I heard that TCPMP has problems with Windows 6.1 devices, namely with plugins, but this was a while ago.
Is this still an issue with the 6.1 update on the Tilt?
I know that there is an alterrnate version of TCPMP and the flash plugin that works with 6.1, but does this also work on the tilt?
And what about all the other plugins?
I had to load the FlashVideoBundle from this thread - http://discussion.treocentral.com/showthread.php?p=1401933 - on my Tilt to get YouTube videos working, but everything else seemed to be working fine without that, only youtube had problems. (youtube swf args not found error.)
Does your tilt run Windows Mobile 6.0 or 6.1?
Nearly everybody who upgraded whatever 6.0 phone they had to 6.1 had problems with TCPMP and/or it's plugins.

Disregard below:
Hello fellow users and developers at Divx Mobile:
I downloaded the latest divx mobile player (.90) for windows 6 professional onto my htc 8925/kaiser (att tilt) however my videos aren't playing. The demos that come with the player play fine but my movie file (which is a true divx file as i can play it fine on my pc) does not play. The file is 241 megs in size and all i see is the start (2 sec and sometimes not even that)of the film and than the player goes back to the video screen.
My phone still has the stock oem rom/without any tweaks and the os is still oem nothing mod'ed/changed.
Can you please assist as to why this is happening?
Any help will be appreciated. (i love the divx player and i want to be able to use it on my phone)
anybody else having this issue?

Dude, seriously check the links in my signature.
8 posts, 6 threads? that qualifies you as a "Serial Threader"
I've combined the 2 threads (posted across 2 forums) where you asked for divx .90 on your Kaiser. You should have posted your question only once.
I'm glad you found a solution.
I flashed the official HTC WM6.1 on my Tilt and now CorePlayer 1.2 plays a blank screen. It used to play perfectly well with the No Thrills cooced ROM before. I understand this is a known issue with Core Player which is awaiting resolution.
At the same time the Windows Media Player does not play avi files as well. Is there a way to make it play avi? Adding a codec?
If not, what other options do I have?
CorePlayer 1.2.5 is working fine on my official HTC 6.1 ROM... I can use the "Qtv driver" with it which does make the video readings a lot better !
WM6.1
How do you have an official version of 6.1 if ATT hasn't released it yet??
.... they both said HTC Official 6.1 ROM's not AT&T Official 6.1...
Hi!!! I´ve got a HTC Diamond with WM 6.1 and I use TCPMP-0.72RC1-ARM-PPC-recomp-03 which works very good on the diamond, but I can´t see .flv videos downloaded from youtube. Any help?¿?
Thanks
Hi. I've upgraded my Tilt from WM6.0 to 6.1. I've installed TCPMP (specifically: TCPMP 0.72RC1-ARM-PPC-RECOMP-03). Back in the good old WM 6.0 days, when I clicked on a YouTube video within Internet Explorer, TCPMP would automatically start up and play the video. Not anymore.
Is there a trick to getting TCPMP to be aware that its services are needed?
Thanks for any help.
Have you installed the Flash Video pack for TCPMP?
Thanks, Mikeapollo! That was it.
