Hey guys...I just installed a couple of apps and now I have a screen flicker. When my Tilt is asleep, every 3-4 minutes the screen flashes for a split second and the screen goes back to black. I recently installed these apps:
SPB Mobile Shell 2.0
CommMgrPro 1.3.3
Zomobi
HTC Gif Animation (I think this is the one but I deleted it and it still flashes)
HTC Action Screen
Pocket Wifi Radar
Has anyone installed any one of these apps and had the same flashing screen issue?? I removed them one by one and I still have the flicker.
Anyone good with the registry and could help me figure this out would be great!!
Thanks for any help anyone can give.
Hi
Mine does the same and the only one of those apps I've got installed is HTC ActionScreen. Maybe try removing that and see if it solves it?
Let me know how you get on.
Greg
Have the same issue. Anyone knows why ? I thought I'm seeing things...
Thanks.
Very interesting! Mine has been doing it as well since I downloaded and installed the 6.1 Windows Mobile update, although never did before.
Thanks for any suggestions or input that anyone can provide.
Anyone find out how to fix this?
Is that a known problem for many Kaisers?
if not then upgrading the ROM would be the answer to getting rid of this problem right?
BTW I have no special programs installed, other than commander.
I don't have HTC Home Customizer installed.
This is from a fresh ROM update to 6.1.
The flickering issue has been resolved on my Tilt
Hello All, I tried to just remove the get ATT Navigation from the main menu and sure enough my flickering screen went away. The issue was obviously just a repeat of the same issue that used to occur with the "Get TelNav" option showing in the old 6.0 ROM's from ATT. Thanks!
thanks for replying, however I don't even have that application on my device.
I did install 6.1 without bloatware though.
Hello guys!
I'm having some trouble with my HTC Touch Diamond. I am running the latest ROM, and the phone has worked perfectly since I've got it!
But one day it suddenly powered itself of during a phonecall and I was not able to power it on again. I removed the battery, put it in again, didn't work. Took out the battery and waited for almost 30 minutes, tried again and now it worked!
Since then the phone locks up in no systematical pattern (when I wake up in the morning it mybe locked itself, sometimes when I listen to the radio or typing an SMS..). Do you have any idea what the problem might be? Can't type in the serial number as I just have managed to turn it on.
What should be mentioned is the behavior when trying to start it. Either the phone gives no respons, or it "buzzez" and the display shows "touch diamond", but the rom version is not appearing down to the right. When it starts, it starts just as it should and no error messages is displayed.
I have not tried doing a hard reset yet, which I must say is considered the last option.
Have anyone experienced something like this? Or does anyone have a suggestion about what might be causing this?
Thanks on beforehand
Edit: have performed a hard reset now (did not format the 4gb). But the problem is not gone.. The phone just died while surfing. Now it locks at the green windows mobile-screen just before the homescreen loads (if it even boots at all...)
Please help anyone!
I was playing around with the different applications on my kaiser and I think I activated one that didnt respond well to the OS or something and now every time i boot the phone, it crawls at painful speeds... I'm talking, clicking on the screen takes few minutes to get any reaction out of the phone. using it is out of the question.
I tried opening the task manager but that never opens up in full, just shows the program running in the taskbar.
Any ideas? I've done a search with nothing reasonable or similar to my situation.
Firstly, it would help to know which app you tried to open. The best thing is to do a soft reset. That should sort it out.
I think he meant hard reset...
Thought I could solve the issue w/o a hard reset but that worked... now back to setting everything up again
thx for the help boys
good day fellow razr i owners,
my razor i (91.2.26001.XT890.Retail.en.EU) is behaving very strangely since it got it back from support with a new mainboard. Sometimes it just freezes or crashes, and when I reset it, it's often bootlooping around the flashing M-Symbol with a little clicking sound everytime it starts over. I can get it to boot up if I keep resetting it, shutting it down, starting it again aso. I can get into fastboot and even then it's not certain that it boots up afterwards. I managed to get into recovery mode with a process log that started to overlap the lines of text. Sadly I can't manage to get that again for further troubleshooting.
The easiest thing would be to send it in, but I've already done that only to get it back with the comment "couldn't reproduce the problem, upgraded the firmware".
Since then I try to reproduce the crashes so that I can proof the defect even to a service team that starts it up, sees it works, shuts it down, flashing it and sending it back...
Crashes and/or Freezes can appear when I'm handling it or not. When I'm browsing with Chrome, using the camera, use Google Now, play Simpsons Springfield...
Sometimes background processes stop to react spamming me with messages like "the process com.google.process.gapps isn't answering" -> OK (translated from german)
Since these problems started after a motherboard change after a brick (downgrading from 4.1.2 to 4.0.4) I'm thinking it's a hardware problem.
I tried to create a logfile with adb shell dmesg > log but only got "klogctl: Operation not permitted"
It seems to start more reliable when not used for a while after a crash (cache clearing?) and it seems to crash more often when plugged in
factory reset seems to work for a while but after 2 days at most it keeps crashing/freezing again
I would love a fix for the phone, but I don't think there is much I can do when it's really a hardware problem so next best thing would be a way to get a error log, that I can send the support with my device as proof that there is a problem and all that obviously without voiding the warranty...
Thanks in advance for any help

Hi everyone,
I've tried looking for a solution to this online but to no avail - hoping someone could point me in the right direction here.
I keep getting the "Knox license validation completed successfully" popup on my screen. It makes it super annoying to text, read, etc, as it affects the bottom-most part of the screen. The toast is also literally almost every second (screenshot attached).
I can't seem to find what's prompting this. One moment I'm using my phone and it's constantly popping up - then I turn my screen off for a bit - and when I open again, it's gone. I've seen people mention Anydesk - I uninstalled it awhile ago; same with zoom. I only recently installed Teams, but the problem pre-dates that.
Any suggestions on how I can find out what's causing this and/or just solve it?
Thanks
