Hello.
will be possible that can the kaiser use the multitoutch technology (like iphone)?.
I think that the problem is the software (like de cube) or...is this technology property of apple?.
Regards.
Not possible....different touchscreen technology, me thinks....

correct...the iphone has a Capacitive touchscreen, Kaiser has a resistive, so no multitouch available...mods can close this thread now.
Hey guys,
On the Diamond, there seems to be a partially opaque LED left of the phone's speaker on the front of the device. Is this really an LED? Because mine doesn't light up and I've never seen it lit up before so just wondering if it could be broken. How can I test this?
Thanks.
I made that mistake, it is a light sensor !!
Ohhh how silly of them... they should just use the forward facing camera as the light sensor.. makes more sense.
Thanks

lol i think using that camera as a light sensor would have been a rather battery intensive protocol compared to using a light sensor... also this question has already been asked in this forum...
HI ALL!
anyone knows games that supporting the diamonds motion sensors?
i hope so.
some one has to start making, htc expects to sell 3 million diamonds before year end, then theres still the touch pro and xperia, and many others that are also coming out with these sensors. new wm7 phones will also need to have them
prob. a 5 million handset market before year end, and 10 million in Q1'09 20 million before '10
start making those games people!!!
Not just the g sensor, but are there any games that use the full power of the graphics chip? One I'd like to see is a rich 3D driving game where you could steer by turning the phone just like it was a steering wheel. Also Mollusc's "pocket Gravity" " would be intersting on the diamond or "pocket sand" and "line rider" as well could make good use of the g sensor.
With the light sensor SDK and the motion sensor capacities are just endless... Join touch screen, light sensor, gps, motion sensor, graphic acelarator and just use your imagination. Just look to Nintendo Wii and what it can do....I have a lot of ideas and i'm a graphic designer if any programmer here would like to start developing some app using these tools just private me...
Having a really tough time deciding which to buy...
The TP2 does look very compelling in this video...

Well... The Diamond 2 has a better camera...
It might be a little smaller... and cheaper
The TP2 has a keyboard, And it has some interesting features for business men
In my country I'd pay 150€ extra for it... Which I wouldn't do.
If you need it for business, Take the TP2, If you just want an excellent phone... Go with the Diamond 2

Agreed. Main factor for me was the size: TD2 is perfect in that respect for my kind of use, and I do not miss keyboard (if I have large amount of text to type, I have a laptop or a workstation anyway). Keyboards had much too much bulk for the advantage they offer imho...
Design-wise, the only think I would change on the TD2 would be a slightly larger screen, if that is possible keeping the overall size exactly the same, and more physical controls (side wheel for scrolling, more remappable buttons). At a led flash, mainly for having flashlight always handy ;-)
IMO People should not be having trouble with this decision.
You either want a phone with a physical keypad and don't mind it being slightly larger OR you would rather have a smaller phone instead of a physical keypad.
There are other differences but they are small.
One thing though .... the TF3D interface is obsessed with scrolling. On the T2 this can be like having to win a game of Teeter to be allowed to call someone or select an application. The physical keypad on the P2 has direction keys. Maybe someone can comment on where (what parts of TF3D) these can be used in.
If you turned off TF3D (escape from Teeter) then this won't be an issue.

I agree... not sure why people really have difficulty here....
Absolutely. Turning off TF3D is the best thing I ever did on my TD2. My word does it fly now! And no more stoopid scrolling through enormous lists!

Hi Jim,
I'm also pretty annoyed by the endless scrolling of TF3D and thinking of replacing it. With which "Home-Plugin" did you replace TF3D?
Is there a way to start the HTC Music player without TF3D?
Thanks and regards,

I use all the standard plugins plus WMP Status 1.0, TodayAgenda and Cash Organizer 2008.
I don't use any "Today replacement" plugins because I actually use the standard Today screen and think it's the best way of getting all the info I want on one screen.
The TF3D music player needs to have TF3D enabled. I use WMP, hence the WMP Status Today plugin.
TodayAgenda is the best thing since the news of Jacqui Smith's sacking.

i couldn't decide wether to wait a month for the TP2 or go buy the TD2, congratulation you just convinced me to wait
I hear so much about the tof and quad cameras of this phone. Admittedly they are all very powerful and versatile but I'm still trying to understand how to make the most of the tof camera. Can I use it for a 3d photo? Can I obtain a depth map for it? What else can I do with it other than AR measure? Thanks in advance
I don't believe so, currently.
There is a depth map app which apparently uses it, but my experience of it was pretty pants tbf
A very good app (gimmick) called night vision tof sensor on play store is a cool one to play with tof sensor capability and make your friend jaleous ?
