using pdaviet version i found that the keypad , keyboard and qwerty are removed in that ROM , although that rom is very fast but i cant live without those missing parts
whats the solution please to recover them back ? at least i want all the input methods back like the original ROM ?

ok , i found the original files from another site and installed them , restarted the computer but with no use as i didnt install anything :O , is their sth to change in the registry ?
hello, i'm having some problems with my kaiser.
after upgrading my hardspl, and installing hyperdragon rom, my touch screen never work again, i have already install windows mobile 6.1 ptg rom, but the touch screen don't work, so i can´t pass the screen alignment.
i tried the welcome.not file, the remote screen aligment program, but nothings work. then i tried to reverse my spl, and rom to wm6. but i can't do it, and i can't find the rom file. i have read all the tutorials here in the forum, and i can't do it.
so i'm asking for help!!! i'm afraid to send the kaiser to the brand, and they send it back because i don't have the original software.

im using the same rom and what i did was edit the touchpanel registry and it works for me. hope that helps.

I have a Tmobile MDA Vario 3 and the following problem:
I used my phone normally every day, and one day no ringtones are working... I can hear them choose one of the sounds, but no sound if somebody rings me...
what can it be? I dont wanna make a hardreset, because many programs on it and i dont wanna lose them...
I did a hardreset and used before sprite backup, i tested the ringtone and IT WORKS, now i put back my backup and no ringtones working now again, how can i find the mistake in the system? Can i look into the registry like normal windows too?
in another forum i saw someone means it can be the divx player, i deinstalled it, but nothings better...
I NEED HELP... what can i do?

I am on an original tmobile rom, and i i have to reset i wanna change to another rom like windows mobile 6.5, i have to change rom to a htc rom 6.1 and then i have to go to 6.5 right? i wanna put away tmobile settings on hardreset!
Well if you hard reset it will put the oem rom on it. Then you follow the instructions to be able to flash roms on it. Until you flash a rom on it, every time you hard reset it the factory rom will install.

No need for interim flashes after hard-spl you can flash a 6.5 make sure you read about Radio update
Maybe you have installed some softwares. let check recent installed softs and uninstall them, then restart. No need to use other rom if you like it
If it still does not work, do hard-reset.

How can I revert it back to WM 6????

First of all this is Android development so this is very offtopic. Second you hopefully can find and download the correct WM version from HTC by entering your S/N. Then I think all you need to do is to hold camera button + reset the device to enter SPL, connect to computer with USB cable and then run the installation (that you downloaded from HTC).

Anyways...is the hard reset(holding camera button...the soft buttons and stylus) the same as Factory restore??...then i wouldnt be needing the file that you mentioned for download??

Reset to factory defaults will not replace the 6.5 rom you have installed, you don't need to HardSPL again, that only needs to be done once.
Your best option would be to get a stock rom from the XDA Wiki pages, My advice would be either get a shipped rom that matches your carrier, or the latest generic HTC shipped rom, both can be found here: http://wiki.xda-developers.com/index.php?pagename=Kaiser_ROMs
Note that once you flash a rom a Hard reset does not remove it, only flashing another rom will do that. Also flashing a stock rom is actually one of the best ways of clearing out previous flashes.

How do I install the USB driver for HTC TyTN II, to whom I am the Android 1.5. Before that I was a Windows Mobile 6.5 and am using Microsoft ActiveSync. I would like again to get back to WM 6.5, but can not seem to connect mobile phone and computer.
You can't flash back to Windows Mobile through usb while in Android because of the driver issues. You have to either enter bootloader mode and flash, or you have to do it through your storage card. And before you post back asking me how to do that, use the search. There are instructions all over the place.

There is no *best* ROM. Please read threads and flash based on your needs. I think it's about time this thread be done for.

Looks like you need to downgrade your Hard SPL for WM6 so that it doesn't pause a lot.
