I made a mistake! I tried to upgrade spl via sd card. When the process was finished my blackstone can't start. When I turn on the pda I get a screen where it says " Blac100 32m spl-1.54.0000 MicroP-Blackstone (led) v6 Upgrade rom code error Please try again".
When i try with a new sd upgrade it start but it stop in screen: Loading...
I tried with HSPLWrapper_Blackstone_156OliNex but it stop at 0% and then appeare the 262 error.
Someone can help me?.

First try with hard reset.
I tried but nothing to be done. When HR is finished appeare the same screen with a same error code rom ecc ecc...

I'd bought my htc p3600 pro (black, free from sim-lock & free from any carrier) from London.
As advised by TRINITYGUIDES.INFO site I tried to do HardSPL with all the three available HardSPL files, but of no avail.
When the HardSPL's progress bar comes(on pc) it gives a message on my phone " Enterbootloader.exe....This may harm your device...Do you want to continue.." I pressed yes & the process stopped & gave an error on pc "Error 246 Device not responding" & on phone screen showed the bootloader with

I have used a lot the "search"-function and I have found a lot of posts which propose the same solution "restart the Rom upgrade another time". Ok I did it and my PDA works very well, but now I would like to solve the problem radicaly... How can I solve this problem? Should I use SPLexploit (I have found the guide on trinityguides.info) and then reflash a Hard-Spl?

Before flash manually enter bootloader. After start the rom update utility. (As www.trinityguides.info suggest). You will not get error 246 any more

Here is written to flash rom you should manually enter to bootoader. In this case, you will not have error 246.
Most of the people know this, so they have not this problem
Those who not manually enter bootloader can get error 246, and this way of flashing is not as safe as the manual bootloader way.
(because in this case you use the spl uploaded by RUU, not the hard-spl on the PDA)

When i connect my touch hd to pc in active sync mode, then shutdown device an run in bootloader (volume down and power button at same time) i get the tricolor screen and after a while i get the progress bar on my phone and on pc. But i stays on 0% and says 'update error' after a while.
please help

Hi Me has the trinity 3600 as a VPA GPS vodafone branding, and i get the same error message trying to run the bootloader and entering tricolor screen, ---> error 246 aber manually starting into bootlaoder and restatrting the romupdateutil.exe same error 260 no connention...
So you guys have a working version of the updating ?
And please remove all the links which are not working, linking a solve for the 246 problem, there are nomore links available...

I found a way to solve the problem 246 go in you mobile device, -->start -> settings-> connections ->USB to PC open this. Remove the hook @ Advanced networksettings activation! ---> click OK--> close
try again the bootloader etc, then on the tricolore reboot screen is shown USB in the lower white field and the bootloader can do its routine complete.
Have Fun with flashing the phones!

Restore_Stock_SPL_114_2.zip (Succesfull)
But then my deviece rebooted and now it shows:

USPL was not working for me when I needed to use it to upgrade the ROM on my touch hd.
What I did was run it on Windows XP instead of Windows Vista and the device responded.
Install ActiveSync 4.5 on Windows XP, disable USB connection in ActiveSync settings, and connect PDA to computer via USB whilst the PDA is on bootloader.
Then run USPL.

Well the first try failed.
the phone didn't get connected to xp (using vmware)
So gonna try @ home.
I'm going to try this:
No connection, wait 5 min, than put battery back and preform a HR.

This was unbranded.....
But going to try to flash the dutch rom.
Funny thing is sometimes it starts flashing but after 1% the screen goes black and back to home menu of bootloader.

Fire up MTTY and do an "info 2". It should give you the CID of the device - try and find a matching Ship EXE for that CID.
*Instructions for MTTY are in the Kaiser Stuck in Bootloader link in my sig BTW.

While loading I ran the dutch rom update.
And now it's flashing.

The dutch image must match the CID / Model on your device.

riz157, try flashing with the original shipped rom the device came with. i had this problem a few days ago. it took a while to work out. the shipped rom did the trick for me.
Oh man
I think I also screwed up my HD. It is stuck on Loading... screen. Won't connect to pc. Can not flash anything to it. Restores ok but after reset it shows "update rom code error,please try again" and then next screen shows Loading... for ever.

what if you dont remmember what was the original one =)
i tryed to delete the HSPL
by hardboot via SD ( LEOIMG )...
i got the same problem ...
with the message:
Upgrade ROM code error, Please Try Again.
1) i took out the SD from the Device
2) pulled out the battery 5 sec wait ...
3) put it back ... Push power button ...
4) on the exclamation mark screen ( after it loads )
5) reinstall the HSPL ...
and wm workes again ....
BUT STILL ....
how can i delete the HSPL properly and put a OWWE on my device.

I have a problem when I want to update my Sony Ericsson Xperia x1 with the christian rom version 5.310 full. I flashed my mobile and It said it was fine. After that I wanted to update the ROM. But everytime i'm getting the update error 262. When I do the adviced recovery and try again it doesn't work. I also tried a soft reset, pc reboot and install the HARDSPL again. But nothing seem to work.
When the rom is starting to update I hear the sound of the disconnection of my mobile. Then my mobile gets the tricolor. With following information.

microp1-787 microp2-707
Then I get a proces bar and after 20 seconds I get the update 262 error. Please help me I really want this rom.

No need to open a new thread with this question, please post your question in the ROM thread or in the hardSPL thread.

SPL-0.78.0000
means you haven't hardSPL'ed your device, so hardSPL first and then flash the ROM. When you hardSPL'ed correct it should say:
KOVS110
SPL-0.72.Olinex.
For problems with hardSPL please read the hardSPL sticky

Moved as not ROM Development.
You need to find the original stock ROM to which can be found in the WIKI "which is offline @ mo but many sites have same list copied from here" since not hard-spl'd the phone will vendor ID check which is why you get an error trying to flash.
You will need to get into the OS to be able to sync to flash hard-spl.
getting tired... to search here and there...
not able to get the stock ROM...for that same model..

Hi i'm fabio... Yesterday i saw a post that says to use task29 to flash new ROM.. i've used task 29 but my HD blocks himself on the initial message "smart mobility" and in bootloader mode appears this message:

In USB mode i can't flash new ROM and Radio because the loading blocks on 0% and then it appear error 262 and other kind of error.
