I have tried the new Skype release 2.5.0.108 (9 Dec 2008) and the earlier version on my HTC Touch Diamond. They both have the same problem. That is, the audio can be transmitted from the HTC Touch Diamond, but it cannot hear anything from the other party. It defeat the purpose of a phone if the audio is only one-way. Do you know any solutions to this?
Has anyone used Skype on a HTC Touch Diamond?

Hi everyone...
I'm heaving problems with my Diamond (dutch version), when i answer or make a phone call i can not hear the other person on the other side, i have to press the speakerphone icon, but then every one can hear the conversation.
The screen protection is not blogging the speaker, i have played with the up and down button to listen if there is any change, but nothing works.
Both speaker and speakerphone are working fine when playing music or make the call on speakerphone, but i like to have my phone calls private.
I hope it's in the registry so i can change it myself otherwise i have to bring the phone back to the shop...
I hope anyone have a answer for me.
My device:
HTC Touch Diamond (Dutch version)
Rom:1.35.404.4 NLD
Rom Date:30 May 2008
Radio:0.93.25.NS26
WM Version 6.1 - CE 5.2.19588 Build 19588.11
I had the same problem and had to send the device back for replacement. Probably not the answer you wanted to hear, but definately a hardware probelm on mine.
Hi,
I'm really pleased with my HTC TD, but now the speaker audio have become very scratching and distorted when talking to people.
The phone are in perfect condition and I've only added new wallpapers and installed TomTom 7.
It's also been upgraded to the newest Rom and Radio via HTC E-Club.
Have anyone seen or experienced something like this?
Hi everybody!
I have problem using my Nissan Qashqai handsfree with Diamond. Sound quality it very bad (like transmitted only half of time-slots) and my voice isn't heared at all (silence).
My previous HTC 3300 and friend's GlowFish work well. Also i tested Diamond with Jabra handsfree - it was ok too.
I've changed several RAM and Radio, but nothing help.
Once i noticed on system tray message "Stereo handsfree connected". Maybe my problem becouse of Diamond stereo connection to mono handsfree?
How to debug this issue, is there any tools or tweeks for manual Bluetooth operations?
Sorry, i cannot help you but i do have the same problem!
I have a HTC Touch HD (Blackstone) and a Qashqai.
It apears the problem is related to WM6.1 bluetooth stack. I've read on the internet tjhat the problem is "solved" in WM6.0 and WM5 but i don;t know how to downgrade the bluetooth stack to the version of WM6.0 or WM5.
Maybe somebody can sent me a complete export of the HKLM/Software/Microsoft/Bluetooth registry of a WM6.0 or WM5 HTC device so i can compare these, maybe there are some changed "defaults" there?
I can't get my HTC Tilt to pair with the BlueAnt ST3. I have the latest ROM with WM 6.1. Anyone else experience this problem? How about with the new HTC Touch HD, does that work with the ST3?
The Touch Pro (Raphael) has had bluetooth problems for a long time when connecting with certain vehicles (in my case an Altima with the nav system) - history of the problem: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=346970
It sounds like (from the last page above, as well as other threads around the web) the Touch Pro 2 comes with bluetooth drivers that fix the issue. I see that HTC also issued an update for the CDMA Touch Pro's which may have solved the problem, but unfortunately I've got the Fuze (GSM).
Does anyone know if it's possible to load the TP2 drivers onto the Fuze, or if anyone has created a package for that?
I have a similar problem but it is with using RSAP (sim access profile) in Audi vehicles. I know someone who has upgraded to a TP2 and the problem is fixed so i would like to know if this is possible.
Is the bluetooth stack part of the rom or something embedded in the device?
