Phone keeps hard resetting

Hi,
I have just tryed to flash both newest laurentius rom and newes kwbr rom
Flashing goes ok, but when all files are loaded, phone just resets and starts all over again.
im on spl-1.56 Olinex
Help needed

Whenever you flash a new rom your phone will automatically reboot and start up again. The phone will need to be setup again with date/time etc but connections etc should automatically setup itself.
This is similar to a hard reset as everything has been wiped from phone apart from OS and whatever you had stored on SD Card
Once setup go to Settings > System and it should state which rom you have installed

Yes but it starts up again with setting time date and so on.
When finished loading files, it starts over as you says, but then rom starts loading again. its like it hard resets all the time instead of just resetting..

I flash. allign screen - set time date and so on - files load - phone restarts

and on and on and on

Ah, right. Apologies. Now I understand your problem better.
Had you ever successfully flashed a rom? Or has thius always happened with a cooked rom?

You can better ask it in L26 ROM topic, but I know that Laurentius ROM (2.3 or 2.4) KEEPS hardresseting automatically due to bugs in his cooked rom. After 2 or 3 times automatic HR it stops....

Yes i have successfully flashed roms, i came from kwbr 2.1
i have tryed with more roms than laurentis´ also with kwbr 2.3 and 2,3,1

Ok, sounds like a hardware problem to me. I've had only automatic Hard Resets with L26's Rom. No problems with Kwbr or Dutty's roms.
Try flashing via USPL and tell us how it goes.

had same problem with l26 rom will never use laurentius rom's again, dutty's and miri's roms are the best

I have tryed with USPL and its the same

Now i cant do anything from my computer. How is it that i flash from sd card?

"take a look at your SD card. direct folder storage card/sdconfig.txt. delete the inside code. im sure there is a code which means hardreset after flash/hardreset. i dont know what it means but i just delete it. but it still hardreset again. so let it hardreset again. then it will be ok until you hardreset your self. lol."
I did it and it worked as a charm. Have you flashed you device with the memory card inserte into it?

no i didnt flash with memory card in it, and memorycard is not in it now
i just managed to flash danish ship rom, but cant seem to flash stock uspl
i will see if phone starts up wit danish ship rom

It worked.. My phone is now alive with danish ship rom..
I will now try to flash newest from Miri..

Anyway, take a look into you SD Card through you PC...is there a folder named "sdconfig.txt"?...if so, take a look into this "sdconfig.txt" and, please, tell what is written into it...

nope, is no such file

Cant flash miris. Just stays at 0 %

managed to get phone back to hard spl thanks to crackwhores fantastic guide.
And at the moment im flashing miris newest rom..

Miris didnt work either, and despite the fact that im on hard spl phone is now with the blurry green screen.
Im beginning to get lost now..

xperia stuck in restart loop

Hi there
I've got a problem with my X1. I did a hardspl which was successful and then i updated to a custom rom using the minisd card version. After a few days my xperia was restarting repeatedly during the night. This was fixed however by taking out the battery and putting it back in.
But this problem happened again a day or two later so this time i decided to reflash the ROM and still it didn't fix it. Now all my xperia does is restart, it gets to the green windows logo screen, sometimes the top task bar may load and then it restarts.
I've tried the following solutions:
1. Reflashed rom to a stock rom
2. took out the battery, minisd card, sim card.
3. Changed battery.
I cannot change the spl back to the stockspl because if i connect it to the pc, it does not recognise it as a valid usb device.
Does anyone have any suggestions or is it a bricked device?

Can you flash with SEUS? I'm not sure if SEUS works with HardSPL though...

HARDSPL don't work with SE update service.
Install original R3 ROM with microsd metod.

I;ve tried the R3 and R1 original ROM and i still have the same issue.

Phone slow and often doesnt work at all

Hi people,
I recently decided to update my touch diamond to wm6.5.
Already got HardSPL 1.93 some time ago together with the swift rom.
Now I downloaded this rom:
BOGYSOFT WM6.5 Build 23060

And followed the instructions carefully, put the rom on the internal storage and started the update process as usual.
After it had finished installing I already noticed it took the phone way to long to completely boot into windows.
After a few reinstalls I finally got it to work but it was very slow and often I couldnt even unlock the damn thing.
At this point I cant even get into windows anymore.
Now ofcourse I want this rom removed from my phone, but is that even possible when I cant boot it into windows??
I need to have an USB connection to put on another rom, so is that possible without windows?

I had a problem with an earlier version of this ROM, and the fix turned out to be quite simple.
I flashed my stock ROM back on and then re-flashed BOGYSOFT, ever since then been no problems what so ever.
I had flashed a few different ROM's to try before this it's possible I suppose that there may of been some corruption with repeated flashing.

I think the hardspl is affecting the phone's stability, cause returned back to the stock after flashing some cooked roms and it's bad more than before.....
any news?

Yes but dont you need to acces the phones internal storage to add a new rom?
Cause I dont know how to do that when I'm not even able to acces windows.

Anybody?
Is my phone bricked or is there a way to connect to the internal storage without WM?

Now it doesnt even boot the rom anymore,
The image has even dissapeared from my internal storage.
It is now stuck in the Bootloader telling me to trigger the USB host.
Any ideas?

My Diamond has been pretty unreliable over the last couple of days, but I used MTTY to format the internal flash, loaded the latest Gen.Y ROM (I don't think it really matters which ROM tho) and now it works perfectly again. Plus to me it seems a bit faster. Anyway I couldn't be happier.
If you can get into the bootloader with USB I'd certainly give the instructions in this flash a go (post 3 or 4 only if you're on Windows XP).

Can't flash Tilt HELP!

Hi, guys.
I became recently an owner of AT&T Tilt. I got it with KaiserTouch (two months old release) and I wanted to flash the newest version. But there is the problem.
I downloaded the newest release, connected the phone with my computer, started the KaiserCustomRUU.exe and when the installation is about to begin, it just hangs on 0%?! And the computer shows the error 262, or something like that.
I tried ALOT of times and it's always the same.
Tried flashing from an SD card, but it just shows "Loading..." and hangs there until I take the battery out.
Then I succeded flashing the official ROM with KaiserCustomRUU and now I'm stuck on 6.1 AT&T ROM. Won't flash ANY of the cooked ROMs. :/
Tried to flash HardSPL with both methods and the things are the same (hangs at 0%, hangs at "Loading...")...
So, PLEASE help me!
Edit: My SPL says: SPL-3.56.0000
Edit 2: Made it! HardSPL wasn't installed. So I installed HardSPL 3.56 and it worked! Installed the cooked rom without problem from SD card!

Tilt 2 HARDSPL with Micro SD

Ok, ive searched high and low with conflicting answers. Majority of info says no, no SD Hardspl is possible via micro sd, but a few posts say it is.
Is it possible??
My USB isnt working (even on bootloader) and im stuck with an Orange ROM!! (and by God Orange ROMS are A T R O C I O U S!).
HAve i a HARDspl alternative to USB sync???

Hello, seems that I was in a reverse situation couple of months ago: my TP2' USB stopped working, battery drain inacceptable and the phone stuck on Energy (read: unofficial) ROM. I was able to flash the WWE stockROM back but not to re-SSPL through USB of course.
What's worked for me:
- I've simply extracted the .nbh from SSPL package, renamed it to RHODIUM.nbh and flashed from SD card just like I'd flash a ROM
(after reset the phone went a bit mad )
- switched to bootloader and flashed the StockROM from SDcard again, and... voila
(After that, I have claimed the warranty repair successfully - and nobody would have said the phone was not in "as-shipped" status.)
May something like that work for you, too?

You can flash the stock SPL via SD card. But you can't flash HardSPL via the SD card, because it still needs an Internet connection for its licence checking.

Yeah, if you have an Orange-branded phone (as opposed to a plain HTC one) then you won't even be able to flash official HTC ones, only Orange ROMs.
