have touch diamond bought 4 mths back. Working perfectly till today when wanted to change battery . Have 1.93.00.00 and radio 1.00.25.05 ,.g 52.2925.12h, dont know exactly how to describe it but it hangs after it shows touch diamond and below in rt hand corner the rom details. Have tried resetting (soft) it multiple times but it comes upto this stage and hangs.
Can somebody please advise me as what to do

Do you use AA Reset?
thanks for the reply. sorry dont know what AA reset means but ultimately did a hard reset and the phone is back working minus the missed data.

This is the second time in two days.
After upgrading my Diamond to official ROM 1.93 ITA it happened for the second time (so far) that it crashed while it was in standby. I couldn't receive calls/sms nor turn it on pushing the power button. I had to remove battery, wait a few seconds and then re-insert it soft-resetting the device.
Did anyone experienced the same problem ?
I've never had such a problem on the 1.93 WWE ROM.
Work Ok for me no problem so far, did you make a hard reset after you flash the rom? I allways make that after a flash even twice
I installed the .93 official ITA rom from HTC site three days agò and no problem so far.
I have had also one 'hang' when the device came out of stand-by. The screen was messed up and the device hang completely. I did it a soft reset and it worked again.
Take out Sim Card and hard reset.

My diamond keeps resetting itself to the splashscreen page and goes no further. I try to hard reset and it will just get me to the same splash screen as I got before and it won't go any further into the hard reset.
I think that if i can get it to do the hard reset, that i would be ok and be able to get rid of the ROM that seemed to cause this situation. I had last put SwiftBL-WWE-Diamond-v7-0-Full-16MbPP on my unit and this started happening right after it was done.
I am open to any suggestions that any of you have for me. I haven't been without a phone or my pda for many years and don't know how long i can go without before happens.

The problem with your phone is that you used a rom that is intended for the GSM version Diamond, and the Sprint one you got is a CDMA, so there's no SIM card in the Diamond you got. You should just try to get into bootloader and go from there...
sorry, wasn't able to find a thread that addressed this. I can't get into bootloader. any idea's how to get into it other than the vol down/reset?
Nevermind. Sprint is sending me a new one. they said it was looped and nothing can be done.

ive gat a problem since few days.
Often when I finish a phone call, the screen freeze. anything is working, the screen stay like if the call continue.
only one solution: do a soft reset.
I tried different rom (duttys panosha...), I tried to hard reset many times...the problem always comes back.
I wondered if it wasnt the radio ?
please someone HELP !

After calls... Freezes 80% or more. I don't know if maybe it is 100% of the time when the other end hangs up first. (I don't get it with Voicemail!)
I also get freezes some other times. I don't think it is memory related, (before someone suggests it.) Also Please don't tell me to Hard Reset. I have Hard resetted to my heart's content, also directly after every Rom Update (to get GPS working)
All my hardbuttons work but nothing works on the screen no matter how long i press down or hard or soft. The touchscreen just isnt working. I just woke up this morning and it stoped working.
Does anyone have any thoughts?

You still have to provide a few more information if you really want someone finding out the cause of your problem!
What have you done last on your device before it happened? Are you still running on the factory installed ROM? Have you tried SOFT RESET and HARD RESET yet? And so on ...

people always seem to forget that we have no clue about the actual condition of their devices! We further can't possible know what they have tried already to solve the problem. In addition, it is important to remember what had been done last on the device before the problem occured (such as installing / removing software, screwing with the device's registry, reflashing, giving it a bath and so on ...)
Well the last thing I installed on my phone was slide to unlock and that was like a month ago. I have soft and hard reset and I'm stuck in the set up after the Hard Reset were it has you touch to continue. I am on factory rom. The only software on it was TomTom 7, spb shell, slide to unlock. Everything worked fine on it and then I touched my screen one day and noticed it wasnt responding to my touch and it really just came out of the blue like I have not dropped it or got it wet or anything no problems until now.
Any other information you need let me know?

today，I install a software "TMTCP" for video ,and I reset my kaiser.then the kaiser reset ,reset ,reset,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,till I unplug the battery. I flash the offical version,OK,but kaiser also reset,reset.what happen for my phone.help me ,thanks
happened to me too... hard reset will solve the problem but you'll lost all the valuable software installed...

hard reset supposed bring back the setting to the original factory setting... in your case might be advisable to ask help from the expert... sorry can't help
Not sure if I'm experiencing the same problem.
I've recently installed the Core Media Player??? used it once or twice I believe then it crashed and wouldnt work anymore. I uninstalled it a day or two ago. Today my screen keeps freezing every few minutes after a soft reset ... it appears to have resolved it self for now but I'd like to know what happened.....

hey guys got my tilt yesterday and falshed it with the diamond touch pro rom i also had s2u2 lockscreen enabled, well i plugged my phone in the charger last night i woke up and the touchscreen didnt work at all, first i soft reset the phone to no avial, then hard reset and now im stuck, the phone powers up to the welcome setup and cant get past it due to no touchscreen

changed the radio settings to 1.65
reflashed with htc 6.1 rom
any help would be appreciated also could somone let me kno if they think i should redo the hard sbl

this is very weird, alot of people are having the same problem at the same time, I too am having that problem, I have never put a custom rom on my phone, my my touch creen also has stopped working, I've tried hard re-setting it, and that didn't work its just stuck on the stylus set-up screen, and then i even tried to hard flash the HTC kaiser rom again, same results.
