Does anyone know/have some experience with spare parts for the Wizard?
Is it possible to have your front cover (Qtek 9100) replaced by a new one (e.g. due to damages)?

since you seem to be dutch... check the Qtek.nl forums; they did mention they could replace the front covers where the appliquee's have worn off the buttons, as (so a rep. stated) that was likely a manufacturing error. Not sure what your damages are; I guess if you cracked it, you could still send it in for repairs. You'd be without the device for a while though?
Might you find anything, please post it here. I'm looking for a new battery cover, but am unable to find one...
(cracked the 2 plastic knobs that keep it in place..)
Same thing happened to my Dopod 838. Slipped from my pocket and the front cover is damaged, nothing major though, just some scratches but still, very annoying...
Sistech Indonesia did have the front cover, but it was the old version. Btw, the "Dopod" logo on old front cover version is fadeable. After two weeks on my pocket, it started to fade, rub it a little bit it's gone :shock: So I think I'll wait for the new version (with new Dopod logo printed on the bottom of the screen) front cover.

It is possible, you would have to send it to "Dynafix" in nuth, NL.
They do repairs (under and out of warranty) for Qtek, but you probably will have to pay (+/-100 Euro, fall-damage is no warranty). Thats my experience. But if you have defects within warranty they will repair those for free.

For loose parts (battery cover, battery, stylus ect) you could call dynafix, for phone-number+adres see: www.dynafix.com

Tried that a month ago, they replied that they do only repairs and will not sell any spare parts..
If anyone is interested in spare parts, i have some left from my last repair for the MDA Vario:
brand new parts:
-QWERTZ-Keypad
-front cover
-main housing
used, good conditon:
-battery cover
used, minor scratches:
-back cover

how much do you want for those?
-just front cover: 25 Euros
-front, main and back with used camera cover: 30 Euros (new: 35 Euros)
-all together with used camera cover and used battery cover 35 Euros (new: 40 Euros)
All parts are genuine T-Mobile MDA.

Spare Parts
You may want to take a look on Ebay as I have noticed several non working display phones for sale there. I am sure that the cases would be correct as I have seen these displays at the phone dealers and they are anatomically correct.
I have some new front covers and housing parts right now, mainly for O2 XDA Mini S. But also one for T-Mobile MDA Vario and for VPA Compact S.

Hello, I have a Qtek 9100 and unfortunately I dropped it and scratched the front of the casing up pretty bad. The phone is still in perfect condition and not even a scratch on the back or the screen. I am looking for the front housing. I do not have any scratches on the rear housing, keyboard, or even the battery cover. I have looked on Ebay and the only thing that I have found is for around $100 (US). I do not want to pay that much for something that I can conceivably drop again. So my question is; is there anyone out there that knows where I can get a front housing? I would even buy the total housing to use as a backup but I do not want to spend an arm and a leg for it. I would greatly appreciate any feedback anyone has.
DITTO! I just need the bezel around the screen for the Cingular 8125.....anyone with a heap of bricks willing to part with one???

As I understand it, the x7501 is nothing more than the x7500 with the front camera removed before shipping to to US providers. My question is has the front camera actually only been removed and the faceplate replaced to hide where the front camera would be, or is the motherboard for the x7501 completely and physically different because there is no front camera? If anyone has a definite answer about this or knows who I can ask to find this out, I would be very grateful.
