Recently bought a qtek 2020i. All (rf, blue, wifi, gprs, voice, ...) works fine. However, no MMS Composer soft is to be found on the device. When capturing photo, the MMS Send option directs me to an email interface.
Operator Proximus in Belgium cannot help me. Maybe, you guys/girls can.
Thanks in advance, and Regards,
I have friend who has the qtek 2020i and I have an XDAIIi. I have looked at my friends and his set-up is the same as mine. The Microsoft Standard Messaging interface is common for, text/email/mms. If you send a captured photo, messaging should open up in MMS mode. To manually create a message in directly from messaging. You'll see Accounts on the bottom page, tap and you can select from tex/email/mms, select mms and create your message. These do not come with any other MMS software as standard.
Also please find attached a cab file, for automatic installilation of Proximus GPRS/WAP/MMS which you copy to your qtek and tap to install. I know you said it is already installed, its just in case you may need it.
Got it. Thanks.
MMS ok now.
Hi all
Just wondering of someone running the standard o2UK Ignito ROM could post what values are against these registry entries
HKLM\Software\Arcsoft\ArcSoft MMS UA\Config\mm1\WspHeader\x-wap-Profile
and
HKLM\Software\Arcsoft\ArcSoft MMS UA\Config\mm1\WspHeader\User-Agent
Thanks.
I'd like to get the settings too please.
Is nobody using the shipped o2uk ROM any more?
/\ bump /\
Hope this helps
HKLM\Software\Arcsoft\ArcSoft MMS UA\Config\mm1\WspHeader\x-wap-Profile
(http://www.htcmms.com.tw/gen/diamond-1.0.xml)
and
HKLM\Software\Arcsoft\ArcSoft MMS UA\Config\mm1\WspHeader\User-Agent
(Xda_Ignito/arcsoft-mmsua-5.0.0.xx)
Cheers
Mark
Hi guys, I am using Dutty's 4 ROM and I noticed that whenever a new MMS comes in for my Diamond, there will only be a short beep once and thats all. Even thought I have set the ringtone for new MMS and I can hear it when I press the play button, when a real new MMS comes in, only a beep is heard.
Anybody have any solution? Thanks.
Check settings...
First, just check your settings. For MMS there are two notification tones... 'New MMS received' and 'New MMS downloaded'. Make sure you've set tones for both. If this isn't the issue, post in Dutty's ROM forum and ask the man himself - you may not be the only one with this issue
I had the same problem. Set both the received and downloaded notification to the same tone as suggested and it works ;-)
Thanks!

Greetings Forum
So, when I had stock ROM I could receive MMS no problem, but when I upgraded to CM7 it no longer wanted to receive them, when I press it, it just says "downloading" and then nothing, then the download button pops up again which I can click on and it repeats over and over.
I'm now on MIUI, and the exact same thing is happening, I've looked at my APNs and they are setup as they should (afaik)
Any help would be GREATLY appreciated, I have some MMS' I'd like to receive
Kind regards
~Neefy
EDIT: I'm on TELENOR DK (Denmark)

ive tried many of them...ive tried those from the APNlist
1. internet(works ok)
<apn name="Telenor Internet" mcc="238" mnc="02" apn="Internet" user="" server="" password="" proxy="" port="" mmsproxy="" mmsport="" mmsprotocol="null" mmsc="" type="default,supl"/>
and 2. MMS(doesnt work)
<apn name="Telenor MMS" mcc="238" mnc="02" apn="telenor" user="" server="" password="" proxy="" port="" mmsproxy="212.88.64.8" mmsport="8080" mmsprotocol="null" mmsc="http://mms.telenor.dk" type="mms"/>
n also those ive found on the net(this set did work on 2.2 stock rom):
Name Telenor MMS
APN: internet
MMSC: http://mms.telenor.dk
MMS: proxy 212.88.64.8
MMS: port 8080
MCC: 238
MNC: 02
APN type: mms
Try with handcent.
Its an easy workaround... atleast for me
Sent from my LG Optimus 2x using XDA Premium App

On my network (not Telenor), my MMS refused to work until I modified the "APN Type" settings...
For internet, the APN Type is "default"
For mms, the APN Type is "mms"
(When I tried internet APN Type "default, supl" on my network, mms would not work - so it may be worth giving this a try)
Unfortunately, this is my only idea for you.
Good luck.
