error 294 invalid vendor id
i tried to flash the rom, this is the message i gets error 294 invalid vendor id.pls i need another rom with no vendor id,or if there is any thing i can do pls tell me
You'll have to USPL or HardSPL and remove the SPL from that ROM I gave you, in order for it to bypass the vendor ID. Make sure you have an SPL of 4.0 or higher before you try, either. Search the forum for more information about this.

Do not flash with either if your SPL/IPL is lower than 4.0.
As far as how to: A little search and I came to a post that I wrote a long time ago.

So the IPL should at least be 4.xx but as you posted yours is 1.xx?! Might this be the issue?
Unfortunately, a SPL of 1.x after a hardspl/USPL means that the phone has been permanently bricked. Did you try to hardSPL your device or use USPL? They're both only compatible with 4.x SPL's.
I saw that someone recently came up with a way to fix bricked phones. They weren't Heralds, I forgot what they were... They basically found a way to use a buffer overrun on the SPL to launch code so they could launch a patched SPL and reflash... i wonder if our SPL's have that same bug and the method could be applied to us, too.

it was actually working initially with touch IT after Hard spl but i wanted to give a try to another version of touch it thats when the device got bricked .
I feel really sorry for you, but dont give up yet. As ivanmmj said, there could be a solution. Just check the forum.

iv heard there was a way to flash the ROM through SD so i did try using
HERAIMG.nbh for the official rom from the HTC website !!
somehow the ROM does not work (invalid rom)
id try a couple of roms !!maybe ill be lucky !!

hello guys...i've been trying to upgrade to this Romeo's rom....but seems there's a problem with it...after i copy n run the jump spl, the screen become tri color...n i waited for the "usb" words to appear in the middle of the screen,but it didn't appear....and because of this i've been stuck at these steps for few days...i hav searched at the wiki's, but couldnt find about this probl..help pls guys...thanks in advvnce,,
okay..think i find the way now..searchd again at the wiki...n the suggestion was to reflash the original rom...think this is my original rom "1.81.707.0 (radio 1.27.12.11) Dopod WWE "...the question is...the rom version and the radio version is different here....the rom vers is exactly the same wit my rom...but the radio is different....should i just proceed or not?
What version of JumpSPL are you using? Mine, and a couple of other's as well, didn't show the "USB" with version 1.93. Try version 1.56 and it should work.
Please tell me that you are not trying to flash a ROM using JumpSPL...
i've been told to use this "JumpSPL1.93-KAIS" in order to use the "@ROMEOS_v3_5"...i just follow the steps given to me...
Connect Kaiser to computer using USB cable
Make sure ActiveSync icon is GREEN

i checked wiki because the instruction given to me went wrong...i downloaded this romeo v3.5 and comes together with jumpspl and hardspl as well...the instruction ask me run the jumpspl before running evrything else....so here,u guys saying that i should straight away run the hard spl is it?

yeapp...this the order i followed..after i run the jumspl,the tricolor thing appeard...and the sync stopped..and it didn't reconnect,i tried to run the hardspl n follow the steps..but it appears no connection with device...when i checked the wiki about stuck at tricolor...they ask to flash back the shipped rom again..found that rom but in different radio vers with mine....is it ok to just run the original rom again?

finallyy...i got it man...thankss alot devshaw...i found that u must take out the sdcard n simcard in order to proceed the steps...now i'm gonna test some roms here...hey devshaw which rom u think best?for me i prefer roms having nice interfaces....seems dutty n L26 are more in interfaces...their design is gorgeus....since this is the first time flashing the rom i don't know which to choose...i've been told to use romeos by hang.tuah,since he's same country from me...i just give it a shot...any recommends??

For a nice UI try the [27-08-08] L26 KaiserDiamond Throttle Launcher (Beta 6 released!). ROMeOS is fast and stable though, best way to find out is to try them.

After flashing the rom with HTC_Touch_3G_GER_v2.32.407.2_Radio_v0.41.30.12 rom - the telephone option never work.
When I tried activation in Comm Manager - no sucess.
So I tried a tleast the Jade_WM65_German_Overloaded_OS_2.21806_NEW_OEM_2.33.721.1 rom.
without sucsess.
Have I made some mistakes? All other functions seemed to be in shape?
So please maybe someone could help me to fix the problem?

Whats your SPL version?.. for 2.32.** OEM your SPL should be 2.32.Olinex
Check ur SPL.. ( Switch off jade ; press volume down key and power key to go to bootloader )..

So I think I found the error:
HARD DSL:
JADE 110 64M
SPL-1.40.0liNex
MicroP-Jade(LED) v5
No I try to change the rom ( into a 1.4 Version)
After that it hope it will be possible to update to SPL 2.32 Olinex.
So that I can flash a german rom ( German overload?)

Am trying to follow the instructions in the sticky but something happens with my setup that isnt to clearly explained in them and hence so far ive been unable to complete this.
When opening the Hard SPL update exe i get a message saying its loading an api cab onto phone and to ok this.. so i do, then click though a few more steps but hit a block as the api thing loaded on the phone is asking me if i want to run it as its for a different model of phone.
Then I hit yes to run it, move more steps in the Hard SPL flasher and get rainbow screen on phone
Then nothing.. flasher gives error that flash cant continue.
Hardware model is Jade 110, stock SPL is 1.71.0000 and its an Orange branded Jade.
Help.. please

im not sure but i think the HSPL is for jade 100(touch 3G)
and spl 1.4.000 ur spl is different and ur jade is 110
maybe thats why its not working this is my suggestion not not a techie im just going by me experience and
1. u need to have net connection while doing HSPL
2.u need to turnoff ur firewall and any virus scan on ur comp to do the same

First, you have to check the SPL version you have. Turn off your HD, and press both down vol + power button to check your SPL version.
Then after that you can decide which way you want to use.
HSPL means flash the SPL once and you can flash ROM at anytime without worry about SPL.
USPL means you have to flash your SPL each time you want to flash a ROM to your HD.
I think your thread will be closed by mod, as this issue can be solved using the thread I gave you above. If you have any issue, you can post in that thread or send me pm.

If you got a problem with a certain step, then explain it detailed.

I see. Don't worry for the 3 colours. It's because your ROM is not supported by the current SPL you have now. From what I see, you are using HSPL.
It's easy to upgrade ROM using HSPL. The safest way is through the SD card.
You can try this:
1. Make sure your SD card format is FAT32, and make sure you have minimum 30% power left in your battery.
2. Rename the *.nbh file to be BLACIMG.nbh, and copy it to your sd card root location. Remember to copy it to your sd card root.
3. Shut down your pda, and go to your bootloader and follow the instruction there. Remember to hardreset after flashing. Don't plug the usb cable in while flashing.
