Flash

Witch version of flash to use on this?
I have tried Flash 2.1 and flash 7 with no result.
These were files that worked in the Diamond.
ANyone has a link for a working flash version on Diamond 2???

[Q] Romkitchen upgrade failed

Hi all
I have tried the romkitchen some time ago and all worked fine. Now I tried it again in order to upgrade to Gingerbread and it failed. Cooked the ROM, downloaded it and renamed it to update.zip, booted in recovery mode and installed it.
First thing I notice is that the keyboard does not work. The camera also just shows some very weird dots.
And the worst part is that when I now start up in recovery mode I cannot see anything! Well I can see a lot of coloured dots but am unable to see the menu.
How should I proceed? Can anyone tell me the menu structure of the recovery screen? That way I can hopefully install another ROM (yes I know I will have to guess the location of the update.zip file in the list, but I am getting quite desperate now)

Uh, oh...
Now I cannot even boot the phone.
Any suggestions of how to proceed would be greatly appreciated...

i think your problem is you didnt upgraded to gingerbread stock
from the romkitchen web site:
WARNING! Before flashing a gingerbread ROM please make sure you have at least the JVH bootloaders. If you flash with ODIN, flashing a stock ROM (JVO, JV9, JV5) will get you the proper bootloaders.
you need to flash it with odin and then use the kitchen to flash a rom from the recovery...

phew... Now I have a stock ROM
Tried to install the ROM from romkitchen again but I get an error:
E:failed to verify whole-file signature
E:signature verification failed
Does anyone know how to avoid this?
I think I have found it but am not allowed to post the link here since I am a new user.

[Q] Stuck in the download mode?

i used darky rom for weeks then decided to test MIUI rom
i made all steps like the installion guide but in odin "ready" didn't appear i clicked on start,set partition appeared but no thing happened
now i'm stocked in the download mode,can't get to recovery mode or to the rom
any help ???

So you wanted to flash back to Froyo and nothing happens?
Which firmware did you use for flashing, which PIT-file, was Re-partition ticked in Odin?

i used odin v 1.7 ,pit named s1_odin_20100512 and the foryo rom with installation guide of MIUI GT-I9000_FROYO_FULL_PDA.the reprtitioning was ticked.
Alhamdu li Allah finally i installed the rom
that's what i did:
i removed the battery for a while.
i uninstalled samsung kies and usb drivers.
restart the computer and re install samsung usb drivers only.
used another odin v 1.3
get to the download mode and tried again and it worked finally

PIT-files should only be used with three-part firmwares.
But good that you finally got it!

[Q] Error while flashing stock rom

Hey why i get an error when im trying to flash via smartflash (im on new bootloader) stock 2.3 rom i flash it with CP.bin and ap.bin log:
Num of parrtitions are 7
time runs out
error
i get this error allways or smth like this any solution?

Yesterday i want to flash a Stock rom but odin was stuck at system.img and now nothing worked i try to flash again and nothing worked tested a few other usb slots another odin nothing worked...
On the tab is the message " An error has occurred while updating the device software..."
Pleeaasee Hellpp
